Horrible Experience
I ordered a portrait for my parents for Christmas. My father is currently on hospice due to ALS and I wanted my mom to have something special to hold onto for a long time. I knew I ordered the painting late so I was okay with it not coming on time for Christmas. I received an email that the portrait was finished and it was beautiful so I approved it. I emailed a few times asking when I would get the painting and was told multiple times I would receive the tracking number in 12 or 24 hours. After about 5 days of emails back and forth "Sunny" then finally states that the artist who did my painting had a family emergency. I told them I understand and will try to be patient. It has now been weeks. I empathize with this artist. I understand what its like to have a sick family member, but now I don't know how much time my own father has left and this gift that I spent hundreds of dollars on I might not even receive. My father will probably never see it and the company has not responded to my last email asking if someone can just re-do it. I am beyond upset and hurt. I was so excited to get something so special for my parents, but instead it has just turned into a nightmare.

Contact and product was great
Staying in contact with Alex was simple and quick in responses. Any questions I had were answered efficiently and the updates were helpful! The portrait that was painted was beautiful. Something seemed a bit off about my daughters face in it, but it did look like her. I'm sure it's hard to exactly capture people's look through the free hand art process so I'm not upset at all!

I had nothing but a great experience with Portraitflip. I submitted multiple individual photos, asking for a painting of these two people standing together, I paid my deposit. The artist and I communicated until I felt like the picture was perfect, I ordered the painting that I wanted and I sent the remainder of my payment. I received the painting in quick time, considering that it came from overseas. It’s a true painting, not a print or computer image. I am completely satisfied.

Perfect experience
Guys this is the real deal. They took two separate photos and made them into one. It looks like it is real. I wanted a change of background and they were happy to work with me. The photo is so realistic and the background work was phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for more. Way out did my (already high) expectations. Bravo!
