The team at Solar PV Panels Ireland installed 22 Solar panels and a 10kw battery at our house in Longford town recently.

We are one month post install and are absolutely thrilled with the results. Even at this time of year (March) this system will cover our full electricity usage, with this likely to improve as the summer months come in.

The install was very professionally finished, with Joe and team arriving here at 8am and finishing all works by 5pm. The work is very tidy and Claire in the office was super helpful with numerous quotes based on discussions before we went ahead.

I’m extremely happy with my solar installation from Solar PV Ireland. From the initial contact to project completion, everything was handled professionally, clearly, and efficiently. The quotes were detailed and well-presented, and I received a wealth of useful information throughout the process.

Joe Reilly was outstanding — knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain all my options, including future upgrades like a DC charger and backup power. On installation day, the team arrived on time, and both the roofers and electricians were highly skilled, helpful, and professional.

My system includes 23 panels across southwest and northeast-facing roofs, configured on two strings into the inverter, with a 20 kWh battery and the gateway providing full home integration for backup power and future V2H/DC charging options. The Sigenergy system has been excellent, and the AI function in the app works seamlessly once set up with your tariffs.

Claire in the office was excellent for handling all queries and documentation quickly and efficiently.

Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish — I would highly recommend Solar PV Ireland.

They answered any queries before and after the completed the work, they came on the date and time that they said they would, they were very professional (modern scaffolding tower, equipment, tools etc.), they were very curtious and unobstrusive, and pleasant to deal with.

Joe and his team installed our system. Initially joe went through the various make ups, and we installed panels, battery back up and the gateway switch over system. We already had to use the gateway as we were without power for a day. It was a seamless switch over, we didn’t even notice the power going and the panels and battery ran the house for the day. Joe came on the day he agreed, his team installed the system easily within the day and when they left you wouldn’t have known they were here. They came highly recommended from someone I trusted and I can only back this up by saying they are a great efficient team, with a great product, are competitively priced and I would highly recommend them for anyone considering solar panels.

Value, Trust Pilot Rating & Exceptional Customer Service

Having seen a few work colleagues and neighbours install solar pv systems, I decided to take the plunge on a solar solution for my own house. Solar PV Panels Ireland were one of the first companies to respond to me, I took the SEAI advice and received multiple quotations.

I found Solar PV Panels Ireland to be among the most competitive, and one of the reasons I chose to go with this company was my dealing's with Claire. I must have amended the quotation or changed some element of it about 10 times but Claire was nothing but helpful. We had a conversation where Claire shared her knowledge of the components of the system and the process in general and I was completely satisfied at that point.

Installation commenced on 2nd September, exactly as agreed. I had met Joe from an initial site survey and Joe arrived with his team at 8am ready to work. Joe and his team installed the system on one day, but were there until 6pm to get the job done which was impressive. At all times Joe kept me up to date with progress, and even showed me a late change to the design which would save me money due to shading from our chimney. I was extremely pleased with the final solution provided and how it fit into the property. Its a small thing to comment on, but I was so impressed with how Joe and his team cleaned up, there was not a piece of plastic to be found, and any dust from the install was swept up, the team were so clean and tidy!

I would highly recommend an installation from this company, I have already recommended to neighbours, friends and colleagues.

Some of my neighbours got solar panels installed, I chatted with them and decided to go ahead myself. The SEAI recommend you get four 4 quotes, which I did. One of those neighbours had got his system from Solar PV Panels and he was very happy with all his dealings with them. The quote I got from Solar PV Panels was very competitive, so I decided to go with them. I arranged with Joe to call out to our house. Joe was very easy to talk to, he explained everything to me in simple terms and there was no hard sell. Joe and his team arrived just before 8am on the day we had arranged and they had everything completed and were gone by 4.30pm. It was an absolutely horrendous day weather wise but they were so neat and tidy that you wouldn’t have known they had even been in the house! The system is working perfectly and we are delighted with it. I have already recommended Joe to two of my neighbours who enquired about our system. I have also recommended Joe to my grown up children for their houses. Claire in the office was also super helpful and super efficient and thanks to Claire our SEAI grant was paid to us very promptly. I would like to thank all in Solar PV Panels for the great job they did and would unreservedly recommended them to anybody who is thinking about getting panels.

Solar PV Panels recently installed 30 PV panels on Trivia House in Swanlinbar. A 10KW battery and Eddi Heater was also included. Our 7 bed accommodation building is now getting 60% of our electricity usage powered by Solar. This will be a saving of thousands of Euro per year. Joe and his team were very professional in planning the project and giving advice on what would work best for our building. Start date was agreed and the team arrived on site and work was completed to very high standard. There were a few issues with the slates on the roof but they were replaced. All of Joes team were very professional even when the weather was very bad for installlation. Work was completed on time with all snags fixed. Very tidy workers who left everywhere clean at the end of every day. I would highly recommend Joe and Solar PV Panels.

I used Solar PV Panels Ireland to install the solar panel system to my house during November last on a recommendation from a friend who used them for their installation. Joe was incredibly helpful before we made our final decision, providing us with a very detailed initial survey and patiently answering all of our questions.
