The worst company I’ve ever done…

The worst company I’ve ever done business with. They just didn’t send my son his stock for two months with no communication. I finally sent them an email asking about my order, the next day they replied with a tracking number and nothing else. I asked for an apology and maybe an explanation and have been ignored. Horrible customer service.

Placed order on July 7th for an all…

Placed order on July 7th for an all black gunstock. The website said 2 to 4 weeks lead time. On August 16th I sent an email about my order. Said if it was not ready to just go ahead and refund my money. The next day I received an email saying that it had been shipped and gave me a tracking number. As of today the 23rd the tracking number just shows the label has been created but the gun stock still has not been received by the shipping company. This is very dishonest and ridiculous that an all black gun stock has taken this long. They did not wait till shipping to deduct my money from my account.so as of today(day 51) I still don’t have a product that I paid for on day one shipped to me. Avoid this company at all costs.

Spine VR Stock

I purchased a spine VR stock and honestly i have watched my aim improve and my K/D in matches go higher then ever before, if you seriously enjoy VR shooting games this is a must get and with them making a spine for almost every controller and being very affordable its so open to everyone. Its very high quality and not hard to put together or operate, though i would advise purchasing a sling with it (they sell them) i would give this product a 10/10 if i could.

Customer service is great

Customer service is great, only problem is the delivery time, which is obviously taking longer than usual because of the recent influx of orders, so completely understandable. Cant wait to use the stock.

expect VERY late arrival

Ordered 3 weeks ago april 4th, i know things are backed up and they kept increasing the days your stock could be made but at the time i had 8-10 business day. Its been 21 days (april 25) and still no shipping email (which is another 8 days) its ridiculous how my stock went from 10 days to not even ready 21 days later. I hope you’re ready to wait!

We were hoping our immediate responses to your emails would help ease your concerns, but unfortunately not. We've done giveaways during the long wait time and sent out videos clarifying why it's taking so long. Our current fulfillment time (separate from shipping time, which we clarify on all our product pages and cart pages) is 16 to 18 business days. We responded to your latest email being that your order is 3 days late and explained why it was late; the issue being we didn't increase our fulfillment time quick enough on just the 3 day period we received 110 orders. For those reading this, we've received over 650 orders in the past 30 days and have had to constantly increase our fulfillment time due to high demand. If you'd rather not wait we completely understand but for those that are waiting, we're working literally day and night to get out stocks as quickly as we can without making any compromises to quality assurance.

Sorry we couldn't get it to you fast enough and hopefully when you receive it you enjoy it.

These stocks are out of this world!!

The quality of his products are amazing!! Very well built and the magnets for the controllers are top notch as well. The customer service is 5/5. If you have any questions they are very quick at responding. I HIGHLY recommend this company all the way!!

The Spine stock is very well designed…

The Spine stock is very well designed but could use some slight changes for a more comfortable experience. Playing something like Onward makes it almost impossible to do anything but shoot with your primary weapon as you struggle trying to find hand placement on the stock. Sniping or steady aiming is also another tricky problem due to the butt of the stock is entirely smooth so it keeps wanting to slide around my shoulders. Overall it's very well made, but with a few tweaks and it could very well become a great product.

I give 2 stars because they aren't a scam, and they will send you a product and will work with you. If you are more patient than I am, you'll probably have a better experience than I did. I write this hoping OlenVR improves their QA, and their methods of dealing with customers because I see that their product has potential to be a very cost effective solution to the generally overpriced VR gun stock market

I ordered my stock on june 5th, had an error on my part getting the address, took a week and a half, 3 emails, and a very earnest attempt to get some line of communication, as I'd assumed their customer service email had died or something.
It took til the 11th to get any response, I was promised a tracking number by the 14th, it was the 19th when I received word that it was shipping and I'd received it on the 21st. On most occasions, I'd have to email twice with about 2-3 days between, I don't know if they had backend issues, I was told they'd had a lot of customers. and I felt I was as understanding as one could be.

to explain where this went wrong, i have to explain how this is built. it is a metal bar with threads on either side, 3, or 4 pieces of 3d/resin printed pieces are threaded on to this bar, pressing the whole thing together and the rear part of the "receiver" has a female thread, where one would screw on a shoulder stock, which is an addon available with it which is just another metal bar with threads, and a piece of printed plastic.
However, I do not know if these pieces are to be glued/molded to one another, or if the threads are supposed to line up to where it presses it together in a way that prevents my problem, but my gunstock game in mostly undone, the entire assembly was wobbly and freely rotating on the threads.
I tried to shim it, glue it, used a vice and some very hot metal to try and get the threads to line up. I tinkered with this thing for about 2 hours a week for about 3 weeks.
Now, I'm not a rocket surgeon, and I'm not claiming to be anything more than some nerd trying to plink some targets in virtual reality but I think if it was able to be fixed on my part, it would've been done. eventually, I had worked on trying to get the pieces to fit so much, one of the plastic pieces legit just broke.

Now, you might be asking, why didn't you just return it? Well, had you read the whole review you probably wouldn't be asking that, but I will explain why I didn't.

Seeing how it took them the better part of a month, and about 4-6 sets of double emails to simply get my address corrected, and a tracking number sent to me. whos to say it wouldn't be another 4-6 sets of emails before I got my replacement. whos to say they wouldn't leave my emails read but not replied, and lose my information? who's to say the glue that holds it together wasn't melted in the truck and that that wouldn't happen to my replacement and I'd have to go through all of that trouble a 3rd time?
Not to mention the insistence that the customer pay for returns shipping. And just because every customer with an issue pays for their return, doesn't make it fair. I understand that a small company can't afford to drop the 15-30dollars shipping for every person who doesn't like the product or gets a jank one like I did, but if the work were put in to reduce the occurrences of that happening you wouldn't be paying for that very often.

I'll close with this, I do apologize for my choice of words in some emails I've sent, I will not apologize for being upset with the quality of customer service and the product I received. I was genuinely excited to give my money to a small producer of seemingly quality gunstocks for a fair price, I was excited to not be charged $300+ for what is essentially an arrangement of tubes and 3d printed plastic. However the end result was a metal tube that sits in the corner that I think of any time I boot up a vr game.

Also, some unrelated criticisms to the general design of the gunstock that I hope can be helpful.
The index cups are much too flexible for the magnet's resistance it certainly feels possible for the cup to come off while disconnecting, they also don't seem to be angled right, as in certain games (contractors) the ingame gun has to be yaw'd about 30 degrees to feel 1:1.
The cups' edges also run right under the second knuckle which can cause some discomfort. I'd intended on sanding it down myself
I'm not particularly tall or long-armed, the stock has the length fit for an smg, and found trouble reliably gripping long arms (the AK in VAIL, or pavlov for example)
If it's taking you a month to get these shipped out because of production speed, you should cut out some of the colors and keep goods on hand rather then produced upon order. End user wont see the stock during use anyway.
TL:DR, customer service is unreliable and are generally rude to upset customers; rightfully or not, product shipped weeks late broken.

We have a 1 year full parts replacement policy and have honored that to plenty of people who have mistakenly broken their stock or received a defective part.

We didn't receive the multiple emails you claim to have sent that we didn't respond to. *NOTE: We created a discord server with a ticketing system to fix this issue if it might have happened for other people. (We've seen other people with this complaint and their emails somehow were sent to our spam folder)

In regards to sending a replacement, we couldn't do that for you as you followed up a few weeks later with us with a sent picture of your smashed stock which was thrown in the garbage.

Stock changes since July 2022:
- THREADING ISSUE: The lack of sturdiness in the butt extension was due to our pipe manufacturer changing their overall product, which we since had to update our model and that issue is resolved. (Same thing happened with the magnets for the controller mounts)

- CONTROLLER MOUNTS (INDEX): We've updated the index mounts to a far more comfortable and reliable mounting system (uses two nuts and screws so a bit more permanent but far more strong)

- CONTROLLER MOUNTS (QUEST 2): We've updated the magnet height after receiving more direct feedback from the VAIL VR community, and there is zero play when mounting/dismounting

- YAW: this issue you're referring to is 100% dependent on the game you play. The magnet placement is 1:1 and we've tested and received feedback on games like (Pavlov, Onward, Contractors, VAIL) and it's been consistently good. NOTE: you don't always need the physical stock setting on

- HEIGHT: We now have height variations on our stocks now for players above 5'11 as this isn't the first time we've received this feedback and been hearing good things

If you decide you want to try the SPINE again in the future, we can 100% give you a massive hook up. We greatly appreciate you giving our small business a chance, and I wish your experience could have been better as we're learning and improving every day.

Best VR Accessory Ever!!

Shipping was quick and the gun stock is the best quality I’ve seen for any VR accessory. Definitey going to be ordering another one and can’t wait to get it!!!
