Being a first time buyer, the whole buying process was daunting and I had no idea what I was going to be up against. Scout was phenomenal. As a first time buyer, it was a daunting experience thinking about how to obtain a mortgage, but with the help from Mark Widdows and Jake Branch it made the process so much easier. They are both very informative and made me feel supported throughout the whole experience, and it helped take the pressure off. I would definitely recommend using them again.

Would 100% recommend Scout Financial, especially Andrew Heslop and Lesley Eltis. After an initial wobbly start with a different mortgage advisor, Andrew made sure we got the mortgage we needed and kept us in the loop at every stage. Andrew and Lesley chased our solicitors and acted as our amazing intermediaries, decoding legal jargon for not just the mortgage but for the entirety of the sale. They werent just there for our mortgage but every step of the moving process, keeping us sane and finding us answers. They made sure we understood what was going on at every step and overall made a stressful move just that little bit easier.

We've used Charlotte at Scout Financial for both the purchase of our current property and the remortgage and she's been fantastic, providing us with cheap mortgage offers broken down in ways that we can better understand. When we were having issues with our solicitor in terms of finances from the sale of our property, Charlotte was there to fight our corner.
