The yarn has gone so far down hill, I can no longer recommend to anyway. The quality is trash compared to how it was, tooany factory knots and unexpected slubs.
They take over a month to reply to emails so good luck if your order goes wrong and you need a return. I'm back on the woolcraft train.
The support they show for hate speech is also disgusting. The funding of removing human rights from humans is vile.

Sirdar yarn quality is going down, the oatmeal acrylic used in the current crochet along on facebook has shown to bring people out in rashes (unwashed chemicals left in this colour yarn), i did not use that colour myself, others showed photos and comments.

I was pointing out issues with publishing errors on the crochet along page and i got blocked and all my previous posts removed to boot.
I feel like i've wasted my yarn and time taking part in this and previous cals. Cancel culture is wild.
Dont bother with buying the yarn, i will no longer be buying it, because of possible rash risk.

Appaling customer service. 2 day evri delivery for over £40 of goods not arrived 2 WEEKS later there answer ? We won't refund until it comes back to us.
It's EVRI we all know its gone.

Not happy at all with Sirdar. I suspect their Customer Service Agent is A.I.

I have not received my yarn; not surprisingly it’s being delivered by EVRI, with whom I will not deal personally due to too many bad experiences and lost packages.

I informed Sirdar of my situation and asked for a refund. All I get back from their ‘Agent’ is copied information from Evri’s website, which is totally fabricated. They are saying they tried to deliver, but I’ve had two notifications telling me they are delayed. Historically, this always happens and I don’t buy from anyone who uses Evri, normally. The courier isn’t specified on Sirdar’s website and I won’t be using them again, that’s for sure...

Købte 2 garnnøgler (Hayfield Bonus with Wool Aran, 400g). De kom hurtigere end forventet (bestilte 6/2, modtog d. 14/2). Alt gik uden problemer, varerne var i forventet tilstand. Kan kun varmt anbefales!

During placing an order online, my pc crashed, transaction was pending and no order was showing on account. The transaction was cancelled but 1 month later transaction went through. I contacted Sirdar and they confirmed no order on account and would cancel transaction. 2 weeks later, still no refund and now not answering emails. I will definitely not be using sirdar again.

I join the negative reviews. The customer service is very disrespectful to customers. When I asked for a refund for hooks that were impossible to use, they said no. The pink yarn at the end of the skein just had short pieces instead of a solid thread. Very disappointed.

Having spent a huge amount of money over the years on the beautifully soft Sirdar Snuggly baby yarn, for the first time I had a batch which was completely substandard. Despite buying in the sealed packaging and carefully checking the dye lots (as I always do) my finished shawl had noticeably darker parts here and there, making it impossible to gift. I had no receipt and photos would not show the colour difference. Sirdar were unhelpful to say the least. Very disappointed and loathe to buy again. Just came across my shawl which I’d put to one side but cannot be used. My review is very late I realise. Very disheartened.

Appalling customer service. I have ordered directly from Sirdar at least 8 times before - always slow delivery but eventually I receive the wool. My latest order though has just been lost in the ether - three emails and no response. £40 + on wool without any customer service response. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN! Rowan wool here I come.

If I could do no stars I would! Poor customer service on dealing with a missing delivery! No apology no order, such a waste of money and time! Will buy from wool warehouse from now on!
Avoid avoid avoid!

I bought 2 x 200 g balls of Sirdar Snuggly Yarn - Sweetie. Halfway through knitting the blanket there were knots joining the yarn, spoiling the look of the article. When I contacted Sirdar direct they said that they allowed 3 knots per ball. They should inform the customer of this on the sleeve of the ball.

I placed an order on 17 January R940347824.

Not received by 25 January, so I sent a message asking if it had been shipped.

Reply received 27 January - not shipped as they didn't have it in stock so 'under the circumstances we'll refund you'.

If I had not enquired, I wonder how long they would have left not informing me/refund.

I won't be buying from them again.

Order delivered covered in a perfume/oil and re wrapped in black plastic. Bought on Black Friday deal so can’t purchase same again, received a postage label for Royal Mail even though original post was Evri home delivery.
Correspondence was nil just a label to post. Would not buy from Sirdar direct again very poor customer service

I ordered through the sirdar site and then checked reviews after. Glad I did as I can honestly say I am VERY impressed with their service and that is not reflected in the feedback on here. I understand people have bad experiences but thankfully mine is a positive one.
I ordered on Sunday and have received my order today, well packaged and really good quality wool.

Ordering straightforward. Payment taken. Order dispatched. Order not received. Refund only when they receive the goods back.

No issues with Sirdar as a company except they only use Evri for deliveries, hence the single star.

Just bought a crochet pattern for a dress and am working through it. It is an appallingly written pattern, if you weren’t a proficient crocheter you’d be lost at the start. An overview of construction would help, but a complete overhaul would be better. Dreadful pattern and I won’t buy another, I’d rather make the pattern up myself, it’d be easier and give better results.

Emailed to get advice regarding pattern spent hours unpicking after 33 emails I was told sorry I was looking at the wrong pattern..wasted hours and very stressed . Will never buy from Sirdar ever again !!

Absolutely pathetic. Paid over £80 for wool and when starting to knit discovered one of the balls was a different dye which showed up as a darker band on the back. Tried to speak to sirdar but they just give me the runaround. Warning knitters - avoid them

Pattern 5286. Supposed to fit a newborn baby but sizing is just totally incorrect. The number of stitches make the garment come up way too big. Design does not work. I contacted Sirdar knitting helpline but all they said was for me to alter the design to fit. Will not be buying Sirdar again.

Gave 1 star as could t give zero! Ordered goods 1 month ago , didn’t arrive so contacted- after couple of emails told some items out of stock and refund sent - would I like rest of order - replied yes , still not arrived . Several emails sent with generic response- now in the hands of PayPal resolution service- awful company- steer clear of them !
