The staff are very professional and helpful and very polite they answered all of my questions and put my fears at ease for someone who is semi disabled and on benefits, the pdsa i'll have a valid lifeline for animal care

The PDSA is a very valuable and informative resource for all people who own pets and on a low income. Or pensioners like myself where their pets (especially dogs) are important for all-round health.

Vets are amazing in every way, they are very caring and very informative about the breed i have which is a BRITISH BULLDOG. Reception staff are also amazing with really good communication skills.

I would like to say a big thank you to the vet team for their help and kindness when I brought my dog in. Everyone was friendly, helpful and understanding, and made us feel at ease. They took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure my dog was well looked after. I really appreciate their care and support and would definitely recommend them to others.

The reception is so friendly and cannot fault them . Then when seeing the vet or vet nurse they are amazing and they do not rush you like a normal vet practice. Pdsa have been so good to me and I can’t fault them . So I always give a contribution and a tin of chocs for the staff here

Do not use the thamesmead pdsa leaving a cat with a uti for the weekend is disgusting but it claims it’s an emergency on the website they lie and want your animals to die disgusting

An incredible veterinary charity Pdsa that is a true lifeline for pet owners. The appointment was handled efficiently, the clinic was was clean and calm, and the staff showed genuine concern and empathy without judgement. Highly recommend!

People who need to go to the PDSA love their animals but may have fallen on hard times and on benefits or pensioners who receive tax credits and can not afford the prices at the vets . However the PDSA in Basildon is not taking on any more clients and feel the health of many pets will suffer. I tried to get a appointment for my little dog who appears to have a toothache who always went to PETS FOR VETS but their prices are way out of my price range and only seem interested in money and not so much the animals.

After taking my cat to a different emergency vet’s and they told me his problems were due to an infected cut on his paw, a week later I knew something wasn’t right and I rang pdsa as I have other pets registered here and they got him in straight away, soon as they saw him they agreed it wasn’t anything to do with a cut and his leg was either disclosed or broken so they admitted him that afternoon to do xray which showed his femur was totally broke and shattered so they kept him in to operate first thing in the morning. The care they gave nacho was fantastic and communication was brilliant they kept me upto date on how he was through the night and what they will do next and communication after his operation. I can’t thank them enough they were fantastic with him and they all gave him attention while he was there

My latest consultation with pdsa was extremely good. I was seen earlier than appointment time which helped with my anxiety, the vet I saw was lovely very professional and polite and took the time to properly examine my pet other than taking a few seconds which has happened before. The vet answered my questions and gave clear explanations and clear info on treatment plan. I received the blood test results on the day they told me to expect them amlnd they were really good at making a dental extraction appointment on a date that was suitable. Staff from reception to vet were really professional and approachable. Highly recommend BOW pdsa branch.

Everybody is there for one reason, and that's for the love of their pet. PDSA is a godsend for people struggling. At the end of the day our furbabies are family. We go to see a doctor when we're unwell. So ultimately, PDSA are our babies doctor who look after them extremely well. Thankyou!!

Got in touch with the PDSA over my dog it was not urgent but needed attention. Was informed a vet would be in touch in the next few days which happened. The vet was very helpful and put my mind at rest.

I am extremely grateful for the treatment my dog has received from PDSA in Oldbury. The staff there are very kind, understanding and supportive.
Thanks to PDSA, my dog is able to receive treatment for Cushing’s disease and arthritis at a much lower cost through their donation-based service. I am incredibly grateful for this support, as I simply cannot afford the cost of ongoing treatment at a private veterinary practice.
