Awful, even though threatened with legal action, they would not retract an article. Awful news source the only person keeping it alive is the lifestyle reporter.
If they actually looked and worked towards something the Manchester evening news does they might not be as poor as they was. Still only worth 30p and not worth the time of day. Lies, propaganda, misinformation and re written articles. Arguably the worst newspaper going. Waste of time.

Keep posting the same story from days ago , there news is always very out of date ,

I have just given up trying to read articles on their mobile website, I start reading a news article and there is pop-ups, the page starts moving when adverts are loading, there are these little YouTube type videos popping up too, It just makes it impossible to try and read the actual article, So from now on I am not not even going to bother clicking on the Google Nottingham Post news links.

Stop writing articles that tell you nothing at all just for the purpose of advertising

For months we tried to get a cover story for our new business and had no luck. They are covering none Nottingham businesses but failed to cover local businesses like us. Shame on you!

I remember when the Nottingham post was 2d in the 50.s a bigger paper.

Terrible user experience trying to read something using the website. Too many ads that pop up and page refreshes. It’s an effort trying to read an article as you constantly lose your position. Actually a nauseating experience.

A pro labour media outlet,a comment on facts that don’t benefit the labour party in an un-offensive manor will still get your comments blocked “even if they are facts.”

Just rubbish.
Full of junk advertising and even more junk "news" no actual information to be found here.

I worked here for internship whilst studying at DERBY UNI in 2016.

I went in on Tuesday in a smart blouse, smart jeans & shoes. Nobody had an issue with what I was wearing. Nobody said anything. Including PETER who I had to report to. I also went into MIKE SASSI’S office to say hello to him. He said nothing to me. I think it’s important to point this out.

On the Wednesday I went in again on time with a friend who was enquiring about her internship. Again I was wearing a smart pair of dark jeans. A smart blouse. A nice pair of boots & a hat. We were waiting for work to be given us. A female who I’d never met & didn’t know came over to me. She was very confrontational saying that I couldn’t be in here dressed like that. Translated I’m intimidated by you. I’m jealous of you. So you can’t be in my newsroom. Really? Who did this woman think she was? She wasn’t Anna Wintour or Miranda Priestly. Even if she was. This kind of behaviour is never acceptable no matter what level you are at. You give respect to earn it. Then because I stood up for myself to her. In front of the whole office. She made herself & editor look unprofessional with her behaviour. I’d done nothing wrong. We didn’t know each other she was the news editor. I was a student on internship. I found out later her name was JADE BEECROFT. It’s important to point out that nothing was said to my friend who was also wearing denim style trousers. We were told by the senior lecturer KEITH PERCH on our Journalism course at Derby that we could wear jeans provided they were smart. What I was wearing was. Given that I was sat next to a male. Employed by these people. In an ill fitting creased shirt. With buttons that looked like they were about to pop off. With greasy hair who was in comparison to me scruffy & not well presented. I thought was absolute hypocrisy on their part. After she came over & had her jealous tantrum towards me. She went off. I went & sat down. I actually went to the toilets to call my husband & tell him what happened. I was still in disbelief at her behaviour as a grown woman. After her meeting JADE came back & asked to speak to me. We sat down she apologised to me & admitted she behaved badly. I just sat there said nothing. I let her speak. As to be honest I was still in shock. Her tone towards me changed again. She realised I wasn’t going to accept her apology. I don’t suffer fools gladly. I wasn’t buying her fake I’m sorry act. Then because I didn’t just lap up her apology for how she behaved. She switched back to how she was previously. I was sitting there thinking clearly you aren’t sorry. All that was an act. She then said they were terminating my internship & I couldn’t have the money back I’d paid for a day train ticket. I’d paid thirteen pounds for a train ticket to Nottingham from Chesterfield. I was on the train at 7.10am to make sure I got there on time. I was keen and willing to work. To be there for three hours.

In closing the most shocking behaviour of all was that of MIKE SASSI the editor & KEITH PERCH my lecturer at university. After this happened. I went into MIKE’S office to talk to him. He could clearly see I was upset. As I was tearful & couldn’t speak. All he said was you shouldn’t be doing this here someone might see. I don’t think anything was said to JADE by him. For her part in this. I just walked out & went home as I was absolutely astounded & disgusted. I just thought what if that was your daughter who was treated that way at her internship when she did nothing wrong? How would you feel? JADE told me in the meeting that MIKE asked who the girl was walking around in jeans & a hat. When I’d gone into his office the day before to say hello. If MIKE had such an issue with what I was wearing. As I said to him via email when I told him he had a month to refund my money & give me an explanation & apology. I also said why didn’t you get off your backside, get out of your office and have the backbone & balls to come & tell me yourself? Don’t get your little minion to do your dirty work. You’re the editor not her. It’s your newsroom not hers. She works for you. Not the the other way around. As I think people in that office were scared of JADE. As when I stood up to her everyone closed ranks on me. The atmosphere changed. It suddenly went very tense. I felt like I was public enemy No.1 for simply defending myself. As I asked another person who worked there a question. He said that I needed to ask JADE. I said I’m sorry I’m not asking her. Everyone heard me say it. The university and KEITH PERCH tried to blame me for it. I left DERBY UNI. It was discrimination, victimisation because JADE said to my friend. She could stay despite her not wearing the right clothing because she didn’t behave the way her little friend did. Meaning me. After I went to Derby Telegraph who’re in the same group. They were shocked at the behaviour. I reported MIKE & JADE to the director of the company.

Appalling publish false and inappropriate information and deserve to be sued and shut down they discriminate against those with disabilities and refuse to admit guilt.
Disgusting vile creatures

I tried reading news items via the app but the news stories are not worth reading. An example is someone complained that the very cheap trainers that they received for their son were not new. Not only was the story online but a picture of the people and trainers was shown, How is this a news story?..
App now deleted.

Not a good site at all. Lots of ads, horrible user experience.
