Dangerous Practices

On 30th September, my 80mg Atomoxetine prescription was abruptly stopped by your service with zero titration, zero tapering support, and nothing provided in writing. This was done pending POTS investigations. My ECG results are completely normal and were provided to you weeks ago. Every single day that Care ADHD/Noodle drag this out, is another day of leaving a patient unmedicated which continues to be dangerous.

I have now been left in severe Atomoxetine withdrawal, experiencing intense emotional dysregulation and profound anxiety plus overeating and weight gain adding to my distress for over a month. I am repeatedly told this is "being discussed in MDT meetings," or "someone needs to review" but no action is being taken. Kept asking for results/consent to contact my GP for Echo results I repeatedly informed that we did not have. Nobody listens.

Due to the abhorrent service received, this matter is currently subject to an open complaint with the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO). Leaving a patient abruptly unmedicated after a maximum dose of a psychiatric medication without an active management plan is a severe breach of your duty of care and NICE guidelines.

Care ADHD/Noodle were made fully aware of previous Tachycardia at my first ever Titration appointment. This is not a new condition and commenced far before I was even diagnosed with ADHD.

Rather than contact me again - Care ADHD/Noodle decided to send me 7 singular 40mg Atomoxetine tablets, with absolutely 0 contact or context. What good is 7 x 40mg of Atomoxetine going to do? What happens after a week? Another DANGEROUS withdrawal period of no support of tapering off this medication again?!

You're going to end up in the Coroners for the service you provide to people. Thankfully not for me but these practices are dangerous and you cannot mess with people's lives and Mental Health in this way.

I will continue to update my horrific experiences until changes are made for everyone who rely on "Noodle" to support with their medication.

Appalling communication and a serious failure in continuity of care

★☆☆☆☆ — Appalling communication and a serious failure in continuity of care

My experience with Care ADHD has been nothing short of disgraceful.

I began prescribed ADHD medication on 10 October 2026, following their titration schedule. I was told I would receive a follow-up appointment within a couple of weeks.

That appointment has not materialised.

Despite repeated attempts to contact the service, including written complaints and formal escalation, I have received no meaningful response or resolution.

I am now down to my final two capsules, facing an interruption to medication that has made a significant positive difference to my daily functioning and emotional regulation.

This is not a minor administrative inconvenience. This is a healthcare provider prescribing controlled medication, initiating treatment and then failing to provide the communication and continuity of care that patients reasonably expect.

What makes this particularly unacceptable is the amount of time and effort I have already wasted attempting to get somebody to take responsibility.

Patients with ADHD can already struggle with executive functioning, organisation and administrative demands. Having to repeatedly chase the very organisation supposedly providing treatment adds an entirely unnecessary burden.

I have done what was asked of me. I have followed the prescribed treatment schedule. I have tried to communicate responsibly. I have escalated my concerns through the appropriate channels.

What exactly is a patient supposed to do when the organisation responsible for their treatment simply fails to respond?

Care ADHD needs to understand that it is dealing with people's health and wellbeing, not unanswered customer-service tickets.

Based on my experience, I have completely lost confidence in this provider.

The medication has helped me. The service responsible for providing it has let me down spectacularly.

After a pretty long wait (which sadly…

After a pretty long wait (which sadly seems to be the norm for ADHD and is not unique at all to Care ADHD), I started titration. I have now done three rounds and each time, the drugs have arrived between one day late (meaning an awkward and uncomfortable comedown while I'm supposed to be evaluating the drug), two days for the second round and on the last appointment a full 5 days which made for a pretty unpleasant week while I'm trying to adapt to these new drugs.

At the time of writing, I am waiting on my final set of drugs and guess what, after nearly four hours total on the phone the pharmacy clinic blames the prescriber and the prescriber blames the clinic but either way I'm about to run out of drugs and no new ones in sight. Could be a day late, a week late who knows.

I was willing to forgive once, but this has now been every single dose. And it's making the experience many times worse and I don't know if I feel bad because I keep having to go without my pills or if the pills are doing it or what.

If you can, I would consider another provider.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that delays in receiving medication have affected your titration journey.

Continuity of medication during titration is important, and we appreciate how frustrating it can be when delays impact your ability to properly assess the benefits of treatment. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Your feedback is valuable, and we will take this on board as we continue reviewing our processes. One area we will consider is whether reducing the time between titration appointments could help minimise the risk of patients running low on medication while waiting for follow-up prescriptions.

We are always willing to learn and improve, and feedback such as yours helps us identify opportunities to enhance the patient experience. Thank you again for taking the time to share your concerns.

Rushed appointments, inadequate support

Overall, I have been disappointed with my experience of CareADHD.

I chose them through Right to Choose largely because of the advertised shorter waiting times, although in reality the process took much longer than stated.

My initial assessment felt very rushed. I often felt I wasn't given enough time to properly explain my answers before being moved on to the next question.

My first titration appointment was much better. The clinician was knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. Unfortunately, finding the right medication has been difficult. The first medication didn't work for me, while the second caused severe insomnia and I felt unable to tolerate it after a week. I know many who have ben offered melatonin for this but I wasnt. I was then switched to another medication, after which I experienced a severe headache, tingling down my right arm and my right hand becoming very cold.

This is where I became particularly concerned about the service. I contacted CareADHD to report these symptoms but received only an automated response and didn't receive a clinical response for four days. When somebody did eventually reply, I was told to attend hospital urgently. If my symptoms warranted urgent hospital assessment, I find it extremely concerning that my message had sat unanswered for four days. There should surely be an effective system for identifying and responding promptly to reports of potentially serious adverse medication effects.

I've also since realised that while the service includes four titration appointments, after that you may need to pay for further appointments. In my experience, four appointments have not been enough to establish the right medication and dose, and many people I have spoken to agree this is inadequate. Titration is by its nature a process of trialling and adjusting medication, and I did not realise i'd be left to figure things out alone after this or pay for further support.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend CareADHD. I haven't consistently felt listened to, I don't feel my medication concerns were responded to quickly enough, and I don't feel the level of support available after diagnosis and during titration has been sufficient.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that you have been disappointed with parts of your journey, particularly when trying to find the right medication and seeking support regarding side effects.

Patient safety is our highest priority. While we encourage patients to contact us if they experience side effects or have concerns about their medication, it's important to note that we do not provide an emergency service and our inboxes are not monitored 24/7. If you feel unwell due to your ADHD medication or require urgent medical advice, we strongly encourage you to seek immediate medical attention through the NHS, including contacting NHS 111, your GP, or emergency services where appropriate. Medication can affect individuals differently, and urgent symptoms should not wait for an email response.

We're also sorry to hear that you felt unsupported during titration. We want to reassure you that we are here to support patients throughout their treatment journey and do not expect anyone to "figure it out" alone. Our aim is always to work with patients until they reach a safe and stable treatment plan.

We would welcome the opportunity to review your concerns in more detail, including your experience of the assessment, medication changes and clinical support. Please contact our team via https://www.noodlehealth.com/contact-us/feedback so that we can investigate your individual case fully.

Eventually sought an ADHD diagnosis due…

Eventually sought an ADHD diagnosis due to finally having a mental breakdown and chose this company based on wait times advertised on their own website.
Diagnosed with ADHD in May after a couple of months wait. No problems with the diagnosis journey and assessment and felt hopeful that there was light at the end of the tunnel. I was advised by my assessor that there was a 12 week wait for medication. Annoying but understandable and I counted down desperately in the hope of some help.
Nearly 6 months later and I still have not been offered a titration appointment. I have contacted them twice using the contact form and had no response. Eventually tried online chat and got a generic response apologising for wait and to contact GP to expedite appointment. GP emailed and still no contact. Again, I contacted via online contact form and have received no response. Checked the website again for updated wait time which states 3 months updated in October which is wholly untrue.
This company is a shambles, is being dishonest about wait times and fails to reply to communication.
I won't go into the mental distress this is causing me on a public forum, but it is significant and they don't seem to care or even want to be upfront with people.
I will be making a complaint directly to my local icb as this should not be on the list of recommended providers on right to choose.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we are pleased to hear that the assessment process was a positive we are genuinely sorry that your experience since then has left you feeling so let down.

We recognise that waiting for treatment while struggling with ADHD symptoms can be incredibly difficult, particularly when you were given an expected timeframe that has since been exceeded. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding communication.

Demand for ADHD services has increased significantly, resulting in longer waits than we would like for some patients. While we are working hard to increase capacity and reduce those delays, we appreciate that this does not change the reality of your experience or the impact it has had on your wellbeing.

We would very much like the opportunity to review your individual case, including the contacts you have made and any correspondence received from your GP. Please contact our Feedback & Resolutions Team via https://www.noodlehealth.com/contact-us/feedback so that we can investigate your concerns thoroughly and provide a detailed response.

Autism assessment? Don't count on it.

In my opinion, this company are falsely advertising that they are carrying out Autism assessments for under 18s.

Having completed our forms to their strict deadline, we had heard nothing for months. I have made a formal complaint but have been fobbed off with 'we are increasing our clinical capacity'. I still haven't heard a thing about booking an assessment. When we were referred, wait times were 6 weeks. This was almost 6 months ago.

Were the process of RTC not so onerous, I would retract my referral and start again elsewhere.

Awful experience, look elsewhere for a provider.

I was diagnosed with ADHD by CAREADHD (now Noodle) on the 26th January 2026. CAREADHD acknowledged my titration request on the 28th of February. They sent me forms for my titration request on March 6th, and then they emailed me on April 2nd, telling me that I’m ready to be booked, but that it could take a few weeks. It is now November the 2nd. It has been 7 months. It has been even longer, if you consider that I decided I wanted medication when I got diagnosed.

I was told around May-June that the latest I would be booked is July. Then, when July passed, I was told there was a backlog and now the latest I would be seen is October.

They told me they would need an email or letter from my doctor to confirm my urgency if I was to be seen any sooner, so I went to my doctor and she did just that. She even messaged me to say when she had emailed CARE ADHD.

I called CAREADHD and asked if they got the email. For some reason at that time, they didn’t even have access to their own inbox, so they couldn’t see if they received the email or not. I called again a while later, for a second time, and they said they never received the email.

I have not been able to ask my doctor to resend the email as she has now left the practice, and my ADHD and anxiety symptoms have prevented me from doing so.

It takes a massive amount of executive function, that I don’t have, to keep chasing this company and filling out their forms. Most of the time I call them, they either leave me on hold for 2-3 hours or don’t answer. They have even hung up on me before. When I send them emails, they don’t respond for at least 2 weeks. It seems the only way they will reply to you, is if you complain.

They barely sent me any communications for months, and when they did, it was to say that they became a noodle?!?! It is absolutely ridiculous and I couldn’t make this up if I tried. It’s incredibly tone deaf, especially when they are leaving so many of their patients to struggle in limbo with titration wait times.

CAREADHD thought this was the perfect time to spend money on a rebranding and expansion into Noodle, so that they can push more and more people through their system, whilst leaving their old patients to collect dust.

If you are thinking about choosing this company as your right-to-choose provider, please reconsider. If not for yourself, then for the other people who still haven’t been treated yet and need to be seen. I am in an abusive home situation, and I can’t leave whenever I might get the opportunity, as I can’t get myself to take the necessary steps to organise my things. I need medication or something to function. It is ruining my life and keeping me trapped.

I do not recommend CAREADHD/Noodle

Very very unimpressed with this experience.

Very unimpressed with this experience.
Information is lacking, updates are seldom and contacting these people is nigh on impossible.
The CareAHDD website gave indication that waiting times should be 12 weeks. The reality is multiples of this.
I am presently on the phone and chat waiting for a response to raising the fact that their verification codes for accessing my account on their website are not being sent!

You would not run your own business like this, unless customer satisfaction and an actual working service didn't matter.....

When you realise that the "customers" NEED to access the service, and have nowhere else to go. It becomes clear that you can treat the captive audience with distain, sparse resource and keep people waiting.

Waiting for verification codes that don't arrive
Waiting for a chat repsonse
Waiting for a telephone operator
Waiting for titration

Let me be clear that the business simply cannot be the right size for its uptake, and has either vastly underestimated the uptake, or is simply not spending on providing the service.

I honestly cannot recommend my ADHD assessor enough. From the very beginning, I felt listened to, understood and supported throughout the whole assessment process.

Having someone take the time to really listen to my experiences and help me make sense of things has been genuinely life-changing. I felt comfortable being myself, never judged, and reassured throughout.

The whole experience was professional, compassionate and thorough, and I’m so grateful for the understanding and clarity it has given me.

Thank you for making what could have been an overwhelming experience feel so positive. Very quick and efficient to sorting my medication out as well.

Completely unprofessional business decision that's upsetting clients.

Just heard about the name change and I feel so sorry for anybody on your waiting lists. You're making all your patients look like it's all just a joke. Nobody wants a diagnosis from a "doctor" with such an unprofessional business name. I'm literally reading post after post of your clients feeling humiliated by the name change. Being diagnosed with a real, serious mental health related/medical conditions is a serious situation, not a kids game or a fun food. Absolute insanity. Like I say I feel sorry for any patients now having to be embarrassed by who theyre having an assessment with or having to find a new waiting list to join. You've just ruined your business with this name change. It makes me think you havnt even got legitimate doctors working with you.

We appreciate that the name change has prompted strong reactions from some patients, and we're sorry to hear that it has caused concern. We'd like to reassure you that this is simply a change of name to reflect the fact that we now offer a broader range of healthcare services beyond ADHD.

Importantly, it's the same team and the same care, just under a new name. The clinicians caring for patients today are the same clinicians who were caring for patients before the rebrand. Changing our name has not taken clinicians away from patient care, it has not increased waiting times, and it has not affected anyone's place on the waiting list.

We understand that receiving an ADHD assessment or diagnosis is a serious and important step, and that remains at the heart of the service we provide. Our focus continues to be on delivering safe, high-quality care and supporting patients throughout their journey.

Should spend less time rebranding and more time fixing wait lists

When I started on the titration waiting list, the wait list times according to their website was 5 months.

7 months later, the website says 3 months.

When emailing their support about this, I got a template response which directed me to the exact web page I was asking about.

The wait lists are bad. The communication around the wait lists is absolutely atrocious.

Edit for the template / LLM response: why do you need to review my concerns in more detail? It's obvious: don't publish a wait time of 3 months when it's >7 months!

Had ADHD all my life and finally thought I was going to get the support that I have so badly been missing. I feel let down.
I'm not going to write a long complaint as it will be no different from the rest on here. I've been waiting since June for titration and from what I read there are many others who's wait has far exceeded that.

AVOID Noodle/CareADHD 👎🏼

If you are about to select your ‘right to choose’ clinic after being referred by your GP, I would highly advise against going with Noodle (rebranded from CareADHD as of last week). Quite clearly to try and distance themselves from the endless negative reviews from patients of CareADHD.
I am too angry, upset, disappointed and feeling abandoned by them to write my whole story but essentially I was diagnosed in Jan 26, waited 6 months for tritration to start in June, prescribed Concerta for the first 4 weeks but never got my follow up appointment. Only after 8 weeks of me trying - and failing - to get through to them did I finally get a call back - in September.
Despite making formal complaints and them being upheld in full, the service has not improved and I am still left feeling like I am supposed to work all this out on my own.
Today I have gone back to my GP and asked if they will take me back onto their caseload. Avoid going through the stress, worry, and feelings of being completely on your own and DO NOT go with CareADHD/Noodle.

Sidenote - to rebrand as Noodle should suggest just how utterly clueless this organisation is. Either a soggy string of pasta or a slang term for a brain - either way, this is dumbing down what for us is something we hope would finally be taken seriously!

Keep getting wrong information

I I have been emailing and calling, awaiting titration. I was told after 7 months that I should have it in a couple of weeks. An extra month has passed, and I called and was told it could be another 3 months. It is understandable that there are wait times, but to keep getting fobbed off is not the greatest.

Extremely Poor Service!

Extremely Poor Service! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Use any other ADHD provider but these guys! They just delay things for no reason and before you say reach out to your resolutions team - tell them to pull their fingers out and check their bloody email inboxes as I've sent 10's of emails to them and they're not resolving anything!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience with us has left you feeling this way.

We understand how frustrating delays and difficulties in receiving responses can be, and we apologise for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction this has caused.

Due to a higher volume of incoming communications than anticipated, our response times have at times been longer than we would like. We appreciate that this can be very frustrating, and we are continuing to work on improving our response times and the service we provide.

As this is a public forum, we are unable to verify your identity or check whether specific emails have been received, as we do not have access to your personal details here. We would, however, welcome the opportunity to review your concerns directly.

Please contact our Feedback & Resolutions Team via https://www.noodlehealth.com/contact-us/feedback and provide further details of your concerns. A member of the team will then be able to investigate this for you.

Kind regards,

The Noodle Team

This company is not honest

This company is not honest. Do not believe what they say on the waiting times page about 'under 3 months'. In my experience it has been 8 and a very quick scan of various ADHD internet forums will tell you I am far from alone with many people waiting longer. A complaint will get you fobbed off with some standard line about demand increasing. Which may well be true, but begs the question why their webpage says under 3 months. This appears to be false advertising designed to suck more customers in to their ever ballooning queue. I am starting to mistrust my diagnosis from them. They appear to be profiteering rather than caring medical professionals. Avoid at all costs!
