I don't like that it's best to wear this belt paired with a load bearing vest. I chose not to wear an cutter vest, so having my equipment on the safelife belt isn't the best setup. My equipment moves as I undo my belt and I have to realign everything once I have it back on.

Sizes available make fitting easier for us bigger guys. Having a vest that does both by protecting against a knife attack and specific ammunition used in an urban/suburban setting fits just what I was looking for.

Didn't have Velcro straps to secure the vest.

What went right, that would be a more applicable question. The answer to that would be nothing, it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. A company that asserts that it is so customer service orientated should make a more concerted effort to be such. I ordered and item from them and they failed to ship it out on time, generated a label they lost and never sent the item. Proceeded to make me go through the process of filing a claim with usps for an item they never shipped. It has been a month, and I still have yet to receive my refund. They claim to be so customer service orientated but in reality they couldn’t care less about you after they have taken your money. I would not recommend purchasing anything from them, let alone trying to deal with warranty related issues. I can only imagine that would be a complete nightmare based upon their unwillingness to address a simple issue as an item that was never even shipped.

I’m extremely disappointed with Safe Life Defense and this duty belt.

The buckle gets stuck and is hard to remove. this isn’t just annoying, it’s a safety issue for gear I rely on every day. I contacted customer service and was told to “adjust my gear.” I did, and nothing changed. The problem is clearly the buckle, not user error.

What makes it worse is their solution: send the belt in for inspection before they’ll replace it. I’m on duty and need this belt daily. Sending it in leaves me without essential gear or forces me to spend more money on a temporary fix because of their defect.

For a company that markets to professionals, this is unacceptable. There should be an advance replacement option for critical equipment.

Until this is handled properly, I wouldn’t recommend this belt or their warranty process.

Poor customer service, poor sizing guide. I wear a size 34 and ordered accordingly. Belt was too small so I sent it back for an exchange of the larger size. Would not accept my exchange. I recommend a different company.

First time buyer here. Love the quick process and quick delivery. It wasn't a 3 or 4 day thing. It was what most outfits do which is about a 1014 day turn around. Which is far better than a company where i purchases around the same time and it's been over 3 weeks.
