Money paid but no mattress

I purchased a Nectar mattress online and 3 weeks later it has not been delivered. After being notified that the mattress was received by the delivery service and I would be getting a call from them, no one called. After calling Nectar, I was told they were unable to make contact with the delivery service. After more phone calls and promises that they would get back to me, no one ever reached out to me. Still waiting to hear something or my mattress to be delivered.

denied exchange in warranty

One year into owning the bed and the sides have completely failed. I tried to just get a replacement but they denied me even under warranty. I sent in photos but they continue to deny the exchange. Hard to sleep at times not worth the $800 price tag.

Poor customer service and poor product

Poor customer service. They sell mattresses but nothing to support them. They will tell you a box spring is not necessary, but it is. They advertise a a foundation that can be used as a box spring but it won’t fit in a frame. Very misleading. The solution was swapping out current mattress for an even more expensive mattress.

If I could rate this company with no star at all I would! The 365 days trial is a scam and it’s their way of getting you! When I reached out the customer service before my 365 days trial ended for a return they just denied my request because of some small stains! I really wanted to love this mattress but I just hate it! Instead of helping my back pain it just made it worst! Don’t believe whatever guaranty they offer cause it’s just a scam! The customer’s service is the worst I ever experienced.

I love the mattress

I love the mattress. I see a lot of people had problems returning it but I’m not planning to have to do that. If it holds up the way it has I’m fine with keeping it for years.

No returns within 30 days of purchase, no matter how bad you hurt

My husband and I just bought one of their hybrid mattresses. We went all in and got the deluxe version and everything. Instead of a comfortable mattress, we got a rock hard behemoth that is giving my husband and I terrible back, shoulder, hip and neck pain. I tried to call and return it, but they're refusing to take it back until we "get used to it" for 30 days. I'm disabled. Sleeping on this for that long is going to put me in the ER at least once, if not more. Their "solution" is to send us a 2" memory foam topper to convert it into a soft bed. Like 2" is going to feel like ANY difference at all. I did accept the free topper, since I was afraid they'd use it as grounds to refuse my return request I'll be making as soon as the 30 days is up. The 30 day policy is idiocy and absolutely unacceptable when it's causing us this much pain. I'm not looking forward to trying to get our money back, since I can already tell they're going to try and make it impossible.

The 365 night trial is a SCAM

The 365 night trial is a SCAM and they will not honor it. I began a return within the trial period and was denied because of a scuff on the mattress surface that was there when I unboxed it. The online chat agent gave me a long runaround before denying me again. The mattress was comfortable at first but the memory foam has begun to sag at the sides within a year. Be warned they will not honor your return.

Don't buy from Nectar!!

The Nectar Hybrid Mattress has caused me to have terrible hip pain, that I have never had before. Didn't help my husband's back. So not good for back pain users. The top is wrinkled. The bed is lumpy after using only 1 month. Tried many times to return. Customer service is a nightmare. All of them are the rudest people on earth! Gave me such a run around. After being hateful and finally giving you the go ahead to return, they give your address to a thirdparty company and tell you that they will come in a non-company truck wearing non-logoed clothes, so no uniform, to pick up. And then you may get your money back with in your 365 day trail. So I have to wait for a stranger to come in my home with my kid, to pick up a mattress that sucks and then wait over 330 for a refund. So they suck

Poor Quality. Poor Customer Service

We ordered two full mattresses in August 2022. Sheets and pillows were included in with the purchase. We spent over $1600. One of the zippers on a pillow cover broke in March 2023. I contacted customer support and I was told there is no warranty to cover replacement because the items were "free." My expectations is for all products to last at least one year. Items are poor quality. Poor customer service.

Incredibly soft…Trash!!

Incredibly soft. Zero side support. 3 months use, it’s become a speed bump in middle and kills my back. 15 emails for returning it, and their response is “refund of $250 to keep it”. Their CSR are a complete joke. Should have a zero stars option.

Remote broken? Too bad!

The adjustable bed frame remote broke. They refuse to replace or offer a way to PAY for a replacement. They instead send me an Amazon link to a knock-off remote for $120 that looks like my remote. AWFUL. Stay away.

Don't be a fool like me

Don't be a fool like me. They claim to be all about the customer but in the end, do NOT stand behind their products. Buyer beware. When you reach out to replace or return an item they delay responding for days, ask you for evidence, dispute the evidence, and ask you for more, say it doesn't meet their criteria, and then offer you fifteen bucks off. They basically delay you and or argue with you until you just give up. Incredibly disappointed. Read the fine print.

Fake Return Policy

I am incredibly disappointed in this company. Supposedly you have a year to try your mattress and return it. After a couple of nights this mattress was bothering my back so I contacted nectar to return it. They said I HAD to sleep on it for 30 nights in order to return it. So after 30 days I once again tried to return the mattress and was asked 100 questions about why the mattress doesn’t work for me. They then asked for 10 pictures of the mattress, the tags, the front and the side to make sure it didn’t have any “stains” on it. After submitting multiple photos they told me the photo wasn’t from the correct angle. They also told me that if a return was accepted I had to take it myself to a donation site and provide them with a receipt of proof of donation for a refund. I told Nectar mattress that I don’t have a car large enough to carry a king sized mattress. Their strategy seems to be to give you as hard of a time as possible so you give up on returning the item. I will be disputing this purchase with American Express. If you are someone who is looking to truly try a mattress to see if it works for your back, look elsewhere! I would never recommend this company.

Bought this split King motor on bed…

Bought this split King motor on bed went bad under 2 years . They sent a replacement was not the same one I bought different remote. After quit working called so called customer service got email from him few minutes later he could sell us a new one and suggested maybe buy a cheaper. What ? Did not have a plan for some one to work on it . I’am a disabled combat vet is the reason I bought this to was to adjust head and foot for back neck when hurting. Wife also had total hip replacement and had to use the side that works . This is a very cheap frame . Don’t buy this ever!! No customer service just sales people!

Ordered Nectar Hybrid mattress on…

Ordered Nectar Hybrid mattress on January 22, 2023 with a promised delivery in 1-3 days. We rec'd the free pillows/sheets bundle, but, we still haven't rec'd the bed! It is FEBRUARY 27, 2023!
I have 35 emails in my email account that correspond with 'sleep specialists' and nectar codes to access my account. Talked into not canceling a few times. When I finally said enough, I was told that I would not be refunded until the bed, which was in transit, was returned to the fulfillment center. I said that was unacceptable and after asking to speak with a manager a few times, I was told that my money was 'just released' back into my account. Guess what. It wasn't. And, I received another tracking # from fed-ex that showed another mattress was on its way. OMG! What a scam! They used my money without permission. This is theft! It was supposed to arrive today at the end of the day. Well, it's 7:36 pm, and it's not here. (I did call them on February 25 and told them if the bed did in fact arrive today per tracking info, I would keep it.)

One of the specialists said that the 1-3 day shipping offer didn't apply to the Hybrid bed. Really? That's what the confirmation email and one of the other 'specialists' said!

Don't buy Nectar via an airline shopping portal

I ordered a Nectar mattress via the United Mileage Plus shopping portal which I use often so know very well how it works. Nectar never credited the miles, promised to sort the issue out but after a lengthy email back and forth stopped responding. This is cheating basically.
The mattress itself is just okay. The free pillows and a set of bedding that come as a "gift" and are valued by Nectar at $499 are of extremely poor quality.
I will never buy from them again.

Wanted to return it as it has 365day return period
They offered me 60%
I said no I wanted to return
Then this British heart foundation comes and rejects the return saying there is a stain on the mattress which is less than 2cm

Its not a brand new mattress it was opened and obviously there will be stains
And now they
Cannot even offer that 60% which they offered before a week
And cannot return it as it has been rejected

What a company
Full of drama , lies

Avoid this company at all costs
There are better mattresses out there
I realised it late as I was tempted by that 365day trial

Not worth the money
Not worth the hassle
Dodgy people

Case of the split king crappy mattresses and adjustable frame

My Husband and I bought 2 TWINXL mattresses in April 2019 and I had to call in to tell them to come back and pick up my mattresses because it wasn’t comfortable and in transit one of the mattresses covers was cut. So instead of spending me two complementary pieces of memory, foam and one mattress cover, they sent me one of each??!! This has made my bed lopsided so when I called in and told them of their mistake, they told me that they was not going to send out another piece of foam so my bed is uneven. Because they didn’t want me to send back the mattresses because they were uncomfortable. They were supposed to send me two large pieces of memory foam, I have their split king and the split adjustable bases (so I have two twin XL mattresses ) one of them has a big rainbow crater in it the one without the extra memory foam, and the memory foam that they sent me is yellow and blue. My mattress covers have been on my bed since the day that I got them, the only thing that touches the mattress is the different colored foam that they sent me now my whole bed is clean, but there is one spot on my mattress that will not come off from that piece of memory foam. My mattresses are still under warranty. The spot was cleaned and it will not remove, but I have two mattresses, they don’t want to change out the one without the stain so my experience with nekter has been very bad I would never spend another red cent with them do not buy nectar crappy mattresses. They don’t stay comfortable everything goes to crap shortly after you start sleeping on them and they don’t want to make good , on their garbage mattresses, that’s why they don’t stand behind them. and they give you these memory foams that are full of colors and then put spots on your mattress and then that way they can say will we’re not taking that mattress back because it has a stain on it which their merchandise put the stain on the mattress. I bought all of their stuff to protect my mattress, and the one thing they gave me put a stain on my mattress and they want to ignore it and act like I’m the one that did it that’s just the way for them to cop out so they don’t have to replace my whole king size bed but they don’t even wanna change the mattress that doesn’t have a spot on it I bought two mattresses two movable frames which are garbage the mattress is constantly come apart so my king size bed does not stay together. We constantly have to keep pushing the mattresses back together don’t buy nectar, crappy, mattresses, and crappy, nor split bed frames for the split King, I should say the very flawed design on them only has a guard for the mattress at the foot of the bed. There is nothing on either side to keep the mattresses together , don’t buy their split king. You will be highly pissed off and upset because y we’re constantly have a mattress dance where you have to keep pushing your two mattresses together. And I professionally clean the spot. The rest of the bed is pristine white. The one spot that is on my mattress came from their product that they sent me. this is how they’re getting out of replacing my mattresses, but they will not replace both of the mattresses. Nor the one without the spot! I told them OK so let’s address the mattress that doesn’t have the spot. Surely you can replace that one and they just stop talking to me.??!!! This is a company that knows that they have garbage products that’s why they don’t stand by them!!

Lumpy middle

Purchased my Nectar King size mattress 18 months ago, the last few months both myself and my partner noticed a clear devide between us which seemed to make us both roll to the outside edge. It is not comfortable to sleep on any longer so got in touch with Nectar who send someone round to look and we have been told it's within acceptable parameters. Will be getting rid as its not comfortable and buyers beware don't fall for the lifetime guarantee as its actually worthless
