I can honestly say all the best about the whole experience, everyone was so welcoming, understanding, sooo kind, very friendly, especially the girl named Sema, She is such a cute and welcoming person she literally radiates positive energy. She talked me thru everything, and She is soooo pretty and cute.The surgion honestly shocked me, why you may ask? Well I thought he would be Like any other doctor, serious, I thought he wont even see his patients nor Talk to them but on my suprise he came to my room multiple times to check on me, than when everything was almost Done he came again to take pictures with us, to Talk to us, to reasurre us that everything will be Okey. He showed us many accounts of people who he operated on that Are now a whole different person. He was so positive about everything yet so Professional. He was so easy to Talk to unlike other experience I had with other doctors, I felt Like we were long-lost friends that found eachother again. I was delighted honestly. What also suprised me was how good and balanced the organisation was.They thought about every single detail. I had everything I needed and they provided me with great accommodation. Honestly I will recommend them to every single person I know that struggles with obesity. I can say only the best and I am so thankfull to everyone that became part of my new life, new me.

I had my bariatric surgery at Novemed Bariatric Centre, and my overall experience was very positive. The surgeon Dr. Necdet Derici ,dietitian, translator, and all hospital staff were professional and supportive throughout.
Special thanks to the lady nurses, who was very kind and attentive. My wound healed well, and I felt cared for every step of the way.
A big appreciation for dietitian Sumeyra – she has been extremely helpful, even now, post-surgery. She replies to my messages and supports me with my nutrition needs.
The only minor issue I had was a miscommunication about the payment, but I managed because I had some extra money with me. I also felt the protein powder was a bit expensive, but that's a small thing compared to the overall care.

I travelled alone for this surgery, which was a big decision, but the hospital staff made me feel safe, respected, and supported. I would definitely recommend Novemed to others considering bariatric surgery.

I would always recommend Novemed, the service from even days before the arrival was absolutely amazing! They had everything well prepared, very professional before the surgery they made me feel very comfortable and like home, on the other side the Dietitian Sema she was absolutely professional, kind, caring, explained everything so well, and was always there to help! I had my VSG at Novemed and I’m glad I did. I think they don’t get enough publicity that they deserve so I will quickly drop a 5star rating for them. The staff Sema, Damla, Oliver and the Doctors were very kind and helpful. I didn’t even go with a relative but they made me feel at home. Language barrier wasn’t much of a concern as there’s always someone to interpret. Kudos to all of you. Keep it up. I recommend 100%.

I had a great Experience since the first step of the consultation till the discharge day. Amazing help clear information. Professional support as such as dietitian Sema from novemed were amazingly professional and insightful.

Had a surgery there 1 week ago today, everything was precisely organised by them, except for the flight all was included in the package, from transports between airport, hospital and hotel, the hotel itself (4 stars!) and the hospital itself as a translator assisted me all way long from my arrival to my departure, through the multiple tests needed to be completed pre-op, and also discussion post op and instructions from nurses, questions I had etc. They also provided with all medicines required for the for the 3 months following the op (aside from multi-vitamins). I feel they sold the package a bit too shiny, as in, it is a surgery and it will include feeling really bad the very first day, soreness, etc. They did not promote that aspect or were a bit too careful to discuss around the harsh reality of it BUT they stayed very professional, accompanying every step of the journey and answering every questions I may have in a very timely manner... and even very friendly, interested and good hearted. Seeing how busy the hospital is with this type of surgery, and the amount of patients going through this, I was afraid to have an impersonal contact, but it was not the case at all, and I felt cared for, humanly speaking.
After leaving the hospital and the country, the follow up is great too as I am in touch with the team advising on diet recipes and steps toward recovery... They are still here and helping me in a caring way, it feels great - and reassuring a lot!

I'd recommend Novemed to anyone looking for going through Bariatric surgery in an effective way.

From the first day I contacted them to the very last day after my surgery the whole team were very kind and very helpful. The surgeon was very attentive and kind. My dietitian Sumeyra has been so helpful that she is checking in with me on a regular basis. I can contact her directly and ask questions whenever I need information. Beautiful hospital, spotlessly clean. My dietician, Claire, met me at the door and was by my side from start to finish. She really made the experience alot easier. The staff at the hospital are so nice and very attentive. A very good experience from start to finish.

On 18.03 I had my gastric sleeve surgery with Novemed. Sema was with me throughout the day supporting me and helping out with everything I needed. She is a lovely lady and me and my mum felt very welcome from the team especially from Sema and Claire. Thank you very much girls and not last Dr Necdet for looking after me!

I'm Blessing Jessy onum Ahmed, It's been just over 3 months since I had my weight loss surgery dec 13th 2024, and the experience has been life changing so far. I have lost 30kg from initial 130kg with more to go. The support from my diet team has been wonderful too. Special appreciation to them and also to Sema in particular. I was thinking about this for ages but always talked myself out of it. I eventually decided to take the plunge. The weight has fallen off me. Following the advice of my dietician Sumeyra it’s been hard but a necessary step. I had bad eating habits which she helped me get over and I’m glad I did it

From the moment I got in contact with novemed the team (Damla) were great and quick to respond to any queries I had.

Communication was great the novemed team all speak excellent English.

I have lost 18kg in 5 weeks.

When you land you are collected outside the airport by a representative and then taken to your 'private transfer' mine was a huge 12 seater bus, wasn't quite as executive as I was expecting but it was okay for a 40 min journey.

After that a single night stay in a nice hotel then collected the following morning, met with Claire from novemed and she took me around for all different sorts of tests done (I recommend shaving your chest/belly beforehand if your hairy like me as the ECG stickers hurt to peel off)

Then it was to the hospital room to get changed and then down to the operating theater this took around 3/4 hours from arriving at the hospital, the surgery took around 30 mins and I was awake within 1 hour, I woke up and was not in a good way but then I got given some morphine and life was good again, the only real pain I had was the feeling from the endoscope and from not being able to drink water for a little while. The nurses at the hospital are great although some of them couldn't speak a lot of English but enough to know to let you know what's happening.
The first day after surgery was a blur as I was on enough painkillers to sedate elephant (not complaining was quite good)
After the hospital stay it's back to the hospital with all meds and information needed for flights and your own GP. The hotel stay was really boring as I couldn't really do anything, the room was okay but the hotel itself was really warm.

Transferred back to the airport and fly home, didn't have much pain on the flight home and did drive 1 hour from Manchester airport to my home and that felt fine.

The first 2 weeks at home were horrible due to liquid only diet but you get used it.

Special mention to Sumeyra as she is always available if I have any questions and is an asset to the Novemed team.
