Hello Wendy, thank you for your review. We only sell 100% cashmere knitwear and would never sell a fake cashmere jumper. Every jumper is hand inspected by several team members to ensure we sell only the highest quality cashmere. Cashmere can feel a little different depending on age and the style of knit, older/vintage cashmere can feel less soft than some come to expect, which may be why yours doesn't feel quite like you expected. This is actually an indication of high quality, as more cashmere yarn is used to knit the jumper.
Jumper repair
I sent a cashmere jumper for a repair, it had a small moth hole on the sleeve. The repair is great, you can see it but only if you’re looking for it. It was very reasonably priced too, with great communication.

Perfect cashmere
I've just taken delivery of a beautiful, faultless cardigan from this company. I was a bit hesitant about ordering a nearly new cashmere cardigan because I wear mine until they are falling apart but I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely use this company again. I love that it helps the circular economy, saves me money, and re-uses something that would be wasted otherwise.

Great products, excellent customer service
I purchased a jumper, cardigan and neck warmer from Nearly New Cashmere last week. Before I made the order I emailed feeling apprehensive about buying second hand cashmere - was it bobbly, etc? Izzy replied promptly explaining they don't sell anything that is less than 100% perfect. Bold claim I thought! I received my goods quickly, well packaged and they were perfect, as Izzy had promised. So I'm feeling very happy that I have the cashmere at a fraction of the full shop price, I have something slightly unusual and feel as though I'm helping the recycling effort! Great company and I would thoroughly recommend you give them a try.

Cashmere Scarf
I am very pleased with the colours and quality of my new Cashmere Scarf. The scarf is light around my neck which I like and also lovely and warm. My parcel arrived in good time from the UK to Perth in Western Australia just in time for our Autumn/Winter weather. A nice personal touch was a handwritten message from Ebony to enjoy wearing my scarf, I certainly will, thank you.

The quality of the garment is good
The quality of the garment is good, and the colour is as I expected. I have not given the garment 5 stars as it is a US size Large, which equate to a size 16, not a UK size Large with is a size 14. I am a comfortable size 14 and so I am swamped.

I cannot recommend this company high enough. I ordered 3 jumpers and they are all beautifully reconditioned and mended where necessary. They look like new. Service was impeccable. I just sent 3 of my old cashmere jumpers to be reconditioned. This is a unique service provided at reasonable price. Thank you!

Great choice of items
Great choice of items. First time I've ordered and a lovely navy blue cashmere designer tunic jumper arrived 2 days later. Perfect condition so I am really pleased and will be using Nearly New cashmere again. Many thanks for such a good service and recycling cashmere in such a good way.

Lovely shop, quality items and friendly, personal approach
I’ve been visiting this shop (in person and online) for a couple of years and never seem able to come away empty handed! Fabulous idea to recycle cashmere and provide new pieces too. I live in the gloriously comfy bed socks (they are absolutely perfect in boots and trainers). The rescued jumpers are always in excellent condition, I wouldn’t have realised they aren’t new. Great local business.
