SNUG CANNOT BE TRUSTED
We decided to take advantage of the great Summer deals offered by several major sofa websites in July and chose to order from Snug. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a big mistake.
Our delivery was scheduled for August, but just a few days ago, we received an email stating that our order was canceled due to a "technical issue." To make matters worse, there are no sofas left on their website, and all the other brands have ended their sales as well. Now, we're left without a sofa and with very few options.
Based on our experience, this company is unreliable. I strongly recommend avoiding placing an order with Snug.

Sofa is nice looking
Sofa is nice looking. But the cushions keep sliding off. Also, a slight defect when slotting the arms on as one arm sticks out at the bottom more than the other side. Only time will tell if the quality stands up to my previous sofa which was from next and 12 years old. The delivery people were terrible, not only did they change the delivery time from 12 noon to 23:00pm, they also broke my thermostat by smashing the boxes against it. They literally dumped it and left.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service - I made several errors with order and delivery dates and Snug sorted it all out quickly and efficiently. Delivery company also very friendly, polite, kept me informed and arrived on time ..
No refund but have taken more money from account
I responded to snug following my previous post. No contact from them. I was assured that we would receive a refund for our payment- I was assured by their head office team at scs that I would receive this and the £30 compensation. No refund but more payments taken from our bank account!!! This is not acceptable

Delivery not fulfilled
Purchased a sofa early July with an expected delivery date for 1 August, received an email yesterday saying that the sofa cannot be delivered and the next nearest possible delivery date is Mid September. The email basically said take it or leave it, with no solutions/compensation offered. I had replied to the email to try find alternative solutions with no response from customer service. I had taken leave just to receive delivery of the sofa and now I am left with the prospect of having no sofa after moving in. Bare in mind the company can call again right before the next delivery date with the same excuse to delay delivery. The company has not lived up to its advertised promised and frankly it felt like it does not care about their customer. I do not recommend anyone to have to go through this. Please avoid.

Bought two sofas, received none
My first purchase with Snug was cancelled due to a stock level error which I was sympathetic about and accepted help from the Snug team to purchase an alternative with 35% extra off. However this second sofa has been cancelled with the same copy and pasted email. The second sofa should never have been sold to me if the stock levels were still unknown and another offer code for 35% off feels like an insult when clearly the website is incorrect and the sales team don't know the stock levels either. My request for compensation has been declined by the company, despite the stress, hassle and ultimately sofa-less state I find myself in. I am deeply disappointed in Snug and will not buy anything from them again.

Purchase canceled!?
Went to the shop, bought the sofa.
Was already not happy about having to wait until September (3 months wait!!!).
But it was at a whopping 50% so, ok.
Today I get an email, that they don't have it and it was canceled. Straight up refund and cancellation of the finance.
They offered a 35% discount on top of the remaining items that are already at 50% on the website, which is fine, but I can't use it because there's nothing of the same fabric or color I wanted.
Absolutely ridiculous. Do not buy.

All I wanted was a pink sofa
I’m sure the sofas are wonderful but my experience in trying to order one has been an absolute pain. Delivery has been cancelled twice and now cancelled completely because of technical issues and lack of stock, when the one I ordered was technically under pre-order at the time of buying. I’ve been waiting for weeks when it’s supposed to be a quick service and charged two months of finance for the privilege.
They gave me a discount code for 35% if I wanted to order anything else from their website, which is great but at this point I’m sick of the hassle so I’ll be going elsewhere.

We bought a sofa a year ago
We bought the-rebel-3-seater-sofa-pine-green I year ago.
At first it was lovely and comfy. But one year on it looks like trash. We have taken care of it. But the internal foam has become misshapen and the brackets the hold the sofa in place are not great quality and have moved and weakened.
We had our builder fix it and as I mentioned it was lovely for the first 4-6 months. Now it looks misshapen and poorly made. I can not recommend this company for well made long lasting quality. I wont be getting from snug again.

‘the big chill’
The seatee ‘the big chill’ was really easy to put together and is super soft and comfy! The footstool is also brilliant! Really comfortable! I would 100% recommend a sofa from Snug!

I purchased a corner sofa and foot stool from Snug.
They are lovely, comfy, stylish and easy to put together, I’m a returning customer so this is just what I expected and am very happy.
Delivery was spot on, easy to get what is a big sofa into place as it is packed into separate boxes.
On the subject of the packaging, can I just say how good the boxes are, not only strong, but assembled well and with additional cardboard protecting the furniture beneath the centre taped seam, very thoughtful.
If you plan to move during the life of your sofa and have the space store the boxes flat and use to pack your sofa up each time that you move.
One comment for Snug to think about is the number of dessicant packs in each box, do you need 2 in a footstool box ? If your supplier is calculating that for you consider looking at alternatives one pack should be enough to absorb any moisture in a box and every extra bag you use is an additional cost, in every sense of the word.
Other than that pretty darn perfect

I ordered a sofa and was delighted when you confirmed it was in stock and available and we scheduled delivery for when my son was moving into his first home in September.. When I called you informed me that there was no stock allocated and you will now not have it so I need to cancel my order. I was so disappointed as the sofa was perfect.

Rebel 2 seater and footstool
Really impressed with quality and how easy it was to put together. Definitely firmer seating but that’s what I wanted. Fabric samples were delivered quickly and I would recommend.
Whats happening at snug????
Ordered a sofa and had a delivery date of the 26th of July. Was expecting a message the night before from the delivery company. That didnt happen. So i called them to get an idea of when it would be.. and they said they hadnt had the stock delivered. Got on to snug this morning and they confirmed that the sofa would not be with me today. The earliest it would be here is the 10th of September. I have asked for a refund. Looking at some of the other reviews on here... particularly in July this year it apears as if this is now a common issue. Seems to me that snug are happy to take money and promise deliver dates for things they dont have to sell. This is a worry... im out of pocket and have lost a days money in the meantime. Ive also got no where to sit as i had the old sofa taken away the day before. I will keep people on here posted of the progress getting my money back. Until then buyer beware.
