Just wrapped up a Forefront VR session and the Asset performed flawlessly. Hands down the best gun stock I’ve ever used. It’s boosted my aim, tightened my shots, and the overall design is just awesome. The sights are dead‑on right out of the box—no adjustments needed at all. I ran it on the Pimax Crystal Super controller for the first time and it feels fantastic.

If you’re looking for a gun stock that actually improves your gameplay and feels premium in every way, this is the one.

I don’t usually write reviews, but at this point I feel like not sharing my experience would be doing myself a disservice.

To start on a positive note: customer support was communicative whenever I reached out, and I do want to be clear that not everything that happened was Olen VR’s fault. My local USPS office did make an error, and I acknowledge that.

That said, the overall experience was one issue after another.

I placed my order on December 31. At the time, the website stated fulfillment was 1–3 business days. After 7 business days, I reached out and was told fulfillment was actually 10–14 business days. While delays happen, it would have been helpful if the website had been updated to reflect this. I accepted the explanation and waited. My order ultimately did not ship until January 29.

Before it shipped, I checked in again and was informed that one of my items was backordered. I was offered the option to have the available items shipped immediately and the rest sent later. I agreed to this, but despite that offer, nothing was sent until all items were available. This was frustrating, especially after being given the option.

Once the package finally shipped, it reached my local post office, where USPS marked it “return to sender” due to an address issue. I want to be very clear: this was not Olen VR’s fault. They did make an effort to contact USPS and try to resolve the issue, which I appreciated.

Where the experience fell apart for me was how things were handled afterward. I was told that once Olen VR received the returned package, they could resend it. This meant waiting for the package to return to them (potentially a week or more) and then waiting again for it to be reshipped. Given the long delays already, this felt unnecessary, especially since the product was clearly being returned to them.

At that point, I asked about a refund instead. I was told that a refund could not even be processed until they physically received the returned package. While I was told—very clearly—that the situation was “not my responsibility,” it effectively felt like it was, since I never received the product and yet my refund depended entirely on the return making it back to them.

If the package were delayed or lost in return, I would be left without the product and without my money—something I never physically received. That disconnect is what ultimately made me give up on the order.

What really disappointed me was that I had high hopes for this product, and due to how everything unfolded, I never even got the chance to try it.

I’m not saying “don’t buy from Olen VR.” They may very well make a great product. Unfortunately, I’ll never know, because the overall experience—from fulfillment delays to resolution—left me fully over it.

I bought the Spine gunstock from OlenVR.com
My gunstock arrived and I unpacked and assembled it. The Attachment points for the sling were malformed and the push-button fastener wouldn't stay slotted in, it kept falling out.
I reached out to the company about this and they agreed that it was a manufacturing error, a bad print.
They offered a replacement part but wouldn't cover shipping. Worth noting is that I live in the EU and paid an extra tax on entry, about $50 on top of the shipping ($30). The replacement part would cost me an additional ~$80. On a 3D-printed item costing $99.

I asked about this, why I was being punished for their lax quality control.
Their answers was that this was their warranty. If I wanted to return the original purchase, I again had to pay shipping. On arrival they would also deduct a $15 "restocking fee".
In the warranty it states:
"Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right."

I don't feel that their handling of this is anywhere near "right".
Keep this in mind if you are going to order from them, hope that they ship a reasonable intact item. If they don't, you are basically screwed.

delay in shipping

The crackers at Olen make great products other than my tracking being a little fuzzy on my quest 3 so it is hard to shoot at longer ranges in onward.

The fit is very nice and the prescription was spot on. I recommend these for the PSVR2

I was so surprised how fast I got my order and happy with the product. Very professional company.

This was very sad, waited for my son to get this and it was saying already shipped or not seen, very very bad. Had to send pieces back it was a utter disaster

I have bought the asset gunstock from their website which just had a new updated look which looks great. After a while of use of the gunstock, I love it to death. I can longer go free handed when playing ghosts of tabor. They are super responsive in their community discord and you can always get help when you need it. I 100% recommend going through this company for gunstocks.

I bought the olen vr spine gun stock for my oculus quest 2 and please if your reading this do not buy it, very hard to disassemble if you want to for whatever reason, the material snaps if you put the pressure it needs to take the part off, and overall they built this for looks not for actual quality, do no buy this.

Love Olen stocks and accessories options! Great store! Upped my game and have purchased a bunch for my friends. Whether single player, coop, or competitive, this makes FPS fun and feels more realistic.

Hello, I bought the spine stock and initially I was worried because previous stocks I bought ( not from this company) always came damaged or incomplete. This stock arrived with a custom message written on the inside of the lid saying “we appreciate you” that was a good first impression. The stock went together easy and the sling is a good length. My favorite thing about the stock is the weight to it when ur locked into it you can actually feel the weigh and feel like your holding a gun. This will be my main stock moving forward and I couldn’t be happier with the product thanks again

Extremely Happy With the whole experience, working with Olen VR! I enjoy my PSVR2 gun stock, even though it has only been 24 hours, its been in use about 14 hours! From the beginning emailing questions, scheduling pick up (ON MY TIME), letting me choose my preference, to finalizing! Thank you very much for everything, you guys are great! I will definitely be doing business with you again, soon possibly!

Beware. This company is a scam!! Sent broken items then to send replacement charged for shipping.1yr later never received replacement. Be careful ordering from these type of shady businesses. Just read the reviews for this company before buying. They do the same thing over and over then respond to a review as if they’re the victim LOL. 24% of reviews are 1 star there’s no explanation for that. This company is a fraud.

Yes we did reach out to you and this was your same excuse “must have been a mistake”. 4 months later item still shows waiting to ship. At this point you can keep the item and you earn 1 star. Anyone reading this just know you have a 1 and 4 chance they’ll be a problem with your order. Not good. 25% of your reviews are 1star. Please figure out your QC. It’s unacceptable taken people’s money and not providing the product. Good day to you.

Read the other reviews around here too. Either the product was received and people love it, or they had little to no communication with awful customer service, and an incomplete order.

I had a nice back and forth with the awful customer service rep regarding my purchase missing items, and their response the entire time was "No, you got everything." over and over again. It was only once I close the conversation they said "Oh you don't want a ticket? You don't want to use that 1 year warranty mentioned nowhere on the product? Ok! :)" At any point during our 11 emails that could have been mentioned, but it wasn't. I don't know about you, but when a customer loses $80 to a company, the last thing they should be doing is getting mocked by the business.

I will happily share our interactions with anyone who asks, so you can see what you're possibly in for. If you do order this product, I wish you luck in that you actually receive everything.

I would also add you could easily get a 3d printed file and make this item yourself for less than $30 USD, seriously, look it up. Most expensive parts would be the metal rod for the stock (easily replaceable with something cheaper) and getting the grips for the controller. You'd probably get better quality too since they shipped it right out of the printer covered in the resin hairs that take minimal effort to remove, but I expect nothing less from the interactions with this company.

I hope this review finds you onlookers, in hopes you take your business somewhere reliable, because this isn't the place.

Edit: I implore you to read their response to this and know that the picture I sent had the parts missing, because I had not received them. Again, order this product at your own risk, and research other stocks! There are actually much better quality ones out there that I wish I had seen sooner.

Do not buy this item. It is a piece of garbage for what you pay. The quality is definitely not there by a long shot. The rifle stock broke the very first time using it. I was very disappointed because I had high hopes for this product but it failed me miserably especially after waiting over a month to receive it and brake on the first use. This is very disappointing because I really wanted to like this product
