I always ordered a good quality flour…
I always ordered a good quality flour from this supplier. I ordered several kilos panettone flour mid September, they arrived all with a very short shelf life best before November 2026. Really? For an expensive panettone flour I was expecting more .

Resposta da Ratton Pantry
Hi Maria, thank you for finding the time to leave us feedback on your most recent order.
We're sorry to hear that the Panettone flour you ordered arrived with a much shorter than expected shelf life. I can confirm that this was sent out in error and that we have now contacted you directly to resolve the issue.
We can see that your order was delivered around 3 weeks ago and, unfortunately, we can't see an email or phone call from you to raise the issue. Therefore, your review here was the first time that we were made aware of the problem, which we will now make sure is put right.
Although rare, and as you can hopefully appreciate with the type of food items that we sell, we do occasionally have short dated/short shelf life items for purchase, however these are always clearly marked as such (including the exact expiry/best before dates), along with a reduced price that reflects the shorter shelf life. This is so that the customer can make an informed decision as to whether or not they would like the product.
We appreciate that you didn't order an item that was previously marked short shelf life and, as mentioned, we have now contacted you directly to provide the options that are available in order to sort this for you. Apologies for any inconveniece caused.
Great staff support as always
Got just what I wanted and the staff even checked on the product for me

I was so pleased with the result that I contacted Ratton Pantry to share my recipe, measurements and the process I had followed, hoping the information might help other customers using the same flour.
Their response was wonderful. They genuinely appreciated the feedback, said they would keep my findings to share with other customers, and even sent me another customer's successful recipe for comparison, along with a discount for my next order.

Good Company To Deal With
Wouldn’t normally seek out to leave a review but honestly Ratton Pantry deserves every one of the five stars I am giving it.
I ordered a Bonne Maman Advent calendar to be sent out sometime in September, not date specific. At the beginning of September when they had started selling their second tranche for despatch in October I reached out as I am going on holiday soon and didn’t want it delivered whilst I was away. Mia arranged for it to be sent as a priority and indeed it came within the next couple of days.
I wouldn’t hesitate to deal with Ratton Pantry again, they were great.
