Fuzzy len quality on replacement glasses
First of all they DO NOT replace glasses for free like you're lead to believe. They just charge you a lot extra for "processing and handling" charges to get them!! Then, the ones they sent are inferior plastic lenses. I have near perfect eye site but cleaned the new ones twice thinking they were just dirty but the lens are just NOT Clear!! My wife also said they were fuzzy for her as well. Very fuzzy!

I don’t wear anything other than costa sunglasses but I saw the add for shady rays I thought I would give them a try because they are a third of the cost of costa . I chose a pair and received them and although the quality is obviously not costa quality they were decent for the money but unfortunately they did not fit and that’s the issue of online purchases because you can’t try before you buy. I contacted shady rays and got a quick response with a return label for free and chose another pair and they are supposed to be on the way and hopefully they fit 🤞. I will say that customer service was really fast and easy to return. I don’t believe that these glasses will replace my costa glasses but you always get what you pay for and hopefully these will be a good backup .
Could not even complete my order
Could not even complete my order. Cart kept adding a 10.00 case that could not be removed or edited. I shop online a lot and am very tech adapted. Also would not let me access Paypal option.These two factors combined made me lack confidence in the shadyrays ecommerce platform. Would love to try your product if your website was adequate.

Unbeatable service and excellent value…
Unbeatable service and excellent value for money. I recently made a claim on my glasses that I bought 5 years ago, which had been brilliant until the coating start to peel. The warranty form was quick and easy to fill in and my replacements were approved in less than an hour. I've had Ray Bans in the past which had the same issue and was offered nothing.
Hard to beat their quality/price
I have a fairly unusual head and must say the Shady Rays shades are the only ones that I found comfortable (without having to pay $200+) after trying several options out there.
I always get the polarized classic version. They look good and they are light.
I also tend to lose shades easily and yes, they keep the promise to send you a new pair for each order made!

I purchased 3 pair of sunglasses on 12/31/24, I emailed customer support on January 13th and was told some BS about USPS delays. It is now 1/21/25 and I still can't track my order because it has not been shipped.
Do not waste your time with this company.
Fantastic Customer Service
I have been a Shady Rays customer for several years and have ordered several more times due to the quality. I have never needed customer service until this order as my shipped order went rogue and never arrived. Mariah immediately sent me a new pair of sunglasses, along with a shipping label to use in case the original order showed up and I could ship it back to them. Mariah was professional, efficient, and created a great customer service experience.

I ordered my sunglasses on Dec 19th, 2 pairs christmas presents. They were supposed to be delivered Friday the 27th. For the last 2 days the date changed now I cant even track my order. If my sunglasses do ever arrive it will be going on 2 weeks. I have contacted the shady rays support team about this and I only keep getting emails back about sharing with my friends for 20% off. Super unprofessional and I will not recommend to anyone. I am now gonna try and at least initiate a return for my 105 bucks back

Shady Rays doesn't offer replacements!!!
Shady Rays claims to have a replacement policy, but that is only a half truth. In 2020, I purchased the Signature Series Black Glacier Polarized ColorRush. I recently tried to use their damage protection replacement policy due to damage to frame, broke at hinge.
It took me three days and several texts and emails to have the replacement approved. Once I received the replacement, I noticed the pair didn't have the ColorRush lens. It didn't have the ColorRush logo on the frame and there is a difference in the quality of lens.
Again, after submitting confirmation emails, order numbers and exchanging several emails, Shady Rays refused to offer the replacement. They could not look up the original order or tried to look up the order with my name, address or email address.
I offered to send in the sunglasses, sent photos yet they still refused.
Why offer a replacement policy if they are not going to abide by it? I did enjoy the glasses, but a big part reason I bought them was due to their policy. It was a waste of money as there are other companies who offer similar, if not superior products, and stick by the policies.
These are very low quality sunglasses
These are very low quality sunglasses. Essentially the same as what you would find in a dollar store. I have had a few pairs as I bought 3 at the same time as part of a deal. Within a couple of months one completely fell apart (mystery pair- and so they would not replace it).
The second pair had the lens start to peel off. This was replaced and within 4 months these have also started to peel. Just FYI it is not “free lifetime replacement” because they charge almost $40 for “processing fee”. Just buy some cheap sunglasses at your local Walmart as these are not quality in any way and are not worth the cost.

Never Showed Up - Customer Service is not Helpful
Ordered them on the 12/3 and was provided a delivery date of 12/7. They arrived my local UPS on 12/7, and have been sitting there since then. I contacted UPS and they said I had to contact the sender. Shady Rays customer service said wait 2 more days. I said no, disputed the charge, and am moving on with my life. I'm not sure why they can't be bothered to make a phone call to get these rescued from the bowels of my UPS distribution center for me, but here we are.

SHADY rays misleading advertising
Relatively cheap quality, but not awful. When my sunglasses broke after a year, I was happy to see a "free" replacement option. After the processing fee for the "free replacement" it was almost as much as buying new. Not a huge deal, they're cheap sunglasses and I didn't expect them to last forever - but I do think it's a bit misleading.
Speaking of misleading - the header of the website advertises FREE RETURNS. While ordering my replacement pair of sunglasses I was prompted to take advantage of a deal to add a different pair of sunglasses. I thought I'd give them a try because I thought I could return for free if I didn't like them. Well I don't like them (don't fit my face well) and I can't return them. Website says return unavailable. Customer service says they're a final sale item and not eligible for returns.
Buyer beware of the false advertising. Read all the fine print before you decide whether to buy SHADY rays.

Impressed by looks,warranty,quality
Impressed by looks, enammerred by price and reports hearing, tried the shades..I gotta tell ya, these polarized Shadyrays are as good, if not better quality than the $260 name brand polarized i've been belueving in fir ladt couole years. Plus they're warranted list,broken,stolen,scratched up- shadyrays replaces!! Cannot beat that with raybans or maui jims..!

They dont tell you that when the cheap glasses break its half what you paid in processing to get them replaced. Glasses are the same quality as what you get at 7/11 for 10.00

Not real happy
I appreciate taking care of the original problem,very satisfied.However trying to recover some costs which I understand you offer a pair of glasses which are very nice but bluelight clear lenses don't help me.Whats the fix? Not happy regular customer.
