So it started with my wife purchasing tickets to a concert like half a year ago. Suddenly on Christmas day I get a notification that I am being charged for some random tickets to an event I am not even close to.
In the next 10 minutes we tried to cancel everything, tried messaging support. Support says we dont have to do anything they will take care of it. Out of 3 payments that went through, they somehow can only cancel one of them.

We message them again asking what the hell is happening. Now they give us an answer that we actually HAVE to do something ourselves and they cannot do anything further....

So they ask us to message our bank to let them know about the charges and for the bank to inform them and confirm that those payments were not done by us.

We did exactly that and now after waiting for like 2 months, my bank messages me that stubhub answered them WITH receipts and names that the ticket purchases were legit and money wont be returned to us.

So my take on this is - for sure it was somebody from the inside of the company purchasing tickets from my account. No way some random person suddenly knew my email and password on a random website and tried to purchase tickets through my real mail. No one is that stupid.

Honestly at first I didnt even realize that the website saves all my bank creditentials and that I am able to continue buying stuff without verification from my bank.

Disgusting rip off company taking advantage of people.Very wrong representation of where Talking Stick Amphitheater is. It si not by talking Stick Resort. It is in Glendale area 30 miles away. I had to cancel room at resort and then tried to get refund for my tickets. Sorry Charlie it's on you. You have to try and resell them. How can I do that when they do not give you barcode to tickets until 3 days before concert. Advertised for 65$ each ended up coming to 196$ for 2 tickets. I am 69 years old cannot figure out how to navigate their system and I am most likely going to get stuck with Billy Idol May 30.This company needs to be shut down.

Tickets verkocht, maar er is geclaimd dat de tickets niet geldig waren, wat onzin was. verschillende bewijsstukken naar hun claim support afdeling opgestuurd, maar nooit antwoord ontvangen. via de chatbot kunnen ze geen update geven en het personeel dat je moeilijk en langzaam spreekt draait er om heen.

This is a SCAM! I repeat, this is a SCAM! I made the mistake and bought some tickets through them - YOU DON’T BUY TICKETS BUT YOU BUY EMPTY PROMISES!! Basically they are overcharging you with hidden fees for non-existing tickets with the “promise” the tickets you bought will be delivered to you before the event starts! I tried to claim my money back via their customer support but it was a horrible experience! Moreover, i tried to claim my money back via Paypal but they closed my case in favor of this scam of a company saying i have received my tickets!! FALSE!! I HAVEN’T RECEIVED ANYTHING!
For the love of God, please, don’t do the same mistake! And if someone would like to have a class action suit filed against them, i am more than happy to participate!!

HAD KAARTEN VERKOCHT en koper zegt niet binnen te zijn geweest. Heb alle bewijs gestuurd en die *** klantenservice je niet fatsoenlijk helpen en zegt elke keer dat hun management het bepaald. Niks hier verkopen / kopen ! Ze kunnen me ook niet helpen.

Beloven veel maar leveren weinig. Kaarten zouden op 26 september 2024 digitaal geleverd worden. Helaas niets mogen ontvangen. Reactie van de chatbot is niet afdoende.

Last January I sold two Taylor Swift tickets to a buyer on StubHub for a concert occurring on October 20. I sold the tickets for $3420 total. In their email to me, StubHub said you must transfer the tickets, provide proof of transfer, and from there, regardless of whether the buyer accepts the tickets or not, you will receive your payment.

I successfully transferred the tickets to the buyer on Ticketmaster and the buyer accepted the tickets. I uploaded this proof to StubHub and believe that was all set to receive my payment after the concert. The Ticketmaster tickets were no longer mine because they were in the possession of the buyer. I was supposed to get paid the 3000+ dollars after the concert within 5 to 8 days the concert. It has been months after I have filed several claims the case has been escalated and I have still received no payment. The AI feature on StubHub website told me that the payment was canceled for some reason. I never received any form of notification from StubHub.

They told me that the buyer had difficulty getting into the show, I had already successfully transfer tickets. The buyer had accepted them. I did everything I could in my power, the tickets were no longer in my possession, and as far as I’m concerned, legally, I am entitled to receive payment and they are withholding money. In the screenshots, I will provide you see evidence that the buyer accepted the tickets. I transferred them. I even reached out to Ticketmaster who confirms the successful transfer and acceptance of the tickets, and I also provide evidence that StubHub provides contradictory information at one point saying I just needed to transfer the tickets and in another message saying, a later date that I had to have uploaded acceptance, which I still did regardless. Thanks for your help.

I feel like StubHub is operating unethically here by withholding my payment and I would like to receive my payment of $3420.

I had a horrible experience with StubHub. I purchased tickets for an event but never received them. Their customer service was unresponsive and frustrating to deal with. When I requested a refund, they flat-out refused, leaving me feeling ripped off. On top of that, the ticket prices were inflated with hidden fees. Overall, StubHub is a scam—avoid it at all costs!

I would rate this experience zero stars if I could. I purchased tickets advertised as a Disney Musical. Every confirmation I received specified it as such, and even my StubHub account listed it as a Musical. However, on the day of the event, I finally received my tickets—far too late in my opinion—and when I checked them, they actually described an orchestra concert. To make matters worse, the concert was not recommended for children due to its dark interpretation of the Disney story. This is a huge difference between a family-friendly Disney Musical and an event explicitly unsuitable for kids.

I immediately called StubHub as soon as I realized the issue. I spoke with a representative named Martin, who assured me it was likely a misprint and confirmed that the event would indeed be a Musical. He even stated that if it turned out not to be, I would be eligible for a full refund. Unfortunately, my worst fears were realized—it was a concert, not the Musical we expected. It was extremely disappointing for my 5-year-old daughter, for whom this was meant to be a special early Christmas gift.

I called StubHub again today, and a different representative informed me that the tickets were non-refundable. She claimed there was no evidence that my purchase confirmation listed it as a Musical, even though I provided all relevant details showing otherwise. This is incredibly frustrating and reflects poor business practices. I strongly urge others: do not buy tickets from StubHub.

I bought Shakira tickets before they were released by Toyota Center with "Floor TBD" as the designation. They were priced well despite the fees and I have always wanted to see Shakira up close and personal... But even weeks after the Toyota Center released the tickets mine are still designated as Floor TBD. I ended up fighting through the customer chat help to get to talk to a live agent. After several exchanges they said they would contact the seller to get them to release the ticket seat numbers. It has been over a week and my tickets still say "Floor TBD". I think I have been scammed???

A week later and the ticket seats have not been assigned. Chatted with the customer service who told me STUBHUB does not guarantee seat numbers only tickets and seats. What BULLSHIT.

LESSON LEARNED. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM STUBHUB!!!

AND NOTICE THAT THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO REVIEWS. WHICH MEANS THE ISSUES ARE REAL AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

Scam company. Refused to refund a ticket that was never received.

Absolutely appauled at how StubHub ripped me off with selling my tickets. I actioned the transfer about 10 times, emailed the buyer the actual tickets and he never responded. I messaged the help centre from 9am on the day of the game until 5pm sending the proof of everything I actioned as per the request and still my ticket sale was conveniently "cancelled". Absolutely unacceptable!!!

I decided to sell $300 tickets to a comedy show because a friend wasn't able to make it. I listed them for $200 and got a confirmation a half hour later that my tickets had sold for $112. I contacted customer service because I didn't list my tickets for that price and they told me the oweness was on me to provide proof I had listed them at a different price.

The tickets were sold to an @boostlyvip.com email address with no registrar. I'm very convinced they're scamming honest sellers to flip tickets at a lower price since the seller has no retribution. They've informed me that if I don't hand over the tickets they'll charge me the full amount of the sold ticket value.

F1 kaarten Hongarije pas na de start van het evenement ontvangen. Al 3x gemaild zonder resultaat.

Ik zocht naar 5 weekendkaarten voor de F1 in Hongarije. Pas toen ik betaald had € 1.045 kreeg ik de verwachte ontvangstdatum van de kaarten namelijk 20-7-2023. Toen besefte ik dat het om zondagkaarten ging i.p.v. weekendkaarten.

Met vijven afreizen naar Hongarije zonder de zekerheid van kaartjes vonden we onverantwoord. We hebben dus nieuwe weekendkaarten gekocht bij Gigsberg en die kregen we gelijk op 26-6-2024 al toegestuurd, zoals het hoort.

De zondagkaarten weer te koop gezet bij Stubhub, zonder resultaat. Op zaterdag uit de verkoop gehaald om ze dan maar aan de poort te verkopen. Maar op zaterdag om 23:00 uur, de "estimated delivery time" geen kaarten, op zondag om 8:25 uur, aanvang van het evenement, geen kaarten, om 10:00 uur geen kaarten. Ook geen mail van Stubhub ontvangen. Om 14:53 uur heb ik gekeken en zag ik een button dat ze beschikbaar waren. Dan kun je er dus niks meer mee.

De enige reactie op mijn mail die ik heb gehad is dat de klacht ongegrond is omdat ik tussen 23:00 uur en aanvang van het evenement geen contact met hun heb opgenomen om het op te lossen.

Niet op tijd geleverd is niet op tijd geleverd. Waardeloos bedrijf, waardeloze klachtenafhandeling.

Paid parking @ Busch Stadium got the receipt that I paid but never the email confirmation to actually park they kept my money would not even consider that I’m a customer that never got his moneys worth or a refund of the money spent ! Class action lawsuit is impending ! Watch !

StubHub is beyond HORRIBLE. I FLEW to POLAND from California to see Taylor Swift. I got to the event and was denied entry because of fraudulent tickets. I had to stand in the longest line you have ever seen, literally hundreds upon hundreds of people...ALL SCREWED OVER BY STUBHUB and then pay to buy new tickets in order to enter. SOOOOO many people who were screwed. NOW THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING ME because supposedly they fixed the ticket and sent it to me but I was already in the event - it was too late!!!! They are the absolute worst and I would never ever ever buy tix through them again.

Mijn eerste ervaring met Stubhub. Twee kaartjes kwartfinale NL-Turkije gekocht op de vroege ochtend van de dag van de wedstrijd. Pas na betaling zag ik de info over de levering: "na 18.00 uur ontvang je een mail met verzoek transfer van de kaartjes naar je UEFA App". Oei. Wedstrijd start 21.00 uur. Dus onzekerheid. Wilde niet de hele dag mijn mail checken. Keek ik om 17.30 uur, bleek de mail al om 13:38 binnen te zijn gekomen. Geruststeling, zag er zeer solide uit. Kaartjes geldig. Door omstandigheden kon ik alsnog zelf niet gaan, maar verkopen via Stubhub lukte niet meer na 18.00 uur, Stubhub (viagogo trouwens ook) sluiten dan de verkoopmarkt voor nieuwe verkopers. Uiteindlijk via Marktplaats verkocht om 20.30 uur. Tegen face value, twee mensen zeer blij gemaakt. Kortom: het werkt, maar let goed op of je bij aanschaf al ergens info kan vinden of de tickets al IN HAND zijn bij de verkoper en je de tickets dus DIRECT overgedragen krijgt of dat daar een (flinke) vertraging in zit. Vooral bij zeer ad hoc aanschaf op de dag van het event zelf is dat wel lekker voor je gemoedsrust om de kaartjes direct in handen te krijgen. En de UEFA app transfer garandeert dat de kaartjes echt zijn, dus vanaf moment transfer weet je 100% zeker dat het goed zit.

By far the worst experience. Going through stubhub was a huge mistake. In addition to being a rip-off and not providing the correct tickets, they didn't deliver third ticket and when trying to resolve they couldn't replace a ticket that I had ordered and paid for months prior. I will definitely be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
