Excellent Customer Service
First of all, I love the products and would recommend to everyone.
I ordered a cutlery set (which also included a free set of steak knives), due to this they needed to do an age verification before shipping. As I needed the product ASAP, I contacted the customer service team through their online chat. The staff I spoke to were quick to respond and extremely helpful - ensuring that I received my product the next day as planned (this was all done ten minutes before the next day delivery cut off). They were also able to add an instore gifted purchase (by another family member) to my account so I could track the warranty on that too.
Overall, would recommend based off the product quality and the customer service.

Present for newly weds
The little 9 cm paring knife was my gift to my granddaughter, newly married. She told me their knives were inherited from her new husband and they were nothing special. That little knife is my favourite knife in the kitchen. We have been married 60 years and we now have two which we use for cutting up fruit vegetables and cheese.

I ordered two Robert Welch knife…
I ordered two Robert Welch knife sharpeners as Christmas gifts. DPD “delivered” the parcel by first photographing it on my driveway, then bizarrely deciding to drop it into an inaccessible location where I couldn’t possibly retrieve it. The result? No parcel, no gifts, no delivery.
When I raised this with Robert Welch, I expected a reputable company to step in and resolve the issue with their chosen courier. Instead, I was met with red tape, deflection, and a complete refusal to take responsibility. According to them, it was either my problem or DPD’s problem — but certainly not theirs.
After endless back-and-forth emails, I had no choice but to go through my credit card company for a refund. Even then, Robert Welch continued emailing me expressing their “disappointment” that I dared to protect myself financially after their failed delivery and their lack of support.
For a premium brand, the experience was anything but.
Terrible customer service, zero accountability, and an exhausting process just to be treated fairly. I won’t be ordering from Robert Welch again — and I’d advise others to think twice as well

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very sorry for the frustration this caused, especially when you were expecting gifts for Christmas.
When a delivery is disputed, we work with DPD to review GPS data and images so we can resolve things properly. During the busiest time of the year, this process can take a little longer than hoped, as we need to gather accurate information from all parties before a decision can be reached.
We’ll review this internally and share your feedback your with DPD to prevent similar issues. We're sorry your experience fell short of our typical 5-star service.

Usual great products but rubbish delivery.
Can't remember the courier (perhaps DPD, who are rapidly taking the crown for the world's worst courier company from Evri, from memory) but they made excuse after excuse with failed delivery upon failed delivery. As usual!
The use of rubbish courier companies blackens the good name of Robert Welch and all the work you have done to build your brand is as of nought when your goods don't arrive. And why? To save a few pennies. Use Royal Mail for heaven's sake, support the local postal service who never make excuses and make the courier companies pay the price. Rant over!

I’m pleased to confirm however, that your order was delivered within our Standard Delivery time frame of up to four working days. We received your order on Sunday, 16th November, while our offices were closed, and our warehouse team processed and dispatched it first thing on Monday, 17th November. Your parcel was then delivered on 20th November. We can see that you received several duplicate notifications from DPD. Although this was unfortunately outside of our control, I completely understand how frustrating that can be. Due to the nature of our products, we are required to use DPD, as our contract with them ensures we can deliver bladed items safely and in line with regulations.
