Given wrong information at point of…

Given wrong information at point of sale, whoh the salesman then disputed.
Communication with the Distribution Depot was not good.
Having been told someone would ring me on more than one occasion, alas that did not happen and I received emails instead.
Told them if they could not rectify the problem, turn I didn't want there items, only to be told I had to wait a week for collection which was totally unacceptable and you would not refund me my money until the good were in your warehouse.
So again another phone call to the depot to be told all the same things over again.
I said that a phone call from a manager that day was what I wanted.
Was told this could take up to 5 working days, again not acceptable
Eventually are much more pushing by meet, I got a call from a manager, who sorted part of the problem.
The nest of tables which were damaged, she said, "we can restore them for you" to which I replied, I didn't pay that kind of money to have restored furniture.
So now I have to wait another month for a new set of tables. Hopefully after all this hassle, the next lot will come already assembled.

A 'Sterling' experience!

Barry approached us when we came into his department to look for a sofa and chair, but he wasn't pushy, unlike sales people in other shops, which had annoyed us. He left us to browse and when we had decided what we wanted to buy he was very helpful with advice and information and concluded the sale in a pleasant manner. A very enjoyable shopping experience at Sterling.

Very happy bed purchase

Our bed purchase went very smooth with the help of Evija Rube. Evija has a lovely quiet helpful manner and was able to answer all our questions. She is extremely knowledgeable about the products being sold. Even when we changed our mind and returned to the bed department, Evija greeted us with kindness and care ensuring the change we asked for went smoothly. Evija is a credit to Sterling Home.

Staff very helpful

Staff very helpful. What always reduces your score is all the add ons! You know a customer cannot pick up a sofa and requires delivery so include this cost in your pricing of the product! You mis represent the cost then add a disgusting delivery charge on to the price! Not impressed

Fault in Leather of new chair

I am really sad to write this. Previously excellent customer service but on this occasion extremely poor. Been left with faulty chair, all agreed visible flaw/mark on chair. We are having to pursue full refund through legal processes. All we want is our money back now but this is not forthcoming. Advice is do not buy from Sterling, as if there is an issue we have found the whole process difficult and stressful. Really disappointed as my previous experience was excellent.

Communication great. Delay

The communication with sales rep in local store was fantastic. Was dealing with Stefhanie in Elgin store and her information and help was at no end brilliant. Helping with online purchase and how to use pay up options.
Website was quick and easy to use following directions and information from Stefhanie.
However once sold there is now a delay on when we can get our purchase which is a little disappointing but communication is good on that front too
