Excellent service from start to finish with Sheds Direct. We were very well looked after when we went to view the shed we'd chosen online. The sales person was so knowledgeable and helpful. We were having a big renovation job done on our garden which was delayed a few times and Sheds Direct were so accommodating. The shed was delivered bang on time, the guys who erected it were fast and efficient and really helpful also. Follow up service also excellent. I could not recommend this company highly enough. Thank you Sheds Direct!

This is the second trailer I have bought from sheds direct. The staff I dealt with were so professional and on the ball! A problem with the first item was more than resolved in a flash! That’s why I returned for another one! Service second to none. Thank you again.

We arrived at ten to four on a Saturday at their showroom in Finglas. We had our dogs in tow so it took us a minute or two to get into the showroom which was empty except for three ladies behind a counter. We left the showroom to view the sheds in an outdoor area. We were quickly followed by an older lady, from the outlets website I guess her name is Suzanne, Usain Bolt would have been proud at the speed she got to us! She rudely informed us that it showroom was shutting at four, obviously that surprised me as I had expected normal shop hours 5 or 5.30 or even a half day not 4PM???? I explained to the 'lady' that I had come a long way, that I had expected the shop, if open on a Saturday, to open on standard hours. I also explained that I had been on the website and had a good idea what I wanted. She interrogated me and obviously I did not give the correct answers as she was adamant that it was to late to complete the sale!!! NOT IMPRESSED! I have seen reviews on here praising customer service!!! Not on a Saturday at 3.55 when the sun is shining.

Serious Issues with Sheds Direct Ireland: Breach of Consumer Law & Safety Concerns

Warning to other customers — avoid Sheds Direct Ireland.
I ordered a shed that arrived with missing parts, and it took a couple of weeks before they installed the missing components. I also ordered a workbench which had an incorrect part, and so was incomplete. During this time, they refused to issue a refund or provide a full replacement, which is a clear breach of my consumer rights under Irish law.

Worse still, the shed was not correctly installed. Several screws were left protruding with sharp, exposed points, creating a serious safety hazard. Someone was injured on-site and required stitches as a result of this careless installation. This is completely unacceptable.

To add to this, the shed has already begun rusting — a short time after delivery — raising questions about the quality and durability of the materials used.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, I am legally entitled to:

> “Goods that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.”
If the item is incomplete, poorly installed, or faulty, and not fixed within a reasonable time,
“the consumer is entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund.”
— Consumer Rights Act 2022, Sections 13–16

Sheds Direct Ireland failed on all counts. Their refusal to resolve these serious issues in a timely or appropriate way is unacceptable. All communications and the installation process have been recorded, and I am now reporting this to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and considering a Small Claims Court action.

Think twice before ordering from this company. Know your rights — and don't be afraid to insist on them.

Bought a compost bin last year but only got around to assembling it recently. One part was not the correct one so emailed the sales team. I was concerned that as the unit was purchased last year I wouldn't get any satisfaction. I was wrong! Emailed sent on the Thursday, part delivered the following Wednesday.
Couldn't ask for more.

I will describe it in a few sentences.

Good customer service, fast and professional delivery of the ordered premium steel shed.

Cons: the instructions are not very clear, you really have to be careful to assemble the elements correctly.

The lock does not fit the door. Several external elements were scratched. Incorrectly drilled holes in the elements, especially the walls.

Got one of the larger sheds, quite happy overall. Small leak has appeared in the back corner (think it’s from the metal screws) sealed them a few days ago so I’ll see how it is. Good value for money though.
