Paid £4.99 for item to be delivered. Sizing poor and too small (football boots). Drove to in-store and told that online purchases can no longer be returned in store.

Just awful. Good prices but they would rather fall foul of trading standards than issue a refund on faulty goods.

I've been charged a whopping £4.99 to return an item that didn't fit - and get this - the £4.99 WON'T BE REFUNDED!!

I would give this company a zero rating if possible. Ordered some joggers as a christmas present when they came they were the incorrect size. Finally managed to speak to somebody on chat who told me what to do eventually and they gave me a code for the return postage as it was their fault. When I tried putting the code in it came up invalid code. So once again onto the webchat to be told there was a problem with their systems to give it 48 hours. After doing this the code still did not work so I paid postage myself and enclosed a letter explaining everything. I am still waiting for my return postage to be refunded to me. (This is now a matter of principle to get it back). I have sent two reviews to them so far but feel as though it is against them they keep rejecting it. Worst company ever I have had to deal with. NEVER AGAIN.

I was issued a credit note on 6th January, which I used a few days later on line. Sports Direct sent me an order confirmation but then cancelled the order the day after. It has now been three weeks since the order was cancelled but my £47.98 credit note is still invalid. It does not seem possible to phone Sports Direct. I have contacted them via webchat but they have yet to solve the issue. This is very unfair !

Can’t get a refund, have to have a credit note. Spent credit note online but cannot return the items in store to swap for different size. Have to pay for delivery and return of items and then they expect me to go back to the shop again with my next credit note to buy the correct size.First floor changing rooms not usable. Ground floor changing rooms locked and you have to go to tills to get them opened. The customer service policies of this shop are awful. It’s like it’s their mission is to provide as poor a consumer experience as possible.

I would give 0 star if possible. Ordered things online, my order was cancelled due no Inbox locker available. Tried again some days later, prices were changed but still tried to get what I wanted. Same thing happened, order cancelled by SD due no Inbox locker. Chat with Customer services no luck, takes ages from someone from India to reply. Hoping to get all my money back!

Ordered a Man united away top pre Christmas number and name onbtge back for my son.
Was never advised it had arrived in store, finally picked up by chance 27th December.
Son was excited, when opening the number was falling off the back very poor application.
Emailed to complain 27th December, now 11yh Jan only 1 reply, nothing sorted and no further communication from customer service, very poor, I will not be dealing or buying from these jokers again. Terrible business and as for customer service *iss Poor.

Order Placed on 02.01.25 ,them.processed but not shipped at 4th of January but charged express shipping.

yet again sent there funky trainers back that were not brand new and yet cost me 4.99 to send back but did not even give the original money for delivery back another 4.99 yet i returned what they sent me as were used,will be ringing tomorrow and if no good will be taking to court as sick of these companys that rob innocence buyers of there hard earned money and there is no excuse as under customer care and trading law i am intitled to a full refund plus return costs due to the fault being theres.I WARN EVERYONE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THERE ARE CORRUPT.

13/12/24 Purchased a pair of golf shoes for Sports Direct, and now unable to return them as the web portal states there is a problem. I have written to them three time, to no avail, if this is not sorted out soon my window for the return will close, and will not be able to get a refund. Also the shops are not willing to take a return purchased via the web site. No contact number to talk to anyone. Not a good purchase option via the web. I am at a loss as to what I can do? Case Acknowledgement [#13889963] given but no resolution for solving my problem. 14/12/24, I have now been contacted by the customer services team via email, and the matter is at last progressing, Item has been returned and now awaiting a full refund. I will up date on my progress, once it is completed.

This is a strange one, had two pair of really great sports trousers and received an email asking for a review, as I was very pleased with the trousers I decided to leave a five star review, but on getting to the review page, they said if I was using an Ad Blocker it may interfere with the review, still I tried, and I couldn't leave a five star review, so there's a lesson here for Sports Direct!

Terrible customer service, there’s not even a number that a customer can call. You have to submit an email and then wait days for a response. Still waiting for refund. Will not use these online again. Refunds are a real hassle too.

Items ordered and money taken smoothly, but no delivery, no helpful people to chat with just robots that can’t do anything to help. It’s Easy for them to take your money. But Easier to forget you afterwards.

AVOID . Absolute joke! Disputed an order months ago (2 pairs kids trainers totalling £40 max) which were delivered to wrong address. Been trying to place an order and pay debit card - now had email to say
"We hope this email finds you well. We appreciate your continued support as a valued customer. However, we regret to inform you that your online account has been suspended due to a dispute against a previous order" I will spend my hard earned cash to a decent company!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I’m not even sure that they exist. I have ordered a football shirt for my son three times but never receive it. I have received one refund. They use EVRI for deliveries which is the worst Courier ever they lost the parcel once and falsely claimed they had delivered it. I am still waiting for the shirt to be delivered to their local store. They should be shut down and not allowed to trade online.

My experience with Sports Direct’s customer service was incredibly disappointing. I asked a simple question about whether delivery charges to Cyprus include taxes or customs duties. The response I received was vague and contradictory, offering no clarity. One part of the reply claimed taxes were included, while another suggested I might need to pay them upon delivery.

For a company offering international shipping, it’s unacceptable that their customer service cannot provide a straightforward and accurate answer. This lack of transparency and professionalism has made me lose trust in their service.
