What a waste of time this company is- Bought an induction hob in Xmas sale- next day they said payment didn’t go through and Sale was over 😂 the best bit is the money went out of my account and then they refunded it. They then tried to make me buy it at nearly double the price.
Also when I bought it it showed up as 1 left in stock however today there is 4 at maximum price. Nice try Lads 👏 rubbish customer service and very rude, do not make the same mistake I did !! They then proceeded to lie and say I used a card from another country- no sorry guys I did not… I used my Barclays normal card registered to my adress so your poor behaviour to lie when replying to my review is shameful and you simply didn’t want to sell me the item on the Xmas offer. I just wish I had read the other scam reviews before my purchase.

Returned a unused microwave I bought which didn’t fit as we expected, on arranging collection I was told it would be a £30.00 collection charge & a £52.00 restock charge. £82.00 for returning a perfectly good item is harsh. The small print said a charge will would be applied if used which it hadn’t been but because the box is open they’re charging me anyway.

All OK with order from start to end .was kept well informed.

We went to a large DIY superstore shopping for a new electric slot-in fire and had a very bad experience, although somebody was trying to sell us one and was being helpful didn’t know the measurements and totally refused to open a box so we gave up.
We came home and found the smart Appliances website which had all the answers and a great price so we pushed the button and bought it.
Less than 48 hours later it was delivered by DHL who had been excellent with communication.
The fire is now in place and is exactly as described, wonderful service from start to finish.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Smart Appliances Online. I recently helped to purchase a coffee machine for my elderly mother, but unfortunately, the product did not meet our expectations. Despite our attempts to initiate a return, we have been met with nothing but silence and indifference from the customer service team.

The lack of a direct telephone number and the failure to respond to multiple online forms, emails, and WhatsApp chats has left us feeling abandoned and helpless. As a result, we are now stuck with a coffee machine that we have no use for and are unable to return due to the retailer's refusal to communicate to issue a return code.

This experience has left my elderly mother feeling distressed and frustrated, as she is now out of pocket for a product she cannot use or enjoy. I strongly advise anyone considering making a purchase from Smart Appliances Online to be aware of the lack of customer support and the potential difficulty in returning an item if it does not meet your expectations.

It is deeply disappointing to see a company demonstrate such disregard for its customers, especially those who may need extra assistance like my elderly mother. I hope others take heed of our experience and think twice before entrusting their hard-earned money to a company that fails to provide adequate customer care.
