Just make a way to push money without this over-engineered piece of garbage

Although the integration of connecting accounts is usually seamless - which is beneficial, their technology leads to cancel transactions resulting in a false flag insufficient funds when the consumer does have the funds available.

When conducting transactions through the STASH Investment app, plaid will incorrectly report insufficient funds with your connected and Link Bank resulting in multiple canceled transactions, which results in a loss of effort and money. I wrote to Plaid to complain of this issue when I discovered after frequent communications between my bank and stash that the real problem lied with the intermediary which is PLAID. I then submitted a Better Business Bureau complaint. My complaint was responded to and my issue was investigated but the company doubled down and responded as if they're in denial, blaming me, the consumer that it was my responsibility to check that I had sufficient funds in my bank... What a joke, and what an insult. It's a shame that we can't choose to opt out of using plaid when it comes to financial institutions. Yes, it is convenient, and that's why I'm not giving it one star. However, when you lose out on time, effort and their technology interferes with your money, becomes on the verge of infuriating. Plaid already had to settle a large class action lawsuit last year for security breaches. Now, they face the wrists of another potential class suit due to canceled transactions. They better get on the ball.

When using Nerd Wallet APP. In order to connect to your accounts you need to go through plaid 3/4 of the Accounts plaid doesn’t have access to connecting, and the few that are constantly become disconnected and you have to re-link them all over again why financial institutions are using plaid makes no sense it’s horrific.

First, they don't even have a phone number. And next, their support bot just assumes your problem and sends you to a list of "problems" that would just take common sense to understand. They need an actual customer support team with real humans, because these automated responses don't help at all.

I do not like Plaid. I do not use a Mega-Bank, I use a credit union. My bank is not listed, therefore I always have no choice but to pay with my credit card and incur a fee. They should allow you to input your bank account and not limit you to mega banks.

Tresl said I had to use Plaid to pay cash for my car purchase. (They considered a check “cash” and I hoping to avoid wire transfer fees. I was buying my company car from Enterprise fleet). I wasted endless time trying to pay Tresl from my Tresl account via Plaid and it would never work. I asked Tresl what the issue was and they said, oh, you need to make sure Plaid has your bank in their network. To do this? I had to create an account on Plaid and then? They provide you with the list of banks and get this, it was 5 banks. 5 total. For the entire world. One of them is the Bank of England. I have no words. Does anyone in the USA use the Bank of England??? Worst company and hopefully, it will close down soon. Oh, I ended up doing a wire transfer. Do not use Plaid. Please.

It never works, I have tried countless times

Absolute garbage! Over the course of 3 years I have tried at least 100 times to use this company for online payments using several large banks and it has worked exactly Zero times. No idea how these guys can keep a broken useless app up n running for so long

How they got some many companies to use a service that doesn't work is beyond me

Absolutely garbage. Doesn't support 2FA. Hasn't been updated on multiple platforms and has become a nuisance because there is no option for manual entry.

One year ago a company tried to get me to use this app to pay with my bank. It didn't work then on either Chase or Charles Schwab. Here we are a full year later and it still doesn't work. GET IT TOGETHER

Absolute trash. Don’t ever use Plaid, or you will most certainly regret your decision. Save yourself the headache!

Rule # 1- Do NOT give log in credentials to anyone, especially for your bank accounts!!!

Not compatible with 2FA. Who in their right mind doesn't have 2FA?

Plaid is awful. 100% of the time it never works. I don't know why so many services use them.

The app will not link to several major financial institutions.

I don’t know why they came into existence company is horrible don’t talk about anything when you only a limited list and not everybody is an i t so this is stupid for all the trouble it cause moreover the damage it does to me when someone stole my info!

I was lured in with their website offering payments initiation and "Pay as you go" pricing.
After having the chase their support repeatedly to get access to anything, they then further wasted my time by needing to have a call with their sales people before being able to use the production environment.

Apparently the services I built and tested in their dev environment "aren't supported". They also don't offer "Pay as you go" with no explanation for why that's on their website. I've now been waiting a week and haven't heard back about what the prices monthly prices even are.

I regret wasting my time trying to work with them. I recommend you use one of the many alternatives.

A terrible company that logs into your bank account multiple times a day. It appears to mine all the information in your bank account and probably sells it or shares it with many businesses and the government. I can't say they're crooks because I can't prove it. But they are dangerous and unethical. It's sad so many businesses use it so they can grab your dough quickly. Do not ever trust them and if you can avoid using them, please do.
