Bought a pair of trainers online. Delivery info sent. Had 3 messages updating delivery times by Evri on the day only to get an email to get in touch as they couldn't find the house...which is ridiculous.
Tried to get in touch with SportsD to resolve. Tracking number they issued doesn't work. Nightmare to get a hold of. Don't buy online from them

Fast delivery !!!but its shocking you pay for delivery then pay to return your item if you need to also no returns label you have to go to a online portal and arrange it all yourself so £15 out of pocket for ordering sending back then ordering again for the correct size. Will be using in store in future only ordered online with it being christmas and not finding time to visit. dont mind paying delivery but a free return wouldn't go a miss.
Wrong item no refund
I ordered kids shoes online and received very sneaky, worn men's sneakers in a torn box. When I contacted with the support, they did absolutely nothing!!! They neither refunded my money nor did I receive my order!
Greedy company
I dont know i always try to avoid shopping from sportdirect website cause this company looks greedy u need to pay for delivery and for return , and the worst if your order contain many items from differents partnairs so you have to pay for each return and what redicilous when you placed an order you receive a msg that you get a free box of beer or voucher of wine , what if i dont drink so stupid

I called 10 number from their website, many didnt work and NO ONE answered a single call.
I also tried calling their parent company Fraser Group -again no answer
Had to resort to posting on X (Twitter) complaining about the lack of service. Was told that I couldnt return an item as it was a day late (it was a BDay present), even though I wanted to get a larger size!

I’m really unhappy with my experience ordering from Sports Direct. I had to pay £5 for delivery and then another £5 to return the shoes — all because their sizing is completely inaccurate. It’s ridiculous to charge customers for both delivery and returns when the sizing guide can’t be trusted. I ended up wasting time and money with nothing to show for it. Definitely won’t be ordering from them again!
Missing items
I had a delivery which the parcel was partly open and had 3 items missing from my order. I have sent photos as evidence and have been informed that they can't accept the claim as the missing items were packed, and the courier said there was no damage to the parcel. I'm now nearly £150 out of pocket and have been shopping at sports direct for many years and have spent a lot of money with them. I'm really disappointed by them and lost trust in them.
Terrible customer service
I put an order for two rather expensive jackets. The next day the one jacket was discounted on their website.
After jumping through all the hoops they put up to contact them on their website I spoke to someone in chat and they refused to cancel my order that had not yet shipped. They were rude and abrupt and did not offer me any option other than to cancel the order once I received it (it hadn't shipped yet) and then send it back at my expense.
They didn't offer me a refund for the difference in price I paid. Even thought he jacket went on discount only hours after I paid for it.

I wouldn’t even give them one star absolute scammers . Take money for standard delivery’s £5 . And make you wait over two weeks for your item pay 48hr delivery and wait over a week . Will never use them again
Returned 6 items only to be refunded…
Returned 6 items only to be refunded for half of the items. When I asked why, I was told they'd only received 3 of the items. So somewhere between handing the package to Evri, (which by the way I had paid for the return service), and arriving at Sports Direct, 3 items have been lost or stolen, because for half of the items to go missing the package would have had to be opened. Regardless, I am out of pocket, but the worst thing about all this is the questioning of my character!!

I was recently in the Dundee store which is absolutely massive, it's over 3 floors, and each floor has numerous brands on each floor, I was on the third floor trying to get my grandson school trainers, after choosing a pair and joining the queue of at least 8 other people waiting in assistance from a sales representative, we waited at least 20 minutes before my daughter went in search of someone who worked there, we waited another 6-8 minutes for her to return with 2 sales members, they stated they were not from footwear and didn't know what was in stock, they then stayed they would go in search of someone to help the growing line of customers, there was now at least 11 parents lined up waiting to get the shoes they had picked out, after another 10 minutes I went in search of a staff member and found the previous 2 sales staff laughing at a screen between the two of them, I then asked abruptly if it would be possible for them to do their jobs and help the customers to find the products they want to purchase, it took almost 1 hour to purchase 4 items after they had been chosen, this is absolutely disgraceful, and I will never ship there again, what an absolute anxiety inducing outing I had to Dundee's Sports direct store, the greedy people who don't want to pay for staff are disgusting and I hope loads more people boycott this badly managed store in the future, I will also try and dissuade any one else from using it as well.

Don’t buy anything from this company. I ordered trainers on line and thought I’d paid £34.99. No formal email acceptance and no order number. I checked my credit card to find a US dollar currency surcharge had been added and payment had gone to a company called Ecofusedhawa in Macau the cost now was £36.97. I couldn’t get any sense from anyone as I had no order number. Eventually I managed to contact Sports Direct by email and they promised to respond within 5 days. No reply after 2 weeks. I don’t believe I will ever hear from them. It was clearly a scam

I have to have with shoes and socks due to two fractured bones in elbow and arm and damaged ulnar nerve tried first one left foot my husband had to leave to put more money on car asked another male for size another trainer I tried to slip it on unfortunately I couldn’t it was stuck twos staff males asked was I ok I said no the shoe was stuck my husband had gone to car park. They just went away I sat there till my husband husband came back after the awful service
We left I won’t go to any branch now I have now a nasty bruise fron instep to toes don’t merit 1 star

Ive never purchased from Sports direct, but when attempting to order from Studio, now owned by Sports direct, I discover I couldn't order, contacted customer service, turns out digital risk team have put a block on me purchasing online from any companies associated with Sports direct, because of a previous disputes with Sports direct, I explain I have never had an issue with Sports Direct they admit that they know I haven't, but that it was done due to some sort of spurious link to someone else whom has had, of course they can't discuss that with me because its not my business, so they are punishing me for something that is nothing to do with me, but they will not review or change that. They are simply disgusting bully boys and what they do should be criminal, I'm disabled and rely on online shopping, so their blocking my ability to order online is discrimination against me, I will not purchase from any store connected to this company from this day forward and fully intend to take legal action, Be warned do not Touch this company, or Flannels or Studio or Frasers as they are all run by the same idiotic dictators.
Not impressed
Not impressed. Purchased a t-shirt from online shop. Ordered a large. A medium arrived. I thought I’d take it back to a shop and get a refund. But no. Shop says they can’t accept online orders. Tried contacting customer services to no avail. No phone number or email found. Just a useless run around. Cost me £5 to return for their mistake. Cost me £5 for them sending the item to me. So all in all I spent £10 on nowt. Lesson learned. In future I’ll use a company that has a customer services that can be contacted.
I ordered a UA cap from SD online
I ordered a UA cap from SD online. Order came but there was a fault with the cap - probably occurred during transit. Contacted SD customer services regarding the issue. Less than 24 hours later SD contacted offering apologies and refund or replacement. Accepted the refund. Cannot fault customer services. I know this differs from other reviews but this is my genuine experience and I have no affiliation whatsoever with SD.

Trainers came and too small for wife. Fine no problem online says you can return to any store. Now not allowed after visiting store. Do online I go to arrange return and refund. Had to go through evri at a cost to myself of £4.99. Evri then collect my parcel and a week later I find out they lost the parcel and they tell me to contact sports direct for refund. I spend 20 minutes waiting to even chat online to provide proof of postage and evri emails saying that they admint they lost it (stolen by driver I'm my opinion).to then be told that they need a paper receipt for return. I explain again that it's emailed to you now and you don't get paper receipts. Provide them with the email receipts again to be told they can't do anything without a paper receipt. So left with no refund even though it's impossible to provide a paper receipt
