Propermusic.com is part of the Proper Music Group Ltd and was launched as an online store in October 2011 to supply music CD's, Vinyl, Bx Sets etc... direct to customers at competitive prices with an exceptional level of customer service. We've been supporting independent record labels and music since 1988. Our main aim is to provide an online shop window for the kinds of specialist music from artists and labels that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to find or discover in stock elsewhere. Our sister company, Proper Music Distribution is the largest independent distributor in the UK and we are able to supply music from over 2000+ labels from all over the world, regularly releasing over 150 new releases or re-issues every week. We employ dedicated and experienced staff who provide a polite and professional level of customer service through our extensive product knowledge from working within the music industry for many years. All our orders are despatched using a first class or airmail service with Royal Mail (Tracked as standard for all UK orders, optional for ROW) or via our network of courier services. Your opinion matters greatly to us and our reputation relies on it, so any feedback good or bad would be greatly appreciated and most welcomed. Your total satisfaction with our service is our ultimate goal.

Good source for hard to obtain items
Proper Music is able to supply items that are otherwise difficult to obtain. It maysometimes take a little time but Proper deliver every time.

Satisfaction with service
Goods ordered arrived well packaged and promptly, proper music enabled me to obtain recordings on cd not otherwise easily obtainable. Their e mails promoting jazz recordings are interesting and suggest further avenues of investigation of recording artists.

Superb box set
Superb box set, didn’t think l would be able to get hold of one, saw the review on Now Spinnings YouTube channel and then found you still had copies at a reduced price as well,fantastic service and received very promptly,since i only had a couple of Hunter cds this rounds up the rest for me apart from the two latest releases,very pleased with my purchase thank you

Excellent service
Easy ordering process. I accidentally gave an incorrect address for delivery so e mailed them with correct address. They responded promptly informing me that they had changed the address for me. Item arrived on date specified. Excellent service.

I’ve used this company before and and my item never arrives on release day , it comes several days later which for the consumer is not what they want !! If you pre order you expect it the day it’s released !! Otherwise the optimism diminishes !!

HI Colin, We sincerely apologise for any delays that you may have experienced with the delivery of any new release orders, this is usually due to stock delivery or manufacturing issues with the label, release dates being pushed back or the mail service, which are all beyond our control. ALL pre-orders for the UK are shipped on the Thursday prior to release using a tracked RM24 Service with the aim to deliver on the Friday, which happens in 98% of cases. We hope to be able to serve you again very soon with our usual prompt delivery.
