Telephone Service Call
Lee was very prompt in calling me back within the agreed timescale (1 hour). I told him the issue and he quickly went through the solution to fix it with me. Very impressed that it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thanks Lee.

New Broadband router installed over…
New Broadband router installed over weekend, couldn't change to old SSID and password so arranged with local alarm company for a call from Spy Alarm technician. Within 10 mins I had a call from the technician, he understood perfectly the issue and assured me it was easy to reconcile through this telephone call. It was an amazing service, new router added to Smartcom box within 15 minutes, whilst he was on the phone talking me through it. The hardest part was removing the screw on the box. The technician then noticed I was on older firmware, said he would initiate the update and call me back in around 10 minutes - which he did and then waited patiently while I logged in to the Texecom app to see if all was OK. All in all, the service I received was excellent, the manner in which the technician talked me through the procedure was great and I am thoroughly happy with the result, saving an engineer call out. First class!

Software issue resolution
I got a pretty prompt phone back, and the technician helped me resolve the issue. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that he sounded a little unsure on some aspects of the Alarm App software. Despite this however the issue was resolved and a new device authorisation performed whilst I was on the call.

Unreliable
Poorest after sales service.
After cancelling the contract, they come up asking for monitering fees after 1 year. No clarity when you cancel them. I will definetly not reccomend

Installation poor and after service rubbish .
Installation not done correctly. Addition cctv installed at our premises to safe guard our staff . New cameras were only working intermittently ( enginee knew this ) but left telling us all was working. Trying to get an engineer out to resolve this has become impossible. Quoted 2 week lead times to fix the fault that they caused on safety critical cctv system. Do not use this company . They offer the worse alarm and cctv service I have ever experienced in my life looking after multiple premises

Head Office is chaotic
The technicians are good but head office is chaotic and general coordination and organisation is poor. An engineer arrived to install a new CCTV camera and brought the wrong fittings. He disappeared and there was no follow up by head office. On another recent occasion they sent an alarm engineer to service the CCTV, he left and I wasted another day off work. I think part the issue is that Spy has been buying smaller competitors including my own previous alarm company and has not integrated these properly.

Where do I start?
We are now 6 months on. The company have been planned to replace an external box fascia with a printed logo on a new box they installed. Numerous emails, calls and several engineer visits.
Still not sorted. Unclear to me if there is much internal communication at Spy.
Made a simple matter into a complex web of unnecessary visits wasting time and money

Resetting correct time
Call answered quickly but call handler unable to help (resetting time on the board which the recent service engineer had not done). Techinal man Lee phoned me back and quickly helped me to reset the time. However I would have preferred to have had the time set correctly in the first place.

Excellent Service
I had to call Spy Alarms recently for resetting of my alarm, which they very ably assisted me to do over the phone. I had no problems getting through and was called back very quickly by the engineer.
I also had a fault with my alarm keypad and as I live alone, I wanted it fixed as soon as possible. They came within 2 days and fixed it immediately.
I have always had first class service, the engineers are all really lovely and extremely helpful and I would absolutely recommend this company.
