Initially was really happy with the cooler bag but unfortunately the zip has broken and I can no longer use it.
RED’S customer service informed me as it’s outside the 1 year warranty they can’t do anything and advised me to go to a local seamstress. The zip is a waterproof zip so that wouldn’t work and is laughable really.
Disappointed for the money I paid I no longer can use it, I have had problems with other items from red not being up to standard and have spent a lot of money with this company. Would think for the price point their items would last longer & a 1 year warranty is poor if they have such confidence in there products.
Unfortunately I won’t be buying from Red again, and in this case you don’t get what you pay for!
Still loving my ride board after 4…
Still loving my ride board after 4 years! It’s proven to be reliable and still looks good! The original titan pump it came with is also still going strong. Yes they are more expensive than other SUP’s on the market but you get what you pay for.
Awesome brand
Awesome brand, everything from the board to the bags and technical gear is first rate. Tried and tested over a few years now, thoroughly recommended.
Paddle board fell apart
I bought this board with high hopes. We only have about 15 hours on the board. We have a house in the Philippines and only use the board when we go there otherwise it sits safe in storage. After the first year the tie loops began delaminating and I contacted red pedal company for help to no avail. This year the first time we pumped it up and tried to use it the whole thing delaminated and it is basically useless. After contacting the company they offered be a 30% discount on a new board but I do not want to throw good money after bad. It is unfortunate but I am not confident in the craftsmanship of this product. We followed all of the manufactures suggestions on maintenance and care but it did not make a difference.

I own 3 Red boards and a lot of Red Original gear. Would recommend without hesitation as company is great to deal with and kit whilst not cheap is excellent value for money
The real deal
Brilliant boards. So much better than the hundreds of other pretenders which people can't even stand up on (for a reason) - you get what you pay for & these are worth it. My 7 year old son is now getting in to the sport too and I wouldn't have him on any other board. Best times this summer have been spent on a Red.
My Red board has been a delight
My Red board has been a delight. I got into paddling during lockdown but got frustrated with the board I’d bought and after researching online and speaking with a lovely lady at Red I understood what I needed. She put me in touch with my local shop (I didn’t know they existed) and they were brilliant. I’m now more confident and on the water as the board is stable but quick to paddle. I’ve just bought a deck bag and that’s equally as good.
General Review of Product and Customer Service
I've had my board (2021 Ride 10'6) for around a year now - still as good as new. I've had two separate issues with my pump (Titan 2) - one which required a replacement which was sent out within about an hour of me logging the issue with Red directly, it was with me the next day and no issues since. Since then two screws worked their way out of the bottom of the pump and unfortunately were lost - again I logged this and the replacements were sent out free of charge. I've emailed red for advice on numerous things such as UV protection and general maintenance - they get back to you almost immediately and are always more than happy to help in a really personal way. I'm glad I spent a bit more on my first set up as the customer service is brilliant and I'm confident if I have any issues or questions in the future the service I'll receive will be second to none.
Amazing customer service
Board quality is amazing, as is the customer service. Emailed about an issue with the included hose at 7.30am on a bank holiday Monday and received a response within minutes rectifying it, the staff are great and really go the extra mile.
Excellent quality off product
Excellent quality off product. The customer service I have received so far has been quick and very helpful. Would highly recommend this company too everyone. Wish all businesses had this level off customer support.
Unfortunately the experience I have…
Unfortunately the experience I have received is NOT from a 5 star company. No person at Red would deal with my damaged board - which was in warranty. I had to deal with various staff members, and go through literally the same questions, I've even got an email saying, could you confirm details, it saves me from looking, quotes such as "we have fixed it as best as we can", "its not feasable to fix the issue", although other companies who fix SUPS have said they are happy to fix the issue. My paperwork states my board has a 2 year warranty, yet RED have said it's only for a 1 year guarantee. RED did work on my board, without even telling me/asking for my permission to do so, which is actually in worse condition than it went to them. I thought the company was an environmentally green company, however, it looks like they are not, as they are not prepared to repair boards under guarantee, they would rather you just have a new board.
I appreciate faults happen in equipment, and I've given Red the opportunity to fix the issue, yet they are just not interested. I love the board, however, I'll be purchasing one from Tesco's or such like, probably better quality than a board that only lasts for 2 years - The board has been used less than 10 times, always pumped up when not in use and washed/cleaned after every use, so it's not down to bad handling.

Disappointed and lost trust
We have / had two Reds- the compact and the 10'8. We are largely pleased with the 10'8 - although it arrived with a broken pump and a nick out of the deck pad. The compact arrived with one side of the deck pad badly damaged - in the form of a number of long and deep dents in the deck tread fabric. We have had to return this board to Red via the supplier. Red have explained that the state of the deck pad will not affect performance but there was no indication that the deck could come badly marked and damaged in the product description. It has all been so disappointing as we wanted to have matching boards and have already bought all the Red gear - dry robes, hats, t-shirts, bags, jackets, bottles etc. We are now very nervous about buying another compact as Red have explained they cannot guarantee that it wont arrive again without this type of damage on it. It all feels like buying a nice bike with scratches all over it - whilst this wont affect performance it will degrade over time and wont ever look like the aesthetically pleasing piece we hoped for. We are so disappointed - and we are now left with a load of gear that wont match the second board we purchase as we have lost confidence in Red.
Great board, not so good paddle
I have used this board three times now and it really is superb. However the paddle (expensive carbon 100) isn't. I found that the blue paint colour of the paddle scrapes on the top of the board when crossing over hands when paddling, comes off too easily when manouvering in shallows over soft sand (and inevitably digging into the sand) and ends up over the travel bag interior. I wrote a letter of complaint to red and received a reply stating 'hey, looks like your paddle has had a bit of wear and tear, just use a heavy duty wet wipe to remove scratches and make sure you use the holds at the back of bag to secure your paddle when carrying to avoid marks'. I did use the holds and the marks still occured. Apparently they use a transfer on the paddles, they are not printed so it looks like I am going to have to rub the blue paint off my board and bag everytime I use my board. Not good enough Red!

Ho avuto modo di provare una tavola da stand up paddle Red a noleggio in costiera amalfitana.
Devo dire che ho potuto apprezzare la differenza rispetto alle tavole da SUP cinesi.
La tavola resta rigida anche in mezzo alle onde e risponde in modo netto. a una buona sensazione.
Il remo che ho usato non era marchiato RED, ma credo non faccia differenza col mio livello di conoscenza attuale del SUP.
Non sono ancora esperto di SUP ma mi sto informando su blog specializzati in stand up paddle e tavole gonfiabili come paddlesurf.it e altri che offrono confronti tra le varie tavole e opinioni.
Concludendo, buona impressione dalla tavola RED Paddle, ora sono indeciso se comprare una Bluefin o una Red paddle.
Poor Quality and poor service for Red Paddle 12'6" Race
I have owned a Red Paddle 12'6" Race for 5 years now. The first one was replaced after 1 year because the air escaped in several places. I still thought the service was good. On the second one, the seams are now coming apart everywhere within the last 4 years. The board was used a maximum of 5-6 times a year. I never inflated it to 1.5 bar and never left it in the sun. The glue is coming loose on the sides and at the bottom of the attachments. When I asked the service if they could at least provide me with the glue so that I could repair it myself, I didn't even get an answer. Unfortunately, the glue supplied is not nearly enough for all the spots.
For the price of the board, the quality is not even close to acceptable. At the same time, we bought a Mistral board for my wife that was only half the price, and it still looks as good as new after being used and treated in exactly the same way.
Poor quality and poor service together make me advise you to stay away from Red Paddle boards.
Expensive and unreliable...
Red aren't a cheap brand of paddleboard, however I was told the boards are reliable and their service is great.
You never really get to know how good someone's service is until you have an issue.
My board delaminated and RED told me it can't be repaired. They offered me a new board with their "betterment" scheme. Then after I couldn't find a receipt for an item purchased a few years ago they retracted the offer...

I am very sorry, but unfortunately, we do need some evidence of purchase to process these betterment deals. I am very sorry to have dangled the carrot in front of you, but I cannot put it through without said evidence.
We have plenty of boards going out to retailers in the second and fourth week of June, so keep an eye on stores around this time.

I would avoid at all costs, there are better boards out there at cheaper prices and customer service teams that want to help their customers.
Quality does not represent price
Board came with chipped/flaking edges of the logo on the front of the board. Two luxury towels both began fraying straight out of the box. Insulated bottle traps water in the cap after the first clean. Red hoodie had a distorted logo on the front. Carbon 100 paddle chips when placed on the sand.
Lovely looking board, but difficult to recommend this brand anymore. Red Paddle Co. website removes anything less than 4+ star reviews from their own site. Competitors like Starboard supply their boards with paddles lighter and more chip-resistant at half the price of Red's carbon 100.
Red Owner and happy
From buying my first board I knew it didn't feel like the Reds I had hired and so I worked hard to buy one. Not a single moment of regret. By far the market leader for a reason. Customer service 10/10 product 10/10 pleasure 11/10
