Dalkeith Post Office, Scotland.
Went to return a parcel, already pre-packed and labelled direct for return shipping and experienced significant push back from the very unhelpful Post Office customer service advisors. Apparently the package was too large to be kept in their area for returns. When I challenged them that this was an approved branch to return this kind of delivery, I was again met with indignance and pushback that the "It won't fit in the DPD guy's box" so he wouldn't pick it up!? Low and behold, the "DPD guy" did pick it up and my item was returned successfully. My advice to these workers is that if you despise working in a public facing role (as it appeared you did) to find another vocation

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR BUGLE POST OFFICE IN CORNWALL ONLY

As per my previous post in March 2026, I needed to pay in charity money which had been collected - Approx £400.
All my money was bagged and the staff patiently took and weighed it all (lots of copper as you would expect) without a single complaint. OK, the shop was fairly empty but even so I was able to pay all money in over a 20 minute period of working with them.
Having paid in over £3k previously in March (see previous review) I knew I would be treated well.
Thank you Bugle team for making the process seamless - I just wish other PO's were as good as you are.

This is to review the Harvie Avenue Post Office, Newton Mearns, Glasgow. Excellent customer service. This is a very busy post office that is often queued out the door, however, the ladies that work here are always cheerful and efficient. I often use them for Evri and Royal Mail packages and the process is seamless. The staff are the jewel in the crown here.

Dreadful. Got an email about the 4.31% saver whilst I was looking to switch. Easy enough to open but from there its a shambles. Thank goodness something in my brain told me to send a £1 test amount to deposit instead of my life savings, as 24 hours later its still not showing in the account. Not what you want from a savings account in 2026 so you’ve lost a customer and I’ve gone elsewhere and found a much better service. Log in is also very clunky.

Horsefair post office Kidderminster. They keep,claiming there parcelreturns isn’t working , saying it’s broken down. They do this every times it’s busy and only one member of staff on, as they haven’t got time to serve you at the post office so they say it’s not working and ask you to come back, happens to me three times now, but when I go to the nearest other post office they do it straight away and say the systems have not been down. I won’t be usuing them again even though it’s my local, I’d rather go to a post office that’s wants customers and treats them like customers. They just lie about the system not working when they don’t want to serve you

Was followed by a red Peugeot post office van along Welshman’s lane in Nantwich Cheshire on 25/07/26 at around 1300. The driver had already forced a white van to stop and over took that as he was obviously in a stupid rush he then came extremely close and drove to intimate us and try and push us over. The lane is narrow only suitable for cautious speeds of around 20 30 mph. At the junction we received several finger gestures. We have reported this to the police and are currently reviewing our dash cam footage to retrieve the reg. it’s a waste of time trying to communicate with the p/o as the 0845 number is your only option and you can never get a satisfactory answer. If only our deliveries were as quick as the driver😂

Great staff who are holding this together. Uninterested, lieing and deceitful company. A parcel has gone missing but you are unable to report it missing. The company who sent the parcel say it's nothing to do with them. Customer left out of pocket because of thieves like the post office. Renationalise now.

Took Special delivery item to Alwalton Post office spent 20 minutes spelling names contacts etc for the special to be delivered today pre 1pm, however this morning at 9.36 the local postman brought this back to me I paid £11.00 for a delivery that has not arrived yet very disappointed

Worst customer service ever for such a small, supposedly friendly, community shop. I will only use again if I am stuck and have no other option.

So I wait in all day for my parcel. A failed delivery has been registered. I am literally sitting here waiting for someone to knock on my door!

So I’m motivated to complain. Has anyone tried to do that of late? It’s all scripted, avoidance and there’s absolutely no help unless it’s done via AI.

Now I’m stuck with no product which I desperately need today.

Business are amazing at getting things shipped, this organisation shouldn’t be relied upon!

The Post Office used to be a reliable service. However, every time I use it the service is either not available or poor. Today I went to the large PO in my nearest town as directed by Amazon to return a parcel.. it was shut down permanently! It had moved to a convenience shop around the corner which wasn’t set up to deal with returns. I went to another town 8 miles away and there was a notice in the door saying it was shut for the day for updating purposes. I went to another in a shop and they weren’t set up for returns either. On another occasion I asked for some of my change in 50p coins and was refused rudely. The same member of staff is habitually rude and impatient with customers.

Bow Devon. post office if disabled you have to walk a very long way around shop to get to counter. Then once there staff not very helpful. Will not be using this poorly laid out Post Office again.

Shifford Crescent post master.

This man constantly shouts at customers, as he weakly tries to control customer flow.
His insistance at some tries to embarrass people is wholly unjustified. When asked to be spoken to as an Adult I was told to PISS OFF. Verbal Abuse to me in full public view.

Junction road archway post office should be investigated. Dark and smelly. Rude staff. Hate this being the nearest place to top up my gas

Honestly, 2026 and you can’t open a savings account without actually snail mail posting documents through to them?!

Gave up, found another bank and completed the online application, including ID verification, in ten minutes.

I collected a parcel this evening (17th July). The staff member on duty was clearly not happy at having to retrieve it. Very abrupt and rude

The staff at Melksham Post office were very helpful on both my recent visits. It was very busy but the counter clerk took the time to help me.
Even though they must be under a lot of pressure with so many different processes they have to deal with daily.
