My husband and I got married in February and started the process for adjustment of status/register permanent residence in March. We were kind of lost and couldn’t afford to pay a lawyer to help. Someone told me about Simple Citizen and to be honest we were kind of scared that it was not trustworthy. I did my research and decided to give it a chance even though I didn’t know how it would go. We are beyond grateful of taking that decision, it was the best we could have done. We got the premium package that they offered, we had an interview with an attorney which was great and even got the folder delivered to our house ready to be sent! The Simple Citizen team guided us through all the process and were always there to answer every single question we had. I do think that it’s gotta be team work between both parts and make sure you are doing your part by checking all the information you put is correct and always double checking everything!
We sent the folder with forms and evidence on May, by July I got my working permit and travel permit and by the end of October my green card got approved! It literally took 5 to 6 months! Made an account and application with my spouse for change of status from F1 to Permanent Resident. They had an intuitive platform that was relatively easy to navigate, and all the different small items, such as a certified translation of my birth certificate, redundancies on the marriage evidence, among other information, saved a ton of time in RFEs that other friends of mine had to go through. In the end, the lawyer was very good and adamant about increasing the amount of evidence and specifics on the forms, and after thoroughly reviewing the packet, everything went smoothly. While I had to do some small corrections and add more images when I got the physical packet, it was all worth it. For the price and the importance of the situation they are definitively recommended.
