Bang! There goes another sealed unit in our spa house. The lawnmower kicks up a loose stone and does its worst. As before, a new unit was ordered and arrived very quickly. Excellent quality and service. Recommended.

Five star in every respect
Five star in every respect, first time that I have fitted a double glazed unit , 2000mm x 500mm delivered dimensions spot on , Excellent communication, good price . The delivery driver delivered in the dark to a fairly remote part of Scotland and was extremely helpful.

Good service, which I will use again
Very easy to use the website for sizing and specifying the replacement glass panel I needed for a sliding patio door. Prices were very good, with delivery included. The product delivered was correct to dimensions and type, with a helpful phone call from the delivery driver in advance. Could have been a bit more proactive in keeping me updated as I did have to chase for an idea of timescale for delivery. But overall a good service that I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Delivered as expected
Ordered a unit to replace a conservatory window. Delivered on the timeline as expected, and unit appears to be to spec.
Ordering process was a little difficult - I had to do a lot of reading to figure out the correct spec (e.g. glass thickness and depth). Most of the info was on the site, but it was hidden in lots of tool tips I had to click through. Would have been much smoother if the standard/recommended choices for domestic installs were clearly labelled on the configuration screen.

Very very pleased with our two units
Very very pleased with our two units, planitherm glass with bronze tint which looks great. We chose standard delivery which took a few weeks from order but fine for us as we ordered well in advance and times were just as advised. The new windows look fab!

My experience with SealedUnitsOnline…
My experience with SealedUnitsOnline has been completely unacceptable. I purchased a unit through Amazon, yet it was not delivered within the timeframe promised when I placed the order. After several days with no update, I checked the order myself and discovered that SealedUnitsOnline had sent a message through Amazon’s chat system 4 days after the day of purchase asking me to confirm the unit size. I received no notification of this message, despite having already selected the required size on the Amazon website. Requiring further confirmation without ensuring that I was alerted exposes a serious failure in the company’s Amazon ordering process. Worse still, when no response was received, SealedUnitsOnline made no meaningful attempt to contact me again and simply allowed the order to remain delayed without my knowledge. The order was then subjected to further production delays. It was placed on 10 September and did not arrive until 27 September—an excessive and wholly avoidable delay. This was appalling service, compounded by dreadful communication and a complete lack of proactive customer care.

As the order was placed through Amazon, the request to confirm the unit size was sent via Amazon’s messaging system to ensure the correct specification was being manufactured. We appreciate that you may not have been notified of the message as expected, but we cannot comment on how Amazon’s notification system was presented or delivered to you.
The order could not proceed to manufacture until the required specification had been confirmed, which affected the timescale. Once the necessary information was available, the order was processed and dispatched.
We appreciate that the overall timescale was longer than you had anticipated, and we understand your frustration.
We are continually reviewing our processes and value customer feedback, including where there may be opportunities to make communication around orders clearer.

Pleased with the replacement unit
Pleased with the replacement unit. I never fitted one before let alone order one.
There are several measurements needed other than the overall size but the website makes clear what is required. A bit of online research helps if you are new to this particular bit of DIY.
The price seemed competitive. The only vaguely negative comment that I would make is the lead in time from ordering to recipt of the panel which in my case was about three weeks. As this was a new type of job for me I do not know if that is the normal time it takes to make one of these panels.
Delivery seemed to be done by a dedicated service.
I have no problem recommending this company.

Great website for DIY customers
I'm a DIY'er, so found the pre-set specifications extremely useful. I made an slight error when sending my order, but this was picked-up by their team and Customer Service contacted me straight away to confirm my requirements. The panel was delivered ahead of time and fits perfectly - they even went to great lengths to insert small sections of Georgian bar above and below the cat flap hole, which really adds to the overall finish. We are delighted with our purchase and will no longer have to leave one of the patio doors open during cold weather for the cats to come and go!
