With Nabers Group since 2017... Researched high and low for Self Directed Solo 401K and found Jeff and Rachel to be honest brokers of these instruments. Education articles and simplicity of setting up with clear instructions made it easy for me. If you need more than self directed 401K they are ready to assist.

Everyone should have a Solo 401K, even your kids
I strongly believe that everyone in the US should have their own Solo 401K, even our kids. It is a great tool to save money tax free and build wealth.
Ilana and her team are super responsive and guide you step-by-step through the process. I highly recommend working with them.

Rollover Question and Restatement

I called 2 days ago with a question (called twice and wass told someone would call back within 24 hours. I left 2 numbers (a different one each time) and now 48 hours later, still no call back.

Have appearance of non-professionalism…
Have appearance of non-professionalism and shady. As if someone was running it out of their house our garage. Not very good at follow up and assuring the customer that there was stability in the company.

Sets up the documents only
Sets up the documents only. Expect to manage every single thing including setting banking, reporting, documentation, IRS reporting, rollovers, etc... There is no platform, no automation, none of the things the sales pitches have shown images of.
Changed the review to a higher score as communication is very good, but still lacks the automation suggested in pitch materials.

Don't loose sleep...Nabers Group got this.
After weeks of online research trying to find the best way to secure personal monies while minimizing taxes, someone referred us to the Nabers Group. Being a business owner with no other partners except my spouse, and having no employees, we were able to restate our existing 401k with the Nabers Group. They provide a plethora of services that streamlines the entire confusing process (especially dealing with IRS rules). We had our IRS approved 401k documents within a day. They provided a list of partnering banking institutes that specializes in retirement accounts and understands the client's goals.
Based on our unique business and personal finances, we wanted to maximize our Roth contributions. We spent days (and nights) researching what is allowed and what were the maximums. In fear of doing the wrong thing and incurring a penalty from the IRS, we stayed up all night until 3:00 a.m. reading IRS publications and going over the forms that we thought MAY be required. As much as my husband and I logically reasoned what might be needed and what ought to be done, ultimately we did not know anything for sure.
The next day, with refresh minds, we continued the debate from the night before. Finally, I requested a one on one call with Iliana, a solo 401k specialist. We asked her about setting up bank accounts and deposits, Roth contribution limits, roll overs, and required IRS forms. In less than 10 minutes, she cleared up all our uncertainty.
After the call, we felt confident and were comforted knowing that she knew the right answers to our questions, because she had gone through the same process to create her own solo 401k. She was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with.
