Beautiful quality.
The quality of BTC lamps literally shines through due to the delicate materiality of the lampshades. This is my 5th lamp and I love both the design/shapes and the light they emit. Like all handmade goods, these lamps will stand the test of time.

Lack of communication despite being unable to fulfil ordee
Placed back order in early June. Product was due to be dispatched 04/07, but product didn’t arrive so I chased. No response to email. So I called. Spoke to sales team who said they needed to query whether order was in production and they’d get back to me via email the next morning. I reiterated the poor experience stressing the need for me to hear the next morning. Guess what? No response.
So I called again. Spoke to customer service who said that it was no longer possible for them to fulfil all 3 of the products I had ordered. Offered 2, with the 3rd being another colour. Not acceptable as I wanted them to match. Why is it that I have to chase? I’d expect to be called or at least emailed if there was a problem. The company had 5 weeks to communicate with me but didn’t.
Interestingly, each unit of the light I wanted has now trebled in price. Left me wondering if they wanted to fulfil at the price I’d secured.

We’re truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment caused by your experience. We completely understand how upsetting it is to have to chase updates and not receive clear communication, this is not the level of service we aim to provide, nor is it typical of our standards.
Unfortunately, we were unable to fulfil the full order as requested. While the lights are still shown on our website, we only have two units available. We would have loved to produce another anthracite glass shade in our glass studio to complete your order; however, we don’t currently have other orders requiring anthracite glass, and changing over the glass pot for a single piece is a very involved and lengthy process.
We sincerely apologise for the lack of proactive updates.
