Working from home I found myself in need of an office chair that would hold up to daily use and my weight. If you find yourself in my shoes you have no doubt found there isn't a lot to choose from. At least, not from the standard online retailers. Outside of those normal retail markets, I find most things pretty sketchy. You'll be relieved to know that OfficeChairs USA is backed up by a real US-based retail location. The chat support was quick and knowledgeable and I had a product and configuration picked out in about ten minutes. Checkout and payment was hassle-free and shipping was quick. I love my new chair!

Good morning George and my personal apologies for the challenges this order spun off. We appreciate that you are sharing your experience.

While it is not what we call 'typical' (the on and off again communication) for the Safco group who imported and shipped your table, it does surface here and there and its something they are working on. This incident has been shared with them. We hope this helps make them a better operation. This also reminds our own team that we need to sharpen our own communication tools with them and not to simply trust that this factory always follows through. In their defense of course they did see a wave of Covid-19 infections sweep through their factory and shipping hubs like so may others. As you know this so strains any channel of communication.

Easy to Assemble and Impressive Look

Chair arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble. The seat has 4 glue (?) spots I have not tried to remove yet. It is imbedded in the cloth so I need make sure it does not damage or tear the material. Adjusting the seat and back takes time since it is a preference. But so far my hips don’t hurt, which is great!

Love this chair, arrived in great condition and was easy to assemble. I like that the arm rests are adjustable, and the back support feels good!

Absolutely the best office chair I have ever had. Helps so much with my herniated disc issue and hip/knee arthritis. Cant believe I found you! Highly recommend.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. save yourself the pain and order from elsewhere. my order came three months after paying because the factory was out of the colour i paid for, which is not a great start, but fine otherwise, but then no updates on delivery whatsoever. and when the day finally arrived, of course i was out of town. tried coordinating with customer service to have the package held but slow in response. was promised that the package would not be delivered without my signature which was an outright lie. package was delivered, had to go through hoops to get it in safe hands, asked customer service for help in figuring out solutions and all they said was "sorry can't help you." absolutely useless twits running this joke of a business.

Eleena good morning. So sorry that you were so disillusioned with your ordering process. After reviewing the order history and internal notes that included e-mails out to you we did stay very much on forecast in terms of time with that one exception that caused a delay in terms of the container being held at the port. Quite honestly this factor is well beyond our control as you could imagine. Notes do show that we gave you a heads up on this.

Patrick your account rep also pointed out that this HAG Capisco, which we special ordered for you in a special upholstery from Norway and Pat was explicit in terms of pointing out that this could take up to 90 days to source. We feel that you were completely informed from start to finish.

Eleena we are a rare company in that we still answer our phones live an in person each workday unless there is a line overflow. Your inference that we would say 'sorry we cannot help you' is just not something in our vernacular. Was this perhaps your experience with FedEx who did seem to delay the process of the delivery after it hit the port? That is not who we are or what we would ever do. We do get your frustration being mainly triggered from the carriers but we do take exception to be called 'twits' and are saddened that you would infer this.

I ordered wrong, we got it fixed!

Somehow we bought the wrong sized table; Office Chairs recommended replacing the top rather than pay high return fees and delaying our office from having use of this top in the meantime. It was a great idea. The shipment was delayed longer than anticipated, only reason not a 5 star, but it was the holidays so I'm very happy with this company and their support.

The entire experience was pretty easy

The entire experience was pretty easy. The website had explanatory text to indicate when my product would be available to ship and a delivery estimate that overrode the pre-covid expectations. Every time there was a status update on my shipment, I got a notification. I didn’t have to contact anyone, but I get the feeling that I would have gotten great customer service, based on the attentiveness to proactive communication. In fact, the only reason I had to dock a star was because they used FedEx to deliver. FedEx changed the delivery date twice, both times AFTER they exceeded the original expected date. For a small box that’s less of an issue than an office chair, so it is fairly important to have some idea of when it would arrive. My previous experiences with FedEx made me worry that I was going to have a bigger problem, but my chair finally came after two delays. FedEx is the worst, and I would gladly have paid extra to ensure that a competent carrier handled my shipment. Other than this, the entire experience of buying an office chair was great!

They delivered as promised.

The folks at OfficeChairs USA did a great job filling this late, holiday order for us. The chair we ordered was rather a custom one, yet it arrived, as promised, in good time and well packaged. The quality was as described: robust construction and sized to fit our petit daughter, who needed it for her home office. I was impressed by the correspondence from their Manager for E-Commerce, who was truthful and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend OfficeChairs USA to anyone needing office furniture, they did a great job for us!

Chair was too small for my tall grandson. The stated return policy was not to my satisfaction but Office Chairs worked with me to reach a satisfactory agreement. They were respectful and courteous throughout the process.
