I love this app you might get only few £ but every bit of money you get back it all adds up but some of the shops dont work i do all my shopping on this app no need to go out to the shops it's a win win for me

Seamless & quick to receive ‘confirmed’ payout - quicker than other cashback sites. The cash back rates are also very good with great increased offers at times. The payment to my account was sent immediately on the day they advise - no need to request. Highly recommend

Joined Rakuten and the money is coming in already. Dead easy as long as you go thru the Rakuten site before you buy anything .

Was skeptical to begin as never heard of this app, now 6 months down the line & everyone I exchange numbers with gets sent my referral link haha! I also use the TopCashback app but 85% of the time Rakuten pays more. Just had my 3rd payout, earned £170 in 6 months shopping as I normally do just via the Rakuten app (the total includes generous bonus from 2x friend referrals). Really can’t fault it, it’s money for nothing - what’s not to love 😀

Never known an app so awkward to use. Refer a friend did not track and now having trouble with the offer to add the extension to your desktop which ive clicked through and done and spent over the £20 but I dont think the extension was added as still keeps saying extension not installed. Honestly a load of palava. Will be deleting the app soon.

My account works fine for some transactions but when I try to purchased through Lego.com it always fails. Some ebay purchases have also failed. I have used their customer escalation portal and I have written to customer service on multiple occasions. I have even screenshot the Rakuten pop ups that confirm that the cashback percentage should be applied. I am still waiting on cashback for items bought in early May, in June and last month. Customer service here in UK seem to ignore every polite email I have sent them. Use them but do not rely on them people! If I get a successful resolution I will happily change this review and update you all. However that feels like a big 'IF' at the moment. This 'Date of experience' was the last time I wrote to them. 12 days later not even a courtesy email to say they are looking in to it. Really poor Rakuten! Please help me with this issue. I post videos helping people buy lego and i would love to be able to recommend they use Rakuten, but at the moment I can't. In response to Rakuten's comments.

Thank you for the public response — notably the first reply I have received after multiple private emails over several months.

I want to address your points directly:

1. I have screenshots of your own cashback activation popups confirming the cashback percentage at the point of each purchase. The "how to avoid missing out" article is not relevant — I followed every step correctly.

2. You state LEGO has not credited you. With respect, managing your merchant relationships is your responsibility as an affiliate partner, not mine as a customer. I activated via your platform, purchased, and you confirmed it. The obligation to reconcile that with LEGO sits with Rakuten.

3. You were aware LEGO had not reported these transactions as far back as June — yet took no action until I posted publicly here.

I am happy to update this review when the cashback I am legitimately owed is paid. I would welcome a direct contact who can confirm what steps Rakuten is actively taking to resolve this with LEGO.

I have been submitting tickets regarding missing NordVPN cashback for quite some time. Some of the tickets I submit are sent successfully, while others never seem to go through. The missing NordVPN cashback claim was submitted back in February, and I still have not received the cashback. All the deadlines you provided have already passed, yet Rakuten has still not provided a solution.

To make matters worse, some of the tickets I submitted days ago have been answered by someone called Heubert T., who does not appear to understand the issue. I clearly explained that my NordVPN cashback is missing and that a Missing Cashback Claim had already been submitted in February. However, he simply responded telling me to submit a Missing Cashback Claim, even though I had already explained that this had been done months ago. The claim reference is 51630099.

Whenever I reply to him, I receive no further response. I then have to submit another ticket, only to receive another careless, seemingly copy-and-pasted response. It appears that this representative is not even reading what I write.

Previously, a representative called Chris B. was responding to my tickets, but he also failed to provide a satisfactory solution. Despite seeing that the cashback had still not been resolved by Rakuten, I was repeatedly told to wait longer and longer, even though I had already waited beyond the entire timeframe I was given.

It is now August, and I still have not received a proper response or a satisfactory solution. Some of my tickets are not even being submitted successfully anymore.

I am therefore requesting that you resolve this issue and credit the missing cashback. Once this has been done, I will request that the payment be issued retroactively, as the cashback should have been credited and paid to me a long time ago. Rakuten’s payment schedule is on the 15th of each month.

Please resolve this matter and, once the cashback has been credited, let me know so that I can add a payment method and you can issue the payment.

Quite unbelievable for me, as this is my first cash back experience, I’m thrilled to join this wagon!

Cashback is very quick to track and rarely any issues with failed tracking as other major cashback sites.

Also when I had a question. Chris from customer services was super quick to reply and very helpful. The query itself was resolved before the ticket was resolved due to excellent tracking systems. Definitely will keep using it.
