This used to be a great company with fantastic products but my experience of late has left me out of pocket. Meat products are still good but the company itself is full of empty promises, I will no longer be buying from here.

They used to be good.
Put an order in early in March and was given a delivery date of 13 March. No delivery, no communication, phone line continually engaged ( or disconnected), no replies to WhatsApp, email or FB messages yet I am still receiving regular emails about special offers!! Only option now is small claims court to get a refund. Will never use again.
Update (7/7/26): Complained to Bank and Trading Standards and have been refunded by bank as I paid by VISA.

Absolute sham of a company. Months and months of none communication and lack of any transparency.
It’s always apparently “the customers “ or the “the delivery company’s” fault.

Dreadful company. I have had nothing but promises over last two orders. Never received Christmas order, after that many rescheduled dates never received. Payment reclaimed via PayPal. Gave them a second chance, don’t know why….., order placed 1 March. Still never received, still so many promises. Am going to start another claim now. This company does not have any meat to dispatch!! Their adverts are all part of the scam to get your money.They do not pick up phone or respond to messages. Just occasionally you will speak to someone, full of yet more promises!!

Can’t believe there still selling on line ie Facebook.Totally useless service.Still not got delivery arranged for January.I can kiss goodbye to my money.
Please don’t use this company.Only a matter of time before they are investigated.

been waiting for order since jan 12th still not recieved it should of been today 1st april but still waiting its ridiculus imapensioner and cant afford to lose over £100 they owe me some money for missing items for dec order which was promised so went ahead and ordered for jan after loads of messages and phone calls voice messages from james and gary still nothing

Failed to deliver. Tried calling,emailing and WhatsApp, but no one reply’s. No info regarding delivery. Waited three weeks past delivery due date then requested refund. You need proper logistist specialist and more staff. If you continue this way, you will lose your customers

Totally incompetent at delivering orders on my experience. Every order has been late with the latest being placed 8th March and still no delivery or progress feedback. Take your custom elsewhere would be my advice.

I have ordered and received product before, this time no delivery notification, and no delivery. Have tried ringing, constantly engaged, and have sent several emails. No replies received. Many years ago had similar treatment from a different business. After no success 1 email a day became 10, next day 100, next day 1000. Then a reply. It’s amazing what a multiple resend can do!

Like everyone else my money has been taken but the order never arrives. Perhaps they have gone out of business but are still taking people's cash as the phone number is always busy and there is no reply to emails.

Complete scam company. Ordered on 4/3 and paid for delivery on 20/3 nothing. Have rang and texted just given more broken promises. Disgraceful customer service and will never use again. Just trying to get a refund now but again no replies to calls or emails, disgraceful

Sadly I have the same story as most... Been a customer for 5 years and up to recent they've been okay, decent meat, good offers and reasonable customer service. But now all has changed...orders not filled, no communication except automated response, and yet still receiving promotional emails.
Never again!

I have purchased meats from Stilton over a number of years and historically found the quality and customer service was good. However, over the past 6 months, their Delivery and Customer Service has declined significantly. My recent experience was that I placed an order due for delivery on 13/03/26. It did not arrive. They then promised delivery on 20/03/26. Again it did not arrive. I made numerous attempts to contact them by email, phone and text to request a refund. They did not answer. I finally managed to get a refund directly from Paypal. I would caution anyone placing an order with Stilton, as based on other reviews, many purchasers have had exactly the same problems. If matters do not improve, they will not have an online business.

Ordered over £150 worth of meat for a family event. The order did not arrive on the agreed day. In the 2 weeks since I have tried to call them many times but no response and all emails go unanswered. Have raised a issue with card company to try to get money back.

ordered steaks and pork chops and delivery is late by a few days. there’s has been no communication after reaching out and trying to phone multiple times. Disgraceful business practice.

This company have been late delivering 3 of my orders the last one by over a month . They fail to respond to emails , phone calls and direct messages. My last order was 2 items short and no refund has been given . Do not use this company

I have had loads of meat from this place but recently placed order with them and selected delivery day, guess what no email notifaction to say its despatched.
Complained about service and received a long whats app message from James the owner saying that they had problems and he would despatch the order the following week.
He asked for name order No and preferred delivery date the message on whats app has never been opened. So today when meat was supposed to be delivered no parcel booked at dhl .
Sent another whats app message asking for a full refund and told them I would no.longer do business with them ,got message back immediately that they were currently closed and they would deal with it tomorrow.
They are a crap company who refuse to answer the phone.

I ordered some meat on 2 February for delivery on the 11th. It still hasn’t arrived. It has been rescheduled 3 times and the one time the phone was answered the promised callback didn’t happen. Since then I have sent numerous WhatsApp messages and called dozens of times but there is no response and the phone is never answered.
Save yourself the stress and don’t do business with this company: there are plenty of other good, reliable online butchers out there.

Ordered some meat on the 5th of March and was given a delivery date of the 13th. It's now the 27th of March and no sign of anything and no contact from the company. Their phone is continually engaged (disconnected?) yet I am still receiving emails with 'special offers'. I suspect my next step will be the small claims court to recover my money. It's a shame as in the past they were pretty good!
