I love this company because of Mike. He is very patient. I did not know a thing about LED lighting except they were a light. Using the attachment feature on the chat, Mike and I would communicate for hours in order for me to achieve my goal. My goal was out of the ordinary as I wanted the LEDs to be an intricate part of my 4 piece outside sculpture. Never once did Mike get upset with me because I did know anything. Horrible customer service. They have a "chat window" on their website that is never monitored - it simply says to email them anytime you initiate a chat. There is no way to phone them and they are unresponsive by email. I placed an order and got the power supply wrong, and have been trying for three days to clear it up. With Chinese New Year starting in two days I would guess I won't be hearing from them for at least another week. Regardless of how good their products may be, I wouldn't buy from them again due the inability to contact them or get a timely response.

**As a post script to the above review, I found that after leaving a bad review here, I was contacted promptly. The person that assisted me was trying to be helpful, and was very responsive after our initial contact and emailed me promptly with responses. Unfortunately with my lack of experience with LED control and the options I want, I was frustrated by the lack of explanation on the compatibility of controllers with things like WIFI and RF control when using addressable strips. It seemed as though you can get one but not the other, or both, but not with that controller or strip. Bottom line is that if you have simple needs, or already know how to structure your system I'm sure they can deliver, but overall I'd say the issue lies more with the manufacturers documentation and not Superlighting LED. I therefore have changed my rating to a 4 based on their effort to meet my needs.

We tried looking for LED strip lighting on our own through Amazon and home store websites but it was very confusing and we knew we needed help. And we received excellent help and now are excited about our lighting project. Thank you!

The person took the time to understand my project, make suggestions with parts that I did not know about. She also gave me technical information that I could not find elsewhere.
Apart from the shippings fees that are quite high, I loved my 1st experience with this website.

Extremely helpful. I know nothing about LED's, lights, voltage, you name it, and they helped me pick out what I needed to make a project come to life. They offer very cool programmable LED strips/tubing and can customize your order to what you want (spacing between them, waterproofing, sizing). The most valuable feature of this company is hands down their customer service and chat function. Use the chat and they will help you pick out what you need and answer any questions. They're quick to respond and SO helpful, I would not have been able to create my project without them.

I had some issues when spec'ing lights and power supply for a custom build out, but Daisy at SuperLightingLED spent time helping me figure out what products I would need to remedy my issues. I feel confident that I will be able to contact the folks at SuperLightingLED to help me with all of my future projects needs!

I am installing LED lights in a bookcase and am unfamiliar with electrical and LED integration. I found the website helpful, but I still ordered incompatible or underrated controller. Daisy recommended a better choice for my application in LED products and Mike coached me on compatible components.

i have not been paid for this review nor do i know anyone who works for this websight. i am a customer who stumbled upon this websight. my review of it and the chat feature is as follows:

Websight Review:

This websight is different than other websights concerning buying LED lights in that it has a ton of very helpful information on them. the different types of LEDs, controllers, drivers, etc.- can be used as an educational resource. the origanization of the websight was great - it clearly explained the differences in all the lighting systems - and when it discussed say for instance LEDs lighting types it had deeper explanations on topics which had clickable links to get a further understanding of the topics at hand. The language could improve - specifically the english translation - as when reading it at first was a littleconfusing. after further reading i got accustomed to this sentence structure. Overall i give it 5 stars

CHAT Feature:
the live chat was quite helpful and the assistants responding to me had overall good suggestions for my lighting project. Do be aware there is a time difference and for the most part live chats for me had to occur in the late evening. i do encourage creating a user id and password - as when i asked a question and the chat was offline - it was indeed answered when i logged in late evening. although there is a bit of lag time between responses (a minute or two or three) and there seems to be a bit of a language barrier in the chat, information can still be exchanged without too much difficulty. what i especially liked about the chat is that they were able to send the entire chat (with clickable links still activated) to my registered email so that all the information i gathered was not lost. do know you will need to specifically ask them to email the chat and will need to re-provide the appropriate gmail.

Summary Comments:
because of all the very helpful information, the solid live chat feature as well as having one of the largest selection of LED lights of any websight (particularly they were the only websight where i found NEON Leds with 480 leds/meter) and reasonably priced, i would say i will use this websight again in the future.

ps: although i have not placed an order yet i was told
lead time from ordering is 6 - 8 days. from my
experience on the websight / chat i believe them.

pss: THEY HAVE COUPONS directly on the websight - its the last tab on the right - depending on how much you spend.

First of all, the amount of products and information is amazing for this store. Mike is solid gold!
I would advise you keep with him.
There was a slight issue, Daisy was nice but there was some confusion possibly with myself and Daisy. I emailed my requirements and I was given a list, after I chose from the list and made my order, I was told the controller that I was told to order, would not work with the light strip and that I would have to re-order a different controller, no biggie, but that coupled with the aluminum channel that I had to order triple of, because they could not break up the package(again told after I already ordered), shot up my order amount. Now they way that I was told to re-order then led me to not be able to get any discounts, (The math on the re-order was off, but only by a couple dollars, so I was not too worried about it). So after my package arrived, Mike was the man! He quickly answered my questions and emails and solved my issue. Unfortunately, again the controller that I originally wanted, was then finally gotten right and recommended by Mike. Now I will have two controllers, which isn't a big deal as I can probably use it, but again, if I had just talked with Mike from the git go, I would have been much happier and probably been able to get the discounts. Oh well, you live and learn. With all that said, I still would say that this is by far the best LED strip lighting company out there. From their LED aluminum channels, to their vast documentation, industry knowledge and actual LED products, you will not find anyone close!!!
