StayCasino’s conduct throughout my complaint is not just poor service — it reflects serious procedural failures and breaches of their own regulatory obligations.
They confirmed in writing that deposits made with a bank card belonging to another person must be refunded to the cardholder. This is a mandatory requirement under their own terms, AML/KYC standards, and card-scheme rules.
Yet StayCasino refunded only two days of these invalid transactions and refused to refund the rest — even though every deposit was made with the same non-matching card. Selective enforcement of a compliance rule is indefensible.
Their claim that they “cannot refund because the account is closed” is both incorrect and legally irrelevant.
The breach occurred while the account was active, the complaint was lodged while the account was active, and closing an account mid-dispute does not extinguish their obligations.
Their handling of the complaint was unprofessional and obstructive:
– chats terminated when evidence was presented
– contradictory responses
– crucial information ignored
– no explanation for partial refunds
– and the matter declared “closed” without addressing the breach
They also continued sending bonus offers and promotions even after I disclosed financial stress — a clear violation of responsible-gambling duties under Curaçao licensing principles.
This case demonstrates:
