I bought a dress from these guys that not only took WEEKS to arrive it was also the WORST quality I’ve ever seen. This dress was in the sale at £45 & is disgusting they are charging this for the quality let alone full price of £79 ??? The dress is absolutely horrendous & looks nothing like the dress on line . I’ve been offered a part refund but this simply isn’t good enough & I feel I’ve been scammed big time . DO NOT ORDER .

I am very sorry to write this review especially as it was my first purchase from Olivia May.
I bought a beautiful trouser suit specifically for our 2nd honeymoon probably a few months ago in anticipation of our Seychelles trip. It was in perfect condition.
We set off in October & I wore the outfit to travel & felt very special & had positive comments about it.
However when I took the jacket off at our hotel I noticed that the thin fragile lining which purposely hung below the main jacket had long strands hanging from it that looked quite unsightly.
I took pictures of this & sent a message to Olivia May explaining this asking if I could send the pictures. I then trimmed only the strands as I needed to wear the outfit again & just couldn’t with these strands dangling & hadn’t heard from Olivia May at this point.
However I did then hear from someone at the company saying there was nothing they could do now & they wouldn’t investigate further as I had cut the lining & should have mentioned it when I received the item although I had explained it didn’t happen till I actually wore it. They said that this make of clothes are frayed which I totally understand, frayed is one thing but thin dangling, hanging strands is another.
To be honest I was not expecting the company to do anything except maybe explain or suggest something I could do to prevent it happening in future as it will keep happening. I didn’t ask for a replacement or refund as love the item but felt the tone of the short email was unnecessary & unhelpful especially as the outfit was quite expensive & the first item I had purchased from them. I guess from a reputable company like that I was wanting just a little interest & for them to at least be willing to look at the photos rather than being quite dismissive. I was sad it wasn’t forthcoming.
I buy a lot of unusual expensive items & was hoping this would be a positive company to deal with. It’s not when things go right that you necessarily notice or need help but when things don’t go quite so well it’s how these things are handled. A little customer service goes a long way in my business.
However as I said I love the item & will find a way to get it fixed.

Item pas na meer dan 2.5 week mogen ontvangen. Lijkt allesbehalve op het item op de foto's, slechte kwaliteit.
Stond nergens vermeld in welk materiaal het kledingstuk gemaakt is (had het dus zelf al kunnen weten). Retour zelf te bekostigen, blijkt nu naar Azië te moeten. Kost me dus allicht meer dan het kledingstuk zelf. Rommel!

I ordered a dress on the 9th of August, it’s now ween three weeks and it isn’t here. When I contact them they send me a generic email saying to contact them if I’ve already waited 5-10 days. I’ve told them many times how long it’s been and again more generic emails. I needed the dress for a wedding. I’m appalled but such awful customer service

ich habe nike air bestellt aber ganz einfache billigschuhe erhalten. passt auf bestellt da nichts. ist völliger betrug

schlechtester shop den ich kenne!! falsche bilder zu den produkten.. man weiss gar nicht was man kauft, da das bild gar nicht dem produkt entspricht.. finger davon lassen.. das sind BETRÜGER!!!

La qualité est très mauvaise et ça taille très mal. Les vêtements viennent de Chine.

On ne peut pas retourner les articles car ils sont soldés. En réalité ils sont soldés toute l’année.

ACHTUNG - Die Ware kam aus UK. Man muss wissen, dass die (durchaus gesalzenen) Zollgebühren noch auf den Warenpreis drauf kommen. Das steht nirgendwo auf der Webseite. Zwar hat sich die Firma anfangs kulant gezeigt und mir die Zollgebühren erstattet. Aber als ich das Kleid zurücksenden musste (auch die Größenangabe war "falsch") wurde lediglich mein "Konto ausgeglichen". Das heisst, ich bleibe auf 50% der Kosten, die für den Zoll angefallen sind, sitzen. Nie wieder!! Von Kulanz keine Spur mehr.
