Professional Hypervolt Wallcharger Fit

From 1st online entry to completion the company showed it wanted my business. Early contact with a keen pursuit of developing their sale led to a professional supply and fit at our house. We weren't a "standard" fit with more work involved. Our fitter Chris was tidy, skilled, knowledgeable and completed the job as a neat and professional looking installation. Would highly recommend the company.

Installation carried out as I wanted.

Brandon arrived promptly for the installation. He was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending Plug-in Stations if all their employees are like Brandon.

Customer service at its best

Ordering my charger was very easy. It was installed within 10 days of my order being placed. On the day of installation, Andy my technician realised that what I had ordered wasn’t going to fit where I wanted the charger to go. He had an alternative on board which met my needs perfectly and fitted that instead. He contacted the office who offered me a refund on the difference in models the same afternoon. Very, very happy. Superb customer service.

Did not get what I paid for...

Fixing an old charger turned into a new charger installation, which was my choice and completely ok. Booked the installation, paid for it, it is done, and it works fine. But the electric cable running from the box to the charger was not replaced with a new one(with a data cable) to match the new regulations. I have asked the sales team about it, because it was included in my quote and I paid for it, no reply. A team which was answering questions immediately before the installation never replied to my inquiry about this. Charger works perfectly, and I am happy with it, but I did not get what I was told and paid for. Such a shame.

Haven’t contacted this company yet I’m being bombarded with text messages and phone calls. The last rep to call me said who he was, I said I hadn’t called them and he hung up. Great service skills! Seems they pester anyone they can for sales.

I have blocked but they call from multiple mobile phone numbers.

First time experience!

The installation side was good, I explained to the fitter where the wiring was going from and to, and where the plug in box needed to be positioned.
However the explanation regarding the app and how to use the equipment was very quickly brushed over. I would suggest that this side of the installation needs to be explained better to the customer who bearing in mind could be having this type of equipment fitted for the first time (as I was) and not familiar with how the app/equipment works, which made me feel that the fitter didn't take this into consideration! and just wanted to get away onto the next job.

Poor customer service.

When my EV consumer unit kept tripping and eventually stopped working I opted for this company because of their good reviews. An engineer came out and diagnosed a fault in the consumer unit, it cost me £144 to discover what I already knew. That was on January 7th and I’m still waiting to hear what the next step and cost might be.
I’ve given up now and will get an independent electrician to do the job.

We would like to clarify that the £144 charge was explained to you in advance as our service call-out fee. This covers a visit from a qualified and experienced engineer to diagnose the fault with your EV charger and identify the appropriate resolution.

When we attended on 7 January, our engineer confirmed that the PME device required replacement. Following this, a member of our sales team discussed the findings with you and provided a quotation to carry out the repair, which included both materials and labour. During this conversation, you advised that you were unhappy with the price. At that point, we explained that we would be happy to assist further if you wished us to return to complete the work, or alternatively, you were free to obtain a quote from an independent electrician.

We have not heard back from you since. However, if you would like to discuss this further or arrange a return visit to repair the charger, please feel free to contact us on 0203 797 7117. We would be more than happy to help and to provide the professional, high-standard service we pride ourselves on.

Fairly straightforward communication

Fairly straightforward communication, had to send in a few pics and video and quoted for the product Ohme pro home and installation work. The pricing was competitive but also the timing was quick and they gave dates a week from confirmation. The installer was friendly and helped in showing me the start up and operations. All in great 👍

I’m a Motability customer getting a…

I’m a Motability customer getting a Ohme point out in by plug in station. Was booked in for an appointment between 12-3pm gets to half past 3 no communication so I ring them. I am told by a lady that the engineer is still in the area and that she would get in contact with me once she has got hold of engineer. Half an hour goes by and I pick up the phone to overhear the lady I’m about to speak and the lady I spoke to before having a conversation between each other. The lady I spoke to before is telling the lady I’m about to speak what she had told me which was she couldn’t get hold of the engineer and would call me once she does. Anyway the lady I speak to the second time tells me there has been a “safety issues” at a prior customer and would send a £25 Amazon voucher as engineer is now unable to attend. Rebooks me in for 19 Jan a whole week and a half away and says she will contact us once she has spoken to the booking team on the Monday. Waited until the Tuesday rang them and spoke to a women called Shona. I explained the situation and how the communication had been poor and Shona was very rude, she tells me well you got £25 that’s all we are going to give you. At no point had I asked for anything additional I just wanted a sooner date and better communication. Shona made me think that as a first time motorbility customer that because we are not “proper clients” she didn’t care. Honestly so disappointed.
