I sent a letter from my previous insurer for which i have received no acknowledgement or response.
I sent a letter from my previous insurer Aviva on 27th July confirming no claims / losses in last 5 years. Aviva admitted their mistake in notifying CUE and were correcting this. RAC Insurance advised me of an additional premium confirmed by an unhelpful adviser Jennifer on 29th July. Despite requests i have still no had written confirmation that RAC received Aviva's letter and are not charging the additional premiums for my car and my wife's car. The lack of a response has been a worry to me.

Im being asked to pay an extra £370…
Im being asked to pay an extra £370 because of a NO FAULT claim I forgot to mention. A no fault claim should not affect premiums especially as it didn’t affect the additional drivers insurance premiums.

Brilliant all round service
Every stage of the process was very easy to do and I was delighted with the RAC website that gives you everything you need to know about the system. Could not have asked for more as it included everything I required including roadside assistance. I wish now that I had joined years ago.

Service is Excellent …
Service is Excellent Recently (April) had to call RAC out to my car, service was excellent. Decided to try an RAC service at my home (June), service was excellent. Received renewal quote 50% increase on last year, looked at RAC for quote £20 cheaper than last year in total saved £170 on insurance.

Thankfully I’ve never had to make a claim but setting up a policy is straightforward enough. I’ve only give four stars because I find it galling that the RAC (along with other insurers) only reduced my renewal premium to a more affordable level when I told them I was going to look elsewhere rather than blindly coughing up the higher rate quoted for this year.
