Filthy property (and unsafe)


I am filing a formal complaint against this property regarding my stay booked through Booking.com on July 7, 2026, with check-in on July 8, 2026.
Upon arriving at the property on July 8, I was met with severe health and safety violations that made it impossible to stay. The room was completely filthy and actively infested with cockroaches. Furthermore, the property environment was entirely unsafe: unauthorized individuals were loitering outside, and children were tampering with and touching guests' parked vehicles.
Because the property failed to provide a safe and sanitary environment, I returned the keys to the front desk immediately and left. The front desk employee, Asai, acknowledged the situation and explicitly promised that I would receive a full refund. I have full photographic evidence of the unsanitary conditions.
Despite Asai's verbal agreement, the property has failed to process the refund. Furthermore, they are actively dodging communication from Booking.com by refusing to answer calls from international customer service numbers. This is a bad-faith business practice to keep my money for a room that was completely uninhabitable.
I have full audio recordings of my interactions and phone calls regarding this issue, proving that a refund was promised.
Desired Outcome:
I demand that management immediately honor the agreement made by their staff member, Asai, and issue a full refund to my original payment method.

Quality Inn in Shepherstown WV

Quality Inn in Shepherstown WV: I do not recommend. For anyone that is curious, we had to cancel and asked to reschedule our reservation due to my unforseen cracked tooth which resulted in unrelenting pain which needed antibiotics and pain killers from 6/18-6/22 then on 6/23 a tooth extraction /bridge. (Copy of invoice furnished upon request) We had their room booked throgh Expedia and recently received their reply that "Quality Inn would NOT be able to waive the penalty nor refund". To me, this is poor business because they just lost the reschedule & at least a decent review. No room needed to be cleaned, no breakfast needed to be served, no service needed to be given. It's not as if this place is BOOKED. Poor business. Request type: Refund

Smoking or Non-Smoking??

I am in Sumter, SC visiting.
1-The room is nice and the bed is comfortable, and the $72. a night price is great compared to the other hotels surrounding the area.

2-BUT, I am a non-smoker and was told this was a non-smoking room. Well, what immediately turned me off is the many occupants who pull out their rooms office chairs and sit and smoke outside their rooms! You have to constantly ask, "Excuse me?"

2-It is also the level of people and feeling like you're being watched- as a woman.

3-The Inn is nice and made like a quad with a pool in the middle.

4-The internet is very poor. They only have I believe 85 channels and the tv continually buffers so good luck watching a tv show or movie in its entirety.

So Far my first choice in CLARION

Nice and spacious room that Clarion provided me last night. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to book it again(maybe stay for the entire weekend). I even adventure out to the computer room and workout room. WOW, Clarion had everything I wanted and then some. This morning I woke up to an AMAZING breakfast. Can I get an Outstanding Job!!! What needed to be said at the right time.

So I would say this hotel was a lil…

So I would say this hotel was a lil rough but the breakfast in the morning made up for it all.. the rooms were very clean just outdated..other than that it was a lovely little stay a lil bit pricey especially for in March but it did what it was supposed to so I guess that is all that matters

Definitely will be staying here again

The agency through whom we booked a one night stay at Suburban Studios Salt Lake City, UT, Airport failed to secure our reservation. We were devastated as we were planning to use their shuttle service, to the airport, early the next day. I was extremely impressed with the clerk who saw to our need immediately and was able to arrange accomodations for us. We definitely will stay at their facility when traveling in the future.

Worst Quality Inn. Ever.

Quality Inn Fallsview, Niagara Falls, ON, Canada. Thank the the stars this is my last of 7 nights in this dump. Today and yesterday they haven't bother d to make the bed or restock the in-room coffee. They haven't vacuumed the hallway the entire time I've been here, so it's covered in ice melter chunks. Patio door doesn't seal so room is ice cold unless I run the ridiculously noisy heater 24/7. Shampoo and conditioner are the cheapest garbage and I had to buy my own toilet paper because the junk they have gave me, my daughter and granddaughter a rash. Fridge barely gets cold, no microwave, and despite the name, no view of Niagara Falls. But the best part? Not enough parking for guests, so if you're here over the weekend, even in off season, you may have to park behind the building and trudge through the wet snow, only if you don't get scammed into parking even further away by the "attendants" who will also try to charge you, even though you have a parking pass. And breakfast? Nope, no hot food during the week,(except the mini waffles) but you can have powdered eggs and cheap sausages on the weekend. You can choose between 10 different wheat-based items or an apple. Not ideal for someone with dietary restrictions. I'd rather pay triple the rate and get a decent place, honestly I'd rather sleep in the rental car than pay for a dump like this again. I've stayed at many Quality Inn/Choice hotels, they're usually decent. But not this one.

Clean and very friendly Lots of amenities as well

The Quality Inn in Clarion Pennsylvania was an incredible experience. The newly renovated hotel boasts numerous modifications and upgrades.

The hot breakfast bar was a highlight, offering delectable chocolate Belgian waffles, fluffy scrambled eggs, and Canadian bacon!!! Something for everyone!!!

The management was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay.

This must-visit destination is a must-see. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy.

Lies

Booking claims they sent them an email asking to cancel on my behalf due to a medical emergency. This is after I spoke to the hotel directly informing them of the emergency and the man told me they would have canceled it if I had booked with the hotel directly. I told him the email was coming. He said ok. But they never approved it. I had a true medical emergency and neither the hotel or Booking refunded it. Also the photos for this hotel are a lie. Completely.

FRADULENT CHARGES AND LYING

Quality Inn, Ouray, Colorado.

During a recent visit, I was charged over $300 in FRADULENT charges. At check out, I disputed the charges and was told the manager would call me to verify a refund. The call never came necessitating a call to my credit card issuer to dispute the charges and cancel my card.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS QUALITY INN LOCATION.

Rude and Refused Refund After Cancalling within 1 Hour!

I booked a room at Quality Inn Southaven at 6:34 p.m. on July 30 due to a power outage. My power was restored unexpectedly, and I canceled at 7:31 p.m.—within an hour. I called the hotel directly, spoke to a staff member (Puvi or Pruvi), and was told I had to cancel through Expedia, which I did immediately.

Despite canceling in good faith and never using the room, the hotel refused the refund. Worse, the front desk staff was evasive, refused to give his name at first, and then asked for my name so he could “report me” — even though he already had my info and I was respectful the entire time.

I’ve filed formal complaints with both Choice Hotels and Expedia. This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location based on how poorly I was treated while trying to handle a simple cancellation properly and politely.

Casper WY Extremely helpful and Friendly Staff

The Quality Inn Suites in Casper WY front desk was extremely helpful in trying to resolve a duplicate booking. Room was clean. Breakfast was well stocked. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.

Never Staying at Quality again

During a 2 week travel vacation I stayed at 2 different Quality Inns, the worst experience in hotels. The worst of the 2 was the one Caribou, Maine. The entrance and lobby was not terrible, nor was the room, other than a little upkeep was needed. The hotel outside the lobby and the room was a complete mess. It was supposed to be under renovation, but it looked like it was being demolished. There was construction trash at the side and rear doors, which were never secured, they also had full trash bags that appeared to be quite at home and the rear entrance even had some that were not closed, fallen over and spilling the contents inside and outside the entrance. There was a construction pickup backed up but not blocking the rear entrance that had tools and trash piled in the bed and cab. Cobwebs covered the bed, tools boxes, and even the tires and hubcaps. The homeless camp behind the facility help with the spreading trash completely around the rear of the building.

I usually love quality inn

I usually love quality inn. But the one on airport rd in Asheville NC is terrible. Staff were unhelpful, no luggage carts to carry stuff to rooms, didn't honor the choice rewards elite program reward, just not a great spot.

The Quality Inn in Rothesay

The Quality Inn in Rothesay, I was very unimpressed.

Although the continental breakfast was included all week, the food was very poor quality, always cold and they didn’t replenish supplies all week. The scrambled eggs appeared to be artificial. The eggs were of very poor quality all week. The hash browns were always old and cold. The hard boiled eggs were old all week - the eggs displayed signs of greenish colour inside and tasted old and dry.

The house keeping didn’t clean the rooms unless requested.

I asked for a bottle of water at the front desk, and was told it was $2 even though we were at a week long conference.

In my opinion, the owners are very cheap and operate this property with a limited budget.

I would not recommend this property!

1 star is even too much

1 star is even too much. I went to check out and the lady checked my room to give me my deposit back. She came and told me she couldn't give me my 100 back because she said I smoked in the room. I lit incense while relaxing in the jacuzzi. Apparently she can't tell the difference in roses and nasty cigarette smoke. The rooms are half cleaned, breakfast is horrible. There are stains all over the curtains and sheets!!!!

so this hotel is highly unsafe for ur family , the crew name are u need to watch out will try walk over you her name is VIJAY BASANI and the dude name is DJ aka i wonder if right im sure these too are not any legally in are country , me myself as ex GM would never hire them , they are rude will find any way keep taken ur money also they want get mad that there was no sign up about 100 $ deposit anywhere where the customer has to obey , all other hotel apps are aware so is the local PD they are trying to SCAM BE SAFE !!!!

Scam you on loyalty points

The hotel itself is fine. Comfort suites in Springfield OR. It’s the company scamming me out of their loyalty points that gets me. 5/7 of my visits in a month not comped for points. I called, they gave me some BS run around. Sent in reviews for said days on their app, they say they’ll reach out to me in 72 hours, now been two weeks. Don’t say you’ll give your customers with accounts loyalty points for their stays if you won’t. Comfort suites scams you hoping you won’t notice.
