Prices are after going up!!
Hi all,
I have purchased a few items from this company last year, (12 months ago) a set of car mats for hyundai tucson 2020 and a boot mat aswell, all in carpet!!
There lovely and well made and good value at the time,
But i I have noticed in the last few months that they've prices have gone up alot ,nearly €30 up per item, was thinking of getting a new set of mats but I'll have to think again too expensive!!

Good afternoon as a Genuine British manufacturer, we face many economic factors in terms of rising costs for materials and staffing levels, in order to be able to keep offering the 5 star qualities the service we offer, we have had to have a small price increase in 2025, the 1st price increase we have had in over 10 year's, this is only on a select number of the multiple qualities we have on offer, rather than reduce the qualities supplied. We are proud that we also still remain one of the most competitive direct to door manufacturers for car mats for like for like comparisons, we also have many special offers in place and offers coming up in the near future.
Not Recommended!!! - Took longer than the 3-5 day promise, Quality not as good as I expected, Clips fitted wrongly, had to refit myself!
I ordered after working hours on the 1st October. after I phoned to find out what was happening they "expedited" the order and they were dispatched on the 13th October. and have arrived on the 14th October. So this was 7 or 8 working days rather than the quoted 3-5 days to dispatch. The lady I spoke to, was quite dismissive, and seemed to think that the fact that they used 24h delivery made it all OK.
Bearing in mind I purchased the "Prestige" mats, described as the "Bee-Knees" of mats, I was quite disappointed with the quality, certainly not comparable with OEM from Porsche or Jaguar.
Also the fitting clips were 90 degrees out compared to what is fitted in the car. They tell me that this is a known problem with MG cars! So if that is the case? why don't they put a note in with the mats so that you don't have to waste your time and theirs phoning to complain and then be given instructions how to remove and refit the clips correctly yourself.
The fit seems to be slightly out compared to the shape of the space, and the mats are slightly raised in the middle. however there is quite a bit of leeway in re-fitting the clips so they might "settle" if not they will have to go back!
All in all not an experience I'd like to repeat!

Good afternoon - We are sorry the mat was late - our production lead time is 3-5 days and the delivery up to 3 days - when your mat production was late we upgraded the delivery to 24 hour, however we apologise that when you received your order it was a day late, this is not something that is usual a you can see from our other many 5 start reviews. I was sat with the customer service representative and feel she was informative, apologetic, actioned the issue, upgraded to the 24 hour delivery to ensure no further delays, rather than dismissive.
Regarding the clips in the mats, as discussed, MG cars can have pegs in different orientation, this is very few and far between and for sustainability, we would rather have a human on the other end of the phone and e-mail to discuss any issues you are having, again these are very few and far between but we are here to help and was available immediately when you contacted us.
Regarding the quality of the mats, the Prestige is a "wool effect" Prestige fabric which is one of the highest grades of carpets available for after market carpet supply, not comparable to any tufted of velour fabrics available as OEM from Porsche or Jaguar which are much difference in price. As also discussed, if you are unhappy with the mat in any way, you may return for a full refund, as within your rights, as it is extremely rare in all our 30 year's trading for a customer to be unhappy with our production, communication, quality and service which we can only apologise for.
Highly recommend
Received my car mats today, embroided and it took them 4 days from order to delivery!!! Great service, product is amazing and the mats have gone straight in. All for a very reasonable price! Highly recommend

AVOID THESE CROOKS
Had a nightmare dealing with this company. Ordered some car mats which was clearly listed as suitable for my car once number plate was entered.
Surely you cant get it wrong if I've entered my reg. If this feature on the site isn't fit for purpose it shouldn't be there.
Upon contacting the company was spoken to rudely and blamed for the mistake. On challenging and even sending in proof that I had just followed the site to order the mats and sent a clear screen shot of where the website had said these mats are suitable for your vehicle.
Sent back back the wrong mats at my own cost then received a new set which should have been the right ones yet again they didn't fit.
Disgusting attitude and appealing customer service.
After 4 weeks of back and forward I'm £12 down and no mats that fit.
And telling a customer you make hundreds of mats and only mine have been wrong isn't a valid excuse to mess up an order.
Avoid this company.

Good afternoon - With your initial order, your vehicle is on a change over, you had ordered the wrong year range for your model, the model options for your vehicle was listed when using your registration finder but not the one selected as you ordered the up to 2012 model and not the 2012 on - We sent the screen shot to show you this was the option that also came up - we offered a free of charge replacement for you and explained the return would be at your cost, as per our terms and conditions. when you were unhappy with the mat, we sent over a free of charge returns link for Roya Mail which was not used. We have been polite and informative at every step of the way with the multiple phone calls and e-mails to multiple members of our team, all of which had the same conversation and same experience. each one clearly stating the policy and offering this free replacement and then sending you a free of charge returns label, we sent a free of charge returns label and refunded the total cost of the mat,

Beware official car mats use Evri to…
Beware official car mats use Evri to lose their parcels, so I never got my mats and am still waiting for a refund.
Total waste of my time, many emails sent before it was accepted Evri lost the parcel.
Save yourself some time and buy from someone who will get car mats to you.

Good afternoon - I am sorry you felt the need to leave us a 1 star review for our service when it is Evri you have the issue with with . We despatched your order within the advertsied lead time (earlier) and upon immediate despatch you contacted us to say your order was lost/stolen all though the parcel had only just been scanned, you requested an immediate refund when the mat had only just been despatched. A day later you added a parcel shop divert, We explained the delivery time frame of parcel shop diverted. we kept in contact with you and at your request (due to you stating that Evri steal all parcels and do not deliver to Leeds) as requested, we arranged a stop and return of your order (we would not refund the order and allow it to be still delivered, i am sure you can appreciate that. The refund was actioned immediately on the same day, when that arrives with your card issuer can take a couple of days - I forwarded to you the refund notification reference and the day the refund was issued to your e-mail.

Beware of their delivery Service!!
Company is great but they choose to use a notoriously dodgy delivery company which resulted in the delivery company failing to deliver my mats over 4 days finally delivering on the 5th day they had it. The delivery company would send me multiple emails a day saying it was coming and it didn’t. I wouldn’t use this car mat company again because they choose to use such an awful delivery company probably to save on costs. I would happily have paid for delivery if they used a better company. I ordered my mats end of August and didn’t receive them until the 9th of September.

Good morning, please accept our apologise on behalf of Evri who were unable to delivery on the days they set out, from looking at the tracking, it was very late at night and out of time, with the advertised production lead time and advertsied delivery time, I can see the order was processed and delivered to you still within the lead times we advertise on line. We are hope you are happy with your mats. With all the thousands of different sizes and shapes of mats, from our experience Evri are the most successful at processing our deliveries for us, with us having a higher positive % of deliveries being made that other couriers we have used previously and without us having to pass on any delivery charges over the the customers.
Easy and Fast!
Very easy ordering process with multiple options of colours and customisations. I went for black on black in the Classic Velour. The mats fit perfectly in our Hyundai Tucson. Delivery was super quick.
I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend buying from Officialcarmats.
