I do not recommend using Optimal Solicitors
I do not recommend using Optimal Solicitors. In my opinion, they do not do everything they can for the benefit of their clients. Their communication is very poor – they do not respond to emails, and I have no idea what stage my case is at. I am starting to have serious concerns that I have been scammed because they completely stopped responding when they were supposed to receive my compensation. A lack of professionalism and reliability. I strongly advise against using their services!

To clarify, your settlement was confirmed on 28th February, at which point we informed you through e-mail that payment from the opposing party is typically processed within 21 days, however, this process can sometimes extend up to six weeks. On 10th March, we provided you with a full breakdown of the compensation amount, including all calculations and deductions.
As a regulated law firm, any funds we receive from insurance companies are deposited into a dedicated client account. These funds can only be transferred directly to you, and we are legally required to process them in accordance with strict regulatory rules. If the payment has not yet been made, it means that the opposing party has not yet transferred the funds. We cannot hold or delay client funds, nor can we process them before they are received.
Please be patient and trust the process, as multiple parties are involved, including the opposing party, their legal representatives, and insurers. While we understand this can be frustrating, rest assured that as soon as we receive the payment, we will immediately transfer it to you.

Not this firm for compassionate approach!
My car broke down and I stopped on your car park. I asked if I could leave it there until the AA came (sub one hour). A member of your staff refused and told me to park it on Sainsbury's, despite me tearfully saying my car wouldn't get that far. She insisted, I set off, and it got stuck in the road 20 metres outside, and couldn't even be pushed out of the road. I hope you staff member feels really great about making an AA mechanic do the repair lying in the road instead of safely in your carpark, and turning away a crying person justifiably scared to move their car.

We are sorry to hear about the difficult situation you experienced.
Unfortunately, our car park is reserved exclusively for our staff and clients to ensure its availability and safety. While we understand the challenges you faced, we are unable to take responsibility for unsafe vehicles left on our premises. Additionally, we cannot allow repairs to be conducted on-site, as this poses health and safety risks, including potential spillage of oil or other fluids, and the danger of a mechanic working on the ground in a space used for client access and deliveries.
There are several alternative parking options in the area that can accommodate such situations, and mobile mechanics are insured to carry out repairs safely in those locations or can arrange for the car to be collected by the recovery truck if it is unsafe to carry on with the repairs.
We appreciate the frustration this must have caused and hope that everything was resolved promptly once your car was repaired. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we wish you all the best moving forward.
