Thank you kindly to the wonderful support team inclusive of (but not limited to) dietitians, medical staff, surgeon/doctors who all made me feel comfortable and confident in their service by listening to my needs and being extra helpful. They were friendly, supportive, and caring. The surgeon was very approachable and sincere.

Had my gastric sleeve surgery done with NoveMed. I came to Turkey by myself but was taken care straight away by lovely Elif who was there for me by my side all the time. Her kidness and help she offered was priceless!. Operation went well and now two days after I am recovering in hotel before my flight to UK. I hope that back in UK following the diet and nutrition plan I will get where I need to get.

Book was easy and the whole operation from start to finish was organised very well. Hotel was very nice, the Hospital was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Would highly recommend and would use again if was having another medical procedure had a 12 month gastric ballon fitted October 2022 and went back October 2023 to have removed, would like to say rosa was very helpful from start to finish, I was looked after very well by the medical staff also the whole experience was very organised. Thank you all at Novemed.

Doing the bariatric surgery with Novemed was one of the best decisions I ever made.
The team was very nice, they explained everything carefully and they made me feel at home. The hospital is great as well as the staff and they always treated me kindly. The surgeon was also great and really friendly. I totally recommend them 😄

Cannot recommend NOVEMED enough. From the very beginning of booking the surgery (Gastric sleeve) to the aftercare, the whole team have been amazing. So attentive and reassuring. Especially Sena who looked after me when I arrived and took me for my pre op checks. She made me feel at ease and is amazing at her job! Such a lovely team <3
My surgeon was great and checked on me daily at hospital and nurses were all very attentive and efficient.

Great service and professional staff. I contacted 7 clinics to inquire about gastric sleeve surgery. Novomed offer was the 3rd cheapest, however they were the most professional looking organization, thus I decided for their services over the cheaper ones.

All my questions were clearly answered during each step of the process. The hospital itself seemed well equipped and clean.

My only suggestion is to buy google chromecasts/roku or whatever for the TV’s, to enable patients to watch YouTube or Netflix while recovering.

I had my gastric sleeve sleeve with novemed and couldn’t have gone any better. The team were brilliant and communication was great. I had my surgery with dr. Muhammad ucuncu and ensure I knew everything that was going on and checked on me after the surgery a few times. The transfers were always on time and the hotel and hospital stay was absolutely amazing. Would recommend to anyone - I was nervous at first but now going through it I was nervous for nothing 😊

The process was simple from start to finish. Upon booking I had regular communication with the team and access to support groups. The surgery was done no complications and the aftercare was brilliant. I had pain relief when needed and support from the team throughout each day at the hospital. Thank you for changing my life.

I had my vsg surgery through Novemed and had the Op done by Dr Necdet Derici (pronounced "Nej-det Deri-ji"). It was smooth and would recommend anyone looking to get this done. I was nervous but if I be honest the surgery was done before I knew what had happened. VIP treatment better than what I've experienced in nhs UK. I am now 2 weeks post op and 13lbs down. In tota fro the pre-op diet I've lost 40lbs. You have a chance to change your life for the better.. do it!

I am leaving this review for those who are debating doing a gastric sleeve or bypass and are not 100% sure. I went to do my gastric sleeve in December of last year. I went to Novomed in Istanbul. Best decision of my life by far!!! The whole process from beginning (conversations through whatsapp) to the procedure, aftercare … was very professionally done and made me feel at ease and well informed. I would highly recommend NOVOMED.

My experience with Novemed was truly amazing. Everything was so easy to organize thanks to Damla, who made everything so easy for me. The team that took care of me was extremley professional and informative.
I was feeling comfortable before and post the procedure,team is so friendly and organized. Doctor Necdet performed my surgery and he did an amazing job. I would like to also mention Ersan who was helping me even when I moved to hotel and realized I forgot to buy shakes,and he organized hotel stuff to bring me soup in my room, I was speechless, he is amazing and I will never forget that.I travelled alone and I was only asking for help on the airport when I was going home,everything else was arranged from them. You feel safe from the beginning until the end.
The aftercare team is great, specially thanks to Sumeyra,Büke and Sheila. You get all information that you need,you can ask them advices and consult about your diet. I also want to say thank you to the girl that was all the time with me before operation and helping me and translating everything for me, I was so calm and without any worries. Whatever you need help with, you can count on the team and great medical stuff.I would highly recommend the Novemed team. Thank you for giving me the tool that is changing my life day by day.

I wanted to share my experience as going to Istanbul was a big step for me on my own let alone have major gastric surgery.
But one month down the road I can honestly say that my experience was a pleasant one. Being picked up at the airport and taken to my hotel the instructions were clear, to the explanation of the procedure and pre checks and my very well spoken English young lady who explained everything to me at the hospital.
The op itself went very well and the couple of days you spend in the hospital you receive good care, yes a little bit of confusion with the language but you kind of know what is happening with checks, pain relief etc it was ok we got by with the help of hand gestures and Google!
The hotel I went to first I didn’t like very much I told Oliver my WhatsApp guy I had liaised with from my first enquiry and he arranged for me to go into another hotel, nothing was too much trouble and I was very happy with the second hotel, the lift back to the airport was on time and nothing but top quality transport used.
After care - any time I’ve had a question the dietitian is on the end of the phone to help and I get dietary advice for all the stages of my journey.

I had bariatric surgery with Novemed in August 2023. From start to finish, you are in great hands. From being picked up at the airport to the day of the surgery and after, the level of care is incredible. I travelled alone but there was absolutely no need for a companion because I was so well looked after. The hotel was fabulous and the hospital is state of the art- it’s so clean. Having your own comfortable private room makes the experience so much easier. The nurses are all very attentive and I was never left in any discomfort. The communication before and after and since I’ve come home has been excellent. Everyone is friendly and professional. You receive support on every single part of the journey. Can’t recommend enough 😊

I must say all the horror stories you hear hear about surgery abroad think again. There is no way the NHS look after you the way they did in Turkey.

I just got back from having a gastric balloon done and I can honestly say I was taken very good care of by all of the team. From the minute I arrived til I left. I was made to feel welcome and everything was explained well to me. I’ve had a lot of good communication and follow-up via WhatsApp too. I would highly recommend!

I'm from Slovenia, I found out about novamed through the tik tok application, I sent them a message on whatsapp and I immediately got a reply back, friendly and professional Rossa answered every question I had, then they added me to a group with dieticians where they explained to me what kind of diet I should have before and after the operation when we arrived in Istanbul we were given a beautiful hotel the next morning the driver picked us up and took us to the hospital in the hospital I was met by 2 dietitians they were very kind I had examinations and soon after the operation everything went perfectly well the nurses they were super friendly, the language was not a barrier, all in all an excellent and easy experience, I recommend it

I’m writing this review on behalf of my daughter, as she’s only 18 and very shy at doing things herself (still my baby). After years of battling her weight though out her teenage years she wasn’t happy with her weight. We’ve tried all different diet etc. surgery was the last option for her. October 2022 I flew her out with my sister to have the gastric sleeve done (both of them had it done together) with Novemed. Staff are amazing and very lovely, Rosa our coordinator is a lovely lady, always happy to answer any questions we had even if it was 10pm she still message back straight away. Thank you Novemed my daughter now has her life back and loving her life. We will be back out for plastic surgery soon 😊
