Missing order
I wanted to amend my order after placing it directly. Contacted the customer service team who informed me that my order is misplaced and they will investigate the matter and revert back to me. The order was then shipped without amending it. After receiving the order I was trying to issue a return label but there was an issue with the return portal. I contacted customer service and my issue was not resolved yet. Really bad customer experience

Wunderschöne Kleidung und erfolgreiche und schnelle Retoure aus Deutschland
Die beiden Kleider, die ich bestellt habe, waren beide wunderschön.
Ich schreibe diese Bewertung aber vor allem, weil ich mit einer Bestellung aus Deutschland wirklich gehadert habe aufgrund der teils schlechten Bewertungen zu Retouren von außerhalb des UK.
Eines der Kleider war mir etwas zu groß, weshalb ich es zurücksenden musste. Da der Kaufpreis bei über 600 EUR lag, habe ich mich dafür entschieden, die Rücksendung über die von N&T vorgeschlagene Express Rücksendung per Retourenlabel vorzunehmen, auch wenn mir klar war, dass diese teurer ausfallen könnte, als wenn ich es in Eigenregie zurücksende. Der Ablauf ist dann so, dass man das Paket mit Retourenlabel zurücksendet und die Kosten für die Rücksendung am Ende vom erstatteten Kaufpreis abgezogen werden. Ich hatte mich aus Sorge, dass das Kleid in einer Versandtüte beschädigt werden könnte, auch dafür entschieden, den Karton von N&T zu nutzen. Daher war ich von sehr hohen Versandkosten (express+nicht-EU-Land) ausgegangen. Nur sechs Tage nach Rücksendung kam eben der erstattete Kaufpreis, von dem "nur" 15 EUR abgezogen wurden. Dafür, dass das Kleid sicher wieder zurückgelangt ist und ich den hohen Kaufpreis so schnell zurück hatte, ist es mir das alle mal wert. Ich kann also jeden beruhigen, der aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen zögert, etwas beruhigen, solange einem die (für DE-Verhältnisse) hohen Retourenkosten bewusst sind . :-)
Das zurückgesendete Kleid werde ich mir für meine standesamtliche Hochzeit bestellen. :-)

Never buy from an overseas provider…
I ordered a dress for a time sensitive event 2 weeks ago (9 business days). It is not here. I contacted customer service 4 days ago to inquire as to the status. Got an AI auto reply saying a representative would be in touch. Haven’t heard a peep. Tracking app only says “in transit.” I expect better for a dress that’s $780. No idea if it’s worth it or not because I haven’t seen it. It will probably be so late that even if it’s perfect, I’ll have to send it back because I’m not postponing my wedding.

I'm so happy I came across Needle & Thread. I found a perfect dress for my wedding. I had to return and reorder a different size and had no issues with the returns process. The refund was issued promptly. The quality of the dress is so beautiful and looks even better than it does online!

SLOW REFUND, SHAMBOLIC RETURN PROCESSING
Poor customer service, returned 2 dresses and only 1 dress processed as a refund. This was 1 complete order, all returned on 24/07/25 in the original box and received by Needle & Thread. As a consumer I’m concerned where the other dress is? Maybe on warehouse floor ? Leaves me in a precarious position. I’m shocked both were not processed together. Emails/Telephone calls made and still waiting. First time order and I won’t ever order from this company again. Order 141237.

No acknowledgement of return and no refund
I ordered 6 dresses, all equally amazing dresses and so happy with the one dress I kept. However, still waiting for my refund almost six weeks later. Six Needle and Thread dresses add up to a lot of money...£2500 plus! Money that is now outstanding on my credit card. Worst thing is, Needle and Thread do not acknowledge when they have received the return. So now I am living in fear, wondering if they were ever returned! Really bad return customer service leaving customers in limbo. High quality dresses, but low quality care that really does need to be addressed.

I liked the dress, it is stunning and was packaged beautifully. I was however disappointed that the dress came without a label. I have had 3 of your dresses sent to me and have come to have high expectations of your company. I know that I this item was in the sale but would not expect your standards to be less. I hoped that this item was unworn/new.

I ordered the shimmer pink ditsy long sleeve dress to wear for my daughter’s wedding. It is absolutely gorgeous. Very high quality. I did go up a size due to a larger chest. I will have the waist taken in. Shipping to the states didn’t take too long. So pleased with my purchase.

Used the try before you buy option for my daughter who was looking for a wedding outfit. Super quick delivery, excellent communication, really clear instructions and the item was stunning and well made, unfortunately it didn't fit as she wanted which was why try before you buy was ideal.
