Tickets to an NBA game were not delivered via email until 11 minutes before the game. 15 minutes prior they told me I could receive a refund and then took that back. I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes trying to speak with a manager. They are more concerned about the seller than the customer. We also paid a premium for the tickets. We will not be buying through Stubhub again.

Ordered (expensive) tickets for Borussia Dortmund - FC Barcelona (QF CL), and the day of the match I still hadn't received them.
Contacted Stubhub support, and within 2 hours they proposed and booked better tickets for the same price.

Normaal schrijf ik niet zo vaak een review voor iets, maar voor deze keer wil ik graag toch mijn ervaring delen. Voor een event was ik op zoek naar een kaartje, via Ticketmaster en Ticketswap helaas niet aan te komen. Via Google search werd Stubhub aangeprezen als een kaartverkoper. Normaal ben ik niet zo van die onbetrouwbare sites, maar na de voorwaarden op de site te hebben gelezen met hun 'Buyer Protect' toch maar het kaartje gekocht. De prijs die je ziet als je een kaartje zoekt is helaas nog niet de eindprijs. Bijna de helft van de aangegeven prijs komt er nog bij in de vorm een 'fee'. Eindstand: €100,- betaald te hebben voor een kaartje dat normaal €35,- was. Na het betalen kreeg ik de schrik van mijn leven... Waar ik gewend ben dat je na de betaling direct het ticket krijgt doorgestuurd staarde ik naar een beeld dat zei ''we hebben de verkoper gemaild en deze zal zo snel mogelijk het ticket doorsturen''. Vervolgens ben ik als een gek naar Trustpilot gegaan waarna ik verwachtte dat ik mijn geld kwijt zou zijn. Met een gemiddelde van 1,7 ster dacht ik eigenlijk dat ik opgelicht was. Ik was mezelf al aan het klaarmaken om een klacht in te dienen, maar 2 dagen voor het concert kreeg ik een link van de verkoper die me naar een directe transfer op Ticketmaster bracht. Ik denk dat ik van geluk mag spreken dat ik niet ben opgelicht.
Ik begrijp dat mensen die een goede ervaring hebben niet snel een review zullen schrijven, maar ik wil toch laten zien dat het platform (soms) werkt.
Denk goed na bij het kopen via deze site en probeer (waar mogelijk) van de officiële kanalen te kopen.
Voor mij is het uiteindelijk goed gekomen!

I was supposed to attend a concert, but I never received my ticket even after following up days in advance. On the day of the event, I was told to pay for a Paradiso membership in order to receive the ticket, with no guarantee that I’d get the ticket afterward. That’s completely unreasonable.
This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. When I asked for a refund, customer service said it wasn’t possible. I now feel StubHub is completely unreliable and misleading.

Absolutely useless service. Avoid this company at all costs if you want peace of mind when buying tickets.

Stub Hub is a ripoff site. They sell a 3-day pass and only issue tickets for the first day. Went to see Billy Strings in St Augustine this weekend and they sold our tickets for nights two and three. Happened to 40 other couples as well. The box office said they make a habit of this. Apparently it also happened at the Widespread Panic concerts at the same venue. I will never deal Stub Hub again. Drove over 4 hours to get there and paid for three nights in a hotel.

I should’ve read the reviews for this company before taking any action. I bought tickets for a game that I planned to attend with my kids, but I needed to cancel. There was a situation that prevented me from going, so I decided to sell the tickets to avoid losing my money. I searched online for where I could resell the tickets and found StubHub, so I decided to list them.

Since this was my first time reselling tickets and I had no previous experience, I created a listing. However, when I checked the status of my listing the next day, I saw an option to "relist your ticket." I thought maybe something had gone wrong, and the listing had expired, so I went ahead and relisted it.

Apparently, I accidentally duplicated the listing. A few minutes later, my tickets sold. I was thrilled and proceeded to transfer the tickets. However, a couple of hours later, I received another notification of a sale for the same tickets, and then another one. I couldn’t understand how the same tickets could be sold multiple times.

When I contacted StubHub for a solution, I was met with confusion. Even after speaking with a supervisor and providing screenshots of the emails, they insisted that these were different tickets. I explained to them that I had the same ticket information in the emails, just with different sales orders. After an hour of back-and-forth, they informed me that I needed to pay for the extra tickets and that was it. So, I was selling 3 tickets but now faced a charge for nine tickets, even though I only had three.

This situation made no sense. We were talking about hundreds of dollars in tickets, and it felt like a total scam. The customer service representatives seemed ill-equipped to handle this issue. If I were trying to do something wrong, I certainly wouldn’t have called the same day I noticed the problem.

In conclusion, this has been a total scam. I would advise against selling your tickets here, as you could end up in a lot of trouble and potentially face charges amounting to hundreds or even thousands of dollars, depending on the tickets.

Terrible customer service
Looting prices and beyond ridiculous see service fees. I called immediately after noticing 87$ service fees and they ask you to follow ridiculous reselling process. Which is crazy troublesome for a single mom like me .

Never got my tickets Stubhub said someone else accepted my tickets day of concert called several times told me to wait till 5:30 to give a seller a chance to make it right than at 5:30 told me to call back an hour before the concert to get a link with new tickets than hung up on me after 30 minutes on hold I called back an hour before on hold for 30 more minutes than tried to push me into taking 300 level seats when I paid for floor seats I had to ask for a refund which took days to get my $950 dollars back had to buy tickets at concert ruined my whole day on vacation I will never ever use stubhub again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Stubhub is the definition of a scam wrapped in a fake smile. I ordered tickets they claimed would be delivered via FedEx — spoiler alert: no FedEx, no tickets, no trace of anything but my money leaving my account.

I contacted their so-called “customer support” (read: a black hole of excuses and ghosting), and surprise, surprise — no refund, no help, just automated nonsense and radio silence. Every response felt like a bot trying to stall until you give up.

Let’s be real: we didn’t buy tickets, we made a fake company richer. They took my money and vanished like a magician at a low-budget kids’ party — poof, gone.

Save yourself the trouble. Unless your hobby is donating money to fraudsters in exchange for absolutely nothing, stay far away from Stubhub. This isn’t just poor service — it’s deliberate theft dressed up as a business.

Honestly, it’s not worth it. The risk is too big and they have all the card. I bought some tickets to an event and the seller sold me some obstructed view seated. The seller only listed the barcode for sell apparently, so the ticket details weren’t listed. On the listing themselves, the seat numbers were not listed. (Apparently they don’t have to be) But they were listed as “clear view”. Well, I got the tickets, realized on the seating charts they were not clear view, thought I was protected by the Fan Protect, but so far it has been nothing but a hassle, even with proper documentation from the venue itself. Customer service is rude. It’s just not worth it. My recommendation is just don’t. I have $500 tied up right now in come crappy tickets. I don’t want this to happen to you. I’ll come back and update if my experience changes but the last week with StubHub has been trash.

I bought two tickets to Theresa Caputo show at ENGLEWOOD PAC when showswere 1st announced price at 186.00 a ticket in front row only to find out night before I had no tickets they were resold & not by me I never received $ either I also found out stubhub had my information bought 2 Rolling Stones tickets and resold them too under my name chg the initial cost of Rolling Stones and Theresa Caputo I had to buy 2 more tickets to Theresa Caputo right after I found out my tickets were gone Stubhub gave me a discount as the 1st seats were now over $800 a ticket I sat on the side paid almost $600 for 2 tickets price should have been $500 a ticket now I found out i don't have my Beyonce ticket that I paid for and transferred from my email acct to my Screensaver according to information I found out Stubhub sold it a guy in Colorado for A Beyonce show at RED Rocks in June I never received a refund either and Stubhub doesn't want me going to the media or FBI

Kaart gekocht op maandag voor frankfurt-AJAX. Ostkurve, vak en stoel volgden op woensdag als ik het ticket kon downloaden. Mail binnen op woensdag met het ticket en heb de wedstrijd kunnen bezoeken.

Bought tickets for the game Bologna - AC Milan for €110. This game was postponed due to severe weather conditions. StubHub offered me to resell my tickets, since I could not attend this new date. I received confirmation, they sold my tickets for €58.
Unfortunately I never received my confirmed sales , and I received another unauthorized charge on my credit card, from StubHub. Due to problem with the sales of the tickets..... Customer service is not available their chatbot is re-routing your back to contact us page, with same unhelpful chat bot.

This company is a scam and legal actions are in preparation. Stay away from them!

Bought my tickets and called when they had not been received. Before I left on a four hour drive to the venue, I called and was assured tickets would be delivered. About 2 hours in, I called again and was told to wait until 4 pm as tickets were being sent. Naturally, they were not and now I am here and everything is sold out. Never even ever use @stubhub. They are a scam.

I purchased tickets for a sporting event upcoming month through StubHub International. Quickly I noticed that my bought tickets weren’t valid, resold multiple times (through other sites) and my seats didn’t “disappear” after purchasing said tickets on StubHub International. Trust me, I didn’t jump to conclusions and did my due diligent research.

After reaching StubHub about this matter, they keep denying the invalidity of the tickets, because “of their FanProtect Guarantee”, which means nothing.

I sent proof, and they informed me that I broke their terms of service because of my research (which is not true at all). Quickly they rectify their wrong statement of breaking their TOS, but would not issue my refund because “the tickets are valid”. Though, I am “free to sell the tickets through StubHub” if I don’t want them.

So not only did they not issue me a refund for their tickets which are invalid, they advised me to sell the tickets to another poor customer.

TL:DR: Their FanProtect Guarantee doesn’t mean anything, and they won’t help you when you purchase invalid/fake/scammed tickets through their service. They will actively cope out of any way to take responsibility for not delivering their end of the agreement.

EDIT 22-03-2025:
After leaving my review on Trustpilot, StubHub International has reached out to me and my case. I’ve been contacted by two employees who seemed capable, and informed (and assisted) me with my issue. They’ve apologised which I appreciate.

As a compensation they offered me a €50 coupon for StubHub since they were “sure that you [I] would use StubHub International in the future”. They also asked me to change my review, add the attentional information that my issues got resolved (which is fair). They also asked me to change my 1 star review into a 4 star review, which I won’t comply with, since the whole process left a sour taste and caused me stress.

Ticket received the same day as ordered. Everything fine no issues at all and great seats at the soccer stadium.

Kaarten voor concert Teddy Swims gekocht in september 2024 maar na alle negatieve reviews toch achterdochtig geworden maar kaarten werden door de verkoper mooi op tijd afgeleverd en konden in de daarvoor bestemde app worden gedownload en kon zo ook simpel genieten van het concert. Dus voor mij een positief bericht.

2 Voetbaltickets voor west ham tegen brentford via StubHub gekocht voor €363. 100% guaranteed. Bij het stadion bleken de tickets geblokkeerd. Volgens West ham box office was ik slachtoffer van fraude. Tickets mogen niet zonder medewerking van wHU worden doorverkocht. Mail gestuurd voor een vergoeding en na 5 werkdagen nog niets vernomen. Ik koop nooit meer tickets via StubHub!
