I have the operation just over a week ago. Everything from the transfers from the airport to the transfer back to the airport 6 days later was good. Hotel was clean, hospital was new and clean, staff were attentive and the people who you deal with on WhatsApp were great. Obviously im only a week into the post op communication regarding the diet etc but so far so good.

From the moment I walked through the doors and was met by Claire and the social media team I felt comfortable and relaxed, Claire went through everything with me and explained everything in detail and always with a smile, she is an asset to the company.
Even going through all the pre op procedures it was so quick and well explained, the doctors and nurses all were excellent and very professional, the post op aftercare was unbelievable and again the staff all couldn't do enough for me, fantastic experience from start to finish and would highly recommend them to anyone looking at doing this.

I had the gastric balloon. Everything went very well and easy. Sema was very sweet and explained everything very well. Clinic was clean and staff was kind. Definitely recommend.

I had my surgery at the end of August - I am now 4 months post op and lost nearly 2st. Overall feel happier and more confident in my skin. Already dropped to a size 10. I’m only 5ft 1 so was carrying a lot of weight on my middle.

I wanted to write my review as there has been some negative things being said about Novemed but I am very happy with my experience. I paid my deposit in advance and then paid my remaining balance prior to the surgery on a credit card. Surgery went smoothly and I recovered well albeit lacking energy and in pain. I was happy to get back to the hotel and walking around. When I got the flight home I walked around the airport and didn’t book assistance that’s how well I was feeling but that point.

We have to remember this is a paid service and they require payment for the services and spaces they provide. It will not always work out well for everyone sadly. But I can vouch for them on my behalf and my life has improved massively. Thank you Novemed.

Absolutely shocking. Had test done ecg X-ray and scan. To find due to a previous miscarriage I had small blood remains. They refused me surgery knowing there is no baby. I have scan reports of no baby they made me pay an extra £300 for me to prove there is no baby. For them to come back and say no sorry we can’t do it. Then to say i can come back in a month (unable due to children commitments) I asked for a refund which they offered me £1100 when I payed £3000 plus £800 in flights. They are a scam I really wouldn’t even entertain them. I’m discusted. A waisted trip to turkey for them to take all that money and do no work!!!

Prior to choosing this clinic , i had drawn up and researched about 7 clinics in turkey , i looked at the pros and cons based on information online and customer service received during my enquiry . I am happy with my choice, From the moment i reached out to them, tilll after my surgery i felt reassured i was in safe hands . Its been 2 weeks since my gastric sleeve surgery and i am back to canada , they have been resposive in the whatapp group chat created for me and have provided me with every information needed so far . The interpreter at the clinic is Gods sent as she made everything easier for me , she is very friendly and did not make me feel like i was in a strange land . The hotel i was put in was one of the most beautiful hotels i have been to (Wanda Vista). The hospital is very hygenic and the nurses were nice and professional aswell , even though the language barrier was there , as long as you press the on call button they came over to your room to offer assistance regardless of the time of day or night. I was in a bit of pain for the first 2 days after surgery but on the 3rd day i was fit as fiddle . I hope they continue to maintain the standard.

Das gesamte Team war vertrauensvoll und freundlich. Die Magen OP verlief problemlos mit einem guten Ergebnis. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit der Nachsorge in der Klinik. Ich kann das gesamte Team und den Arzt sehr empfehlen.

Ich habe am 23.12. meine Gastric OP gehabt. Der Ablauf war reibungslos. Die Op verlief sehr gut und auch die Nachsorge war angenehm. Ich bedanke mich bei allen ganz herzlich. Ich freue mich, auf alles was jetzt kommt. Viele Grüße an das ganze Team.

Very good amazing staff made it very comfortable through a hard journey would 100% recommend

After a long trip from NZ on my own for Gastric Sleeve I was apprehensive about what to expect but have been so impressed with the respect, support and guidance I have received from the team at Novemed and the staff at the hospital. Everything was taken care of for me from the moment I was picked up at airport.Claire the dietician is a delight and I 100% recommend the Novemed team.

I recently done the gastric sleeve surgery and the staff and surgeon (Dr Necdet) was very good and professional. Dietitian Claire and Sema were very helpful and always respond to me straight away. Sema gave me a breakdown of my diet after surgery week by week and even provided me with receipts that were really helpful. This team was amazing!! Definitely recommend!!!

Staff were excellent from the point of booking to the after care from the dieticians weeks after the surgery. Lovely modern well equipped hospital. Nurses on the ward were very attentive. Special thanks to Claire who was by my side from the moment I stepped into the hospital until I left.

Hello my name is Kimberly Manuel and I am from New Zealand in September this year I travelled with Arrianna’s Assistance tour group to Turkey for gastric sleeve surgery…my whole experience while at the BHS hospital was absolutely amazing from the time we hit the hospital doors right up to the day we checked out my dietitian Sema from November was just so amazing she made me feel so comfortable because I was so nervous with the whole being in another country and not knowing anyone but my travel group…I am so grateful to her, she was such a pleasant young lady her support through the whole process was incredible and I wil be forever grateful to her thank you so much Sema 🙏

Booked with Novemed as I knew a few people who had been through Novemed. Was skeptical using WhatsApp as Nz this is not common however this is their form of communication. Can not fault their communication everything was clear to me what to expect and if it wasn’t I could easily clarify through messaging them.
Arrived in turkey they had someone there whose job was to organise taxis specifically for Novemed.
Hotel was very flash only issues was early morning arrival had no room for us to early check in. This was a slight inconvenience after flying for 21 hours. My companion had buffet breakfasts everyday at the hospital (3 days) all included.
Hospital process
Well oiled machine there is a translator/coordinator who takes u through every step of the pre op tests so you are never alone.
Staff are all friendly and thorough despite language barrier. Just like any hospital they are in all the time doing obs or whatever post op care is needed. Recommend the translator app to communicate if uncomfortable or want to clarify anything.
Surgeon said about 5 words to me twice after he visited. did not talk much or say how it all went which I thought was a bit odd as I heard others experience has been different. However I am abit relaxed and have the view no news is good news.
If you are that way inclined I suggest asking all the questions you need to before they walk out the door ( very busy people )
Post op my dieticians have been amazing and are easily contactable ( Sema and sumerya)
My companion was well looked after also food provided at hospital. My partner was not keen on the food and was able to go out and get his own.
It is very doable to literally spend very little money over there with this package as everything is included obviously not including other excursions.

I had a wonderful experience with Novemed,the doctor was experienced,I felt a huge pain after the surgery but the staffs followed me up and before I could know what was happening, the pains went after few days before I left the hospital, the nurses are lovely, the hospital was neat no smell at all,I love myself each day that passes by,I'll return back to Novemed in future,I say a massive thank you to all of them.

I recently had my gastric sleeve surgery with Novemed, and although my journey started off a bit rocky due to a lack of communication regarding the hotel accommodation, once I arrived at the hospital, everything changed for the better.

I was warmly greeted by the wonderful dietician, Sema, who truly made a huge difference in my experience. She translated everything for me and was by my side through every step of the process. Sema’s kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism were comforting and reassuring. Even now, months later, she still checks up on me and offers encouragement, which has been keeping me motivated throughout my recovery. I can’t thank her enough for making the experience seamless and stress-free.

Dr. Derici, the surgeon, was amazing. He took the time to meet me before the surgery, making sure I felt comfortable, and he checked on me multiple times after the procedure. His caring and personable approach really put me at ease.

The nursing staff was equally incredible. After waking up from the surgery, the nurses were there every 20 to 30 minutes to check on me. They were attentive, helpful, and always had a friendly attitude. Thanks to them, I didn’t feel nervous at all before or after the surgery.

Overall, my experience with Novemed was fantastic. I’m so grateful for the care provided by Sema, Dr. Derici, and the amazing team of nurses. They made the whole process smooth, and I would highly recommend Novemed to anyone considering this procedure!

Je partage mon expérience après avoir fait une sleeve chez NOVEMED en Turquie le 6 décembre 2024, et franchement, je suis ravie de mon choix ! Dès mon arrivée, tout a été parfaitement organisé. On m’a récupérée à l’aéroport avec beaucoup de professionnalisme, et tout m’a été expliqué très simplement, ce qui m’a mise en confiance.

J’ai été logée dans un hôtel 5 étoiles absolument magnifique, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le deuxième jour, on est venu me chercher pour l’intervention, et tout s’est déroulé à merveille. J’ai été accompagnée à chaque étape, de A à Z, pour tous mes examens jusqu’à la salle opératoire.

Je tiens à remercier particulièrement la diététicienne Sema Karasu, qui a été à mes côtés tout au long de cette aventure. Elle m’a beaucoup rassurée avec ses conseils et son soutien. Un immense merci également au chirurgien Dr Necdet Derici, qui a été exceptionnel : il passait tous les jours pendant ma convalescence pour faire le point sur mon état de santé, montrant un grand professionnalisme et une attention particulière.

Même après mon retour en Suisse, je continue d’être suivie par l’équipe de NOVEMED, ce qui est vraiment rassurant. Leur accompagnement ne s’arrête pas après l’intervention, et cela montre leur sérieux et leur dévouement.

Le personnel médical, les infirmières, tout le corps médical étaient d’une gentillesse et d’un grand soutien. Franchement, je recommande NOVEMED à 100 % ! Si vous envisagez de faire une sleeve, n’hésitez pas, vous serez entre de très bonnes mains.

From the first conversation with Novemed I was taken by how professional, courteous and warm it felt.
From choosing procedures based on my wants and what was best, setting dates, and preparation before travel there was complete communication and guidance.
On arrival my experience would only continue to get better. I had premium travel from the airport to a beautiful hotel with excellent service where the staff were accustomed to patrons there for medical procedures which instantly made me feel at ease.
Once my day arrived for consult even further did I feel the hospitality of Turkey when I met my care team and Doctor.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful people at Novemed. The great work Dr. Dohar did, he took special consideration and time with me that made me feel safe in his hands. Warmest appreciation for my care nurse Zeynep that made every transition smooth and also felt like I was being taken care of by family. The entire time every little bit of worry or concern I had was addressed simply because their standard was to do things right.
Special mentions to the hospital staff who ran like clockwork. A special place in my heart goes to the two wonderful older ladies that took care of me.
Traveling from the USA to Turkey for my procedures was the best decision I could have made.
So happy with my choice and would do it all over again!!

I have used novemed twice now
The first time for a gastric sleeve and the second time for a fdl tummy tuck 360 lift and liposuction
Both Sheila and zeynep have both been wonderful and the communication has been great
I met zeynep on this visit and must say that she really helped especially with my anxiety and nerves
I honestly can not fault this company

Great support from staff.For efficient communication one needs to have a language translator app since most people can not communicate in English
