Thanks for the feedback. We want to set out the facts clearly here for anyone reading this.

The UK flag badge was missed from your order in error. As soon as you flagged it, we offered to send a replacement out to you. You asked for a refund instead, which we processed the same day.

On delivery timing, your documents weren't received until after our 2:30pm cut off for dispatch that day. That's why your order moved to the next working day for processing. We don't dispatch on weekends, which is why it arrived on the Tuesday. Both the cut off time and our weekend dispatch policy are stated clearly on our website, and your plates were delivered within that advised timeframe.

We're a DVLA registered supplier and we take getting orders right seriously. When we get something wrong, we put it right, which is what we tried to do here.

Thank you for the feedback. A few points for clarity, both for you and anyone else reading this.

On centring: the spacing top to bottom is not equal by design, not by error. UK law requires every plate to display the manufacturer's BS AU 145e marking along with our company name and postcode, and this has to sit within the plate border. That takes up space at the bottom, which is why the registration isn't centred top to bottom. Left to right, it is centred as standard. This applies to every DVLA compliant plate from any supplier, not just ours.

In your original email, you also mentioned you'd had to return plates to a few other suppliers for the same reason before placing this order. Since the spacing you're describing is a legal requirement rather than a supplier choice, it's likely those suppliers were also correctly following BS AU 145e rules rather than making an error.

On the air bubbles: we take quality control seriously and would like to inspect the plate. Please contact us directly so we can look into it and put it right if there is a genuine fault.

On contact: the only email we have on file from you is the one sent before your order, asking us to centre the registration, which we did within the legal constraints above. We have no record of any email, call, or message from you since the plate was dispatched. If you did try to reach us and it didn't arrive, please resend to hello@nextdayplates.co.uk and we will respond.

Next Day Plates is a DVLA registered supplier. Every plate meets BS AU 145e standards, which is what governs the spacing you're describing. We're glad to resolve any genuine fault directly, we just need you to get in touch.

Thank you for your review. We have no record of an order under your name in our system. It's possible this review was intended for a different company, as there are other suppliers with similar names and we do occasionally see misdirected reviews.
If you did order with us, please contact us with your order number and we will look into it immediately. We'd also note that orders placed on a Friday after 2pm are dispatched the next working day, so Monday dispatch for Tuesday delivery is standard.
