SURPRISE IMPORT FEE
I ordered replacement headlight reflectors for my Ford Focus ST 2.5 that I had seen recommended on a YouTube video. The product was ok, I had to partly modify myself anyway to get them to fit.
In the run up to my parcel being delivered, I had an email from UPS telling me that I needed to pay an import tax fee of £51 odd quid.
THERE WAS NO MENTION OF AN EXTRA IMPORT TAX PAYMENT WHEN I WAS AT CHECKOUT!!!
The driver dropped off the parcel without taking payment as he didn't know how to take payment.
This charge has now been increased and given to a debt company to handle!
I am very reluctant to pay this fee but do not wish for it to keep growing.
Not happy at all, I hope the company can reply to resolve this issue.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately due to the Brexit, the UK introduced some TAX rules, which are based on the amount of the order. We have checked your order and is was above the threshold, and you did not pay any VAT directly to us.
Under the threshold and the VAT is directly paid to the shop. Above the threshold and the VAT is not paid to the shop, but to the UK customs (via UPS in this case, like in your case).
Since the VAT was not paid to us, as by the rules, the VAT needs to be paid to the customs. These rules are not made by us, but by the UK government. And because the VAT was not paid to us, you are not paying anything extra or double.
Please believe me, we also don’t like these VAT rules based on a threshold.
We have mentioned this in the Shipping and Delivery tab on the product detail page.
And since these are rules made and enforced by the UK, I hope they also communicate these VAT rules to UK citizens.

Etwas teuer, aber es funktioniert! Feste 3 Sterne
Bestellt wurde ein Set für Mondeo MK4 und ich habe erwartet, dass alles aufbereitet ist, musste aber noch Löcher für die Schrauben bohren (Aufwand war allerdings akzeptabel).
Die extra bestellten Befestigungen/Adaptoren waren ziemlich unbrauchbar, man könnte die sparen.
Mit 80-90 EUR für sowas würde ich vier Sterne geben. Mit 120-130 EUR nur drei.
Positiv: es hat doch funktioniert und viel Licht ist wieder da!
Kaufabwicklung + Versand - 5 Sterne!
So würde ich empfehlen für Autos im Alter von 8-10 Jahren unbedingt zuerst(!) die Reflektoren auszutauschen und erst danach die Lampen, falls erforderlich.

Es ist in der Tat richtig, dass die Projektoren noch leicht modifiziert werden müssen, können Sie welche Teile müssen geschnitten werden in der mitgelieferten Anleitung, die mit dem Kit kam. Wir haben auch ein Anleitungsvideo, das den ganzen Prozess zeigt. Wenn Sie keine Änderungen vornehmen möchten, bieten wir auch einen Modifizierungsservice an. Das können Sie ankreuzen, bevor Sie den Bausatz bestellen. Ich freue mich aber, dass du deinen Scheinwerfern ein neues Leben geben konntest und kann mir vorstellen, dass die Lichtausbeute jetzt viel besser ist als vorher :)
Installatie Led conversie koplampen
Mooie ombouwset. De ombouw procedure was voor mij onduidelijk en je moet wel wat zoekwerk doen om het te laten slagen. Vooral de koplamp kap/glas losmaken van houder was nog wel een dingetje.

Hoi Pieter,
Fijn om te horen dat je tevreden bent met de ombouwset. Door de permanente sealing die is gebruikt om de koplamp dicht te maken kan het inderdaad niet eenvoudig zijn om hem open te maken, dat vereist meestal wat priegel werk. Gelukkig denk je daar vaak niet meer aan na het eind resultaat te zien 😎

Bedrijf onmogelijk telefonisch te bereiken.
Bedrijf met meerdere ondernemingen op 1 adres. Geen enkel telefoonnummer van de diverse webshop die ze exploiteren, is buiten gebruik. Erg slecht dat alles schijnbaar via mail en mogelijk een chatfunctie moet lopen. Verschuilen achter een afscherming, dat geeft mij de kriebels.

Vervelend om te zien dat je ons een 1 sterren review geeft. We kunnen helaas geen contact opname zien bij ons van jou, klopt dat? Wij zijn inderdaad alleen via Mail en of Facebook Instagram en de chat op onze website bereikbaar. Wij verkopen wereldwijd met meerdere webshops op 1 adres en het is voor ons helaas onmogelijk om hiervoor telefonisch bereikbaar te zijn. Het klopt inderdaad dat wij meerdere webshops hebben op 1 adres. Vervelend om te horen dat je daar de kriebels van ontvangt, dat is natuurlijk niet de bedoeling. Bij andere reviews kun je zien dat klanten erg tevreden zijn met onze producten en onze goede klantenservice. Jammer dat je ons nog geen kans hebt kunnen geven om dit te bewijzen. Ik sta je alsnog graag te woord via een van boven genoemde wegen om je verder te helpen met eventuele vragen die je hebt. We doen altijd ons best om binnen 24 uur (vaak sneller) onze klanten verder te helpen. Ik zou je daarom graag vragen of je deze review zou willen verwijderen.

Aharon AtomLED retrofit projectors are amazing! Night and day difference
I first contacted RetroFitLab to ask if they can help me see better at night on my Mazda RX-8 with halogen headlights. After a short discussion on email we figured out that the MX-5 NC Bi-LED kit they had might work on the RX-8 and so I went ahead and purchase it and test fitted the projectors and they fit perfectly! I now can finally see at night thanks to them and the amazing Aharon AtomLED X2 Projectors

Retrofitlab.com levert goede producten die perfect passen en zorgen voor een merkbare verbetering in lichtopbrengst, zoals bij de reparatie van mijn BMW X3 e83's xenon-koplampen. De levering was snel en de klantenservice is behulpzaam. Echter, de prijs van de kits is aan de hogere kant en een unieke oplossing voor auto's zonder voorgedefinieerde kits moet soms worden gezocht. Al met al een bevredigende ervaring, maar met ruimte voor verbetering in prijs en productbeschikbaarheid.

Company delivered product that was…
Company delivered product that was whole and functional, great tutorial on how to fit the product on my car. However, the bad part about this purchase was that they used UPS for delivery, they failed to deliver multiple times, and in the end just left my package at my neighbours without any signature (which was required). Horrible experience, Retrofitlab should reconsider using UPS as their delivery company.

Great service and great product. I ordered a Bi-LED projector kit for my BMW which unfortunately was misplaced by the courier. Retrofit labs were super helpful and soon re-shipped my order, which arrived promptly the second time around. Great comms and exceptional customer support, and a truly high quality product.

A very good reparation kit for my 2007…
A very good reparation kit for my 2007 T25 Avensis. The installation video on Youtube helped a lot.
Only minor adjustments was done for the installation. Headlights required some height adjustment for MOT and once you are at it, it is a good idea to replace the wire connectors that are included in this kit with waterproof connectors.
