Australian GST double charging, and shipping confusion
I ordered a set of wheels which had an ETA for delivery of 5th of January (today). The item is currently held at UK customs and has been there for a week (held from 28/12/22) due to "the item's high value".
When I contacted customer support they first advised me that I had to pay import duties for the item, despite their own policies stating that their final checkout price includes GST and that they cover import duty responsibility. I responded back stating their policies.
My case is apparently now with their "internal courier team" with a 3-5 business day turnaround time, this has been a really poor experience since I need these wheels for an upcoming international cycling trip. At this rate I won't be purchasing through them again.

Website problems & Country non disclosure.
1. + Good price for the product I was looking for. BUT
-2. After putting my tyres in [the basket] I tried 3-4 times to then ADD 3 Inner tubes but each time it failed, with no message !
So I closed & paid for the first order, then again tried to create a new order for the Inner tubes x2 fails again despite trying DIFFERENT tubes in case it was an availability issue.
-3. AS you quoted prices in $ and had a .au address I assumed you were an Australian business, but it appears you are from the UK. This is annoying as I now risk being charged a FOREIGN transaction fee by my Credit Card.
I think ALL website should be EXPLICIT on Currency (ie. US or Aus $) and their home country location.

Issue with courier delivery and items were not delivered but ProBikeKit were excellent and were prepared to supply the items at the same cost as i had original purchased. Their response to the query was very prompt.

"In stock" does not mean in stock.
After 5 weeks my order is in transit somewhere (nobody knows where). No communication after the first week.
Avoid if you are ordering an item you'll need in the next few months.

I had a good shopping experience…
I had a good shopping experience online. The only thing I think I would like to have seen is a bit more transparency/ easier to find information about where the business is based and where the item will be shipped from before purchase. This will give customers the ability to manage expectations on delivery time before purchasing rather than making for a sour experience finding out after purchase.
